I want to start by saying I never give bad reviews. I try to keep bad opinions to myself but this was just so so so bad that I need to warm other people. I got delivery hot and sour soup, curry chicken extra spicy and extra sauce. The hot and sour soup was burnt. They caked their spicy wontons in straight jiffy peanut butter (like what? Honestly it tasted so bad I couldn't even eat it) I asked for extra sauce on their curry chicken and it was completely dry. I asked for extra spicy and there was literally no spice at all. They barely used any curry in their curry chicken. For the amount I paid, it was awful. I recommend staying far away from this place..literally anywhere else is better. Unfortunately we stopped there because it is close to our house, I must say the worst Chinese food I ever had in my life. The tempura Chicken was soggy and full of oil we had to dump it, the chicken Broccoli was better then the Cashew nut chicken which was not eatable. The shrimps worst then The chicken. The only eatable food was the fortune cookie and the steamed rice. I ordered from Uber eats and this was nasty. I ordered crispy shredded beef so that alone was almost $20, basic fried rice for my kid and some egg drop soup. Nothing tasted right. I had ordered once before and I couldn't remember my experience but their delivery time was sooner than everything else due to the rain. Never again. I rather wait double time for better food. The meat tasted gross and expired. The crispy shredded beef didn't have all the usual shredded veggies in it. Everything just tasted off. I love the chicken Lo mein here and there's a chicken Lo mein platter combo where u can get fried rice with it. Pretty good rice, slightly dry. My dad loves the chicken cashew dish that comes with sticky (white) rice. Close to home and always makes the food quickly. read more

this place has some great tasting food. There are 3 places in Lorton to get chinese food and this one is the best. I've had the orange chicken and the sesame chicken...both of them have been great tasting, flavorful, and huge portions. Considering the other two options of Chinese restaurants in Lorton, this is the better one. read more

I wanted to some Chinese food and chose this place. So, I figured I would get the combo fried rice since I didn't think they could mess that up. And let me tell you it was worst I have ever tasted! I also got spring rolls and chicken wings. The spring rolls were very good and the wings ok, I had 2 pieces and that was all I could eat. Delivery order took 50 mins and we are literally only located down the street (7 minute drive says GPS) but they could have been busy, so I understand. What I DON'T understand is how the fried rice in all of our dishes was bland and tasteless, even in the spicy dish. I never usually have to add soy or duck sauce to rice but found myself needing 2 packets of each. Typical chinese take out. For chinese take out, I usually go to Hunan Taste in SPringfield, but I was craving the singapore style noodles so ordered from here instead. (Hunan Taste does not have this on their menu). My friends also ordered with me. From the four of us we ordered the singapore style noodles, general tso's chicken, drunken noodle, hot and sour soup, chicken fried rice, and the pu pu platter. I've had food here before and I remember it being pretty good. But it has been a minute and a half. Here is our review based on the food ordered: Singapore style noodles--Light curry taste with a slight kick. Taste was good. I would get it again. General Tso's chicken--Too much breading and barely any meat. Sauce is way too sweet. More like a sweet and sour chicken than general tso's chicken. I'll pass. My friend barely touched it. Drunken Noodle--No! Just no! VERY oily and the noodles all stuck together. It seriously was in a pool of oil. A shame because it had a lot of shrimp and bright green and red peppers which was aesthetically pleasing, but way too oily. Hot and sour soup--the soup was cold. =( My favorite is hot and sour soup and this was bad. It wasn't even warm. COLD! I had to actually microwave it to make it hot. CHicken fried rice--this was probably the best in out of all the entrees we ordered. Flavor wise it was not bad. They also put in a lot of chicken pieces so every bite was rice and chicken. Flavored just right. Not bland like most places. Pu pu tray/platter--It was ok. The crab rangoon barely had any filling in it. Just looked like a schmear of cream cheese. The shrimp tempura was a giant heaping of breading and a tiny shrimp. But we will admit, we did enjoy the spare ribs, fried chicken wings, and the chicken on a stick. Very nicely flavored. This place has potential. I give it a 3 star rating because I have had good food in the past. Should be more of a 2 star base on the take out we got this day. But I'll try them again. So, I'm a fatty fat fat person, so i love my food. This is cheap chinese food - but that's kinda the point. It's fast food in a strip mall. Its great for take out. I call ahead, pick it up and have a nice dinner fast. i looked at a bunch of places in the area when we first moved to town. As far as quality and quantity for price - Taste of Beijing is the one we choose. Even after moving and having closer restaurants. Some of the dishes come with WAY TOO MUCH onion but that's a cheap filler trick that most places do, so if you can find one thats all meat and noodles - hit me up! When I arrived they staff was not busy and didn't seem to have any orders they were making. It took around 35 minutes to make beef lo mein and fried dumplings. The noodles were tasteless and the beef did not taste like beef. The dumplings are a good size but taste disgusting. Disappointing because I am very close to this location. The food arrived hot, filling us with false hope... The egg rolls were great, making me sure that we'd made a good decision choosing this place. The soup looked great but tasted like water. The crispy noodles were tasteless. I had the sweet and sour chicken which was crispy and typical of Chinese delivery standards, the sauce was the equivalent of red water. My fiancee had the general tso's chicken which tasted like dog food. The fried rice was lacking flavor as seems to be a common theme here. We also ordered the Peking duck rolls, BAD idea. They were duck and iceberg lettuce wrapped in flour TORTILLAS. This was a $6.25 slap in the face. They didn't even try to make this appealing or flavorful. This "restaurant" couldn't pay ME to eat their "food" again. Please consider something else in the area. read more

Of all the local carryouts, they do vegetables right - cooked just right, tender-crisp. The chef puts in lots of your selected protein unless you, like me, specifically request you'd like more veggies than meat, not more meat than veggies (which most westerners prefer). Delivery is prompt and the order is always correct; don't forget to tip your driver. They will modify a recipe if you wish, e.g. I like ginger in my chow mein or broccoli dishes. ALSO you must know that this place has the BEST SPARERIBS - plenty of succulent sauce, the meat is not tough. Most other local carryout-delivery chinese-american food places have spareribs that taste ok but are tough and not juicy. All the dishes are good: this is classic chinese-american takeout the way its supposed to be as you had it growing up in city or suburbia (If you want regional authentic chinese-chinese food, then don't do delivery - use yelp, then get off your butt and drive to an eat-in place like A&J (falls church & rockville), Mark's Duck House (falls church), China Star (fairfax), Hong Kong Palace (falls church), or Sichuan Village (chantilly) and be sure to ask for their chinese menu.) read more

I do enjoy the sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken also the egg drop soup is usually very good. Very friendly service although not the fastest out there. I get the Peking duck which is fantastic but not always available. I also get shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. The do charge $2 for that but it is well worth it. Usually a shrimp in every bite. They also deliver which is convenient. read more
