    Nitro cold brew and latte

Such a pleasant experience. I've wanted to visit Nook because the coffee bean roasting always smells sooo good. They really know their stuff. They also serve so many baked goods! So so so many different coffee options are available too. I settled on the nitro cold brew with oat milk and an egg and cheese sandwich. My coffee was packed with flavors and quickly made, and the baristas were so helpful and didn't rush me as I ordered. The inside smells incredible because of all the coffee, there's some benches but not a lot of seating, but we came mid day so it wasn't crowded and we could dine in.

Best, best pumpkin chai latte in Center City. My friend introduced me to this place. It is hard to find parking so beware of PPA in that area. I got a 76 buck ticket picking up the latte. There was a long line but the pumpkin chai latte is worth it. The lady up front who works there and potentially owns the place is very good at chatting with the locals. They have a ton of baked goods to check out as well. The pumpkin chai latte is thick and tastes very balanced. Art is sold here as well which looked pretty interesting.

Vanilla Au Lait! It just tasted as yummy as the vanilla latte!

I had the most amazing iced oatmilk mocha I've ever had yesterday, and I got it from Nook! This mocha was the creamiest! This was the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate! I think I even dreamed about it which is why I had to immediately post this review!

Employees were so sweet and seemed to know regular customers by name. Coffee and quiche were great. Only downside is the seating situation - it's really only one long bench with a couple of side tables in front of it. If you're wanting to grab a delicious coffee and quick bite to go, this is your spot.

The best muffin in Philly so far! Highly recommend their freshly baked muffins! I love this kinds of local small business that roasts their own coffee & bakes their pastries in the shop. I will definitely going back to try their other baked goods go support local small business! There is not a lot of space for hangout /dine-in, but there is restroom inside the store. It's more suitable for takeout instead of dine-in.

Great coffee selection and breakfast food. Despite only having two people up front the wait wasn't long at all!

Some of the best coffee I've ever had, and the baked goods were to die for! I'm not local, but if I were I'd be there multiple times a day.

Ordered: - Mango Milk Coconut Matcha (July 2026 Special) - Housemade mango syrup, your choice of milk, matcha, coconut cold foam (only iced) - Well balance. I was worried the coconut might overpower the matcha but it didn't. According to their website it looks like their matcha is from Junbi. Visited a couple of times while I was living in Philly, from what I remember their banh mi were also pretty good. Pretty good place to study/work as well, they have two large table, a handful of small tables, and a bar section. On my recent visit in July 2026 it looks like they limit their wifi to 2 hours on the weekends and 4 hours on weekdays (sad to see since I don't remember this being a thing a couple years ago, but makes sense because they seem to be a lot busier now).

The honey badger latte is their specialty, but you really can't go wrong with any of their drinks. There's some barstool seating at the windows, but otherwise this is more of a grab and go spot. I've been wanting to stop by this spot for some time now on a recommendation of a friend who knows…read morethe owner. I usually go for coffee shops that are more work-in friendly, but today I wasn't with anyone with any particular working needs, so I decided to swing by. By swing by, I meant circle around. Not friendly to drivers needing to park. I managed to get a break when a utility truck pulled out from the curb right in front of the shop, right as I was swore a rash vow to move onto a coffee shop with better parking. Shop overall is small, but does have some good counter seating, stools with no backs, outlets, and solid wi-fi. Did some reading and working throughout the morning, and saw all of the usual suspects come through: a fire crew, fitness moms with their newborn babies, the local elderly couple just here for black coffee, etc. Seems like a good trickle, but never supremely busy (pun intended) at any given time. Smooth jazz on the speakers today also made working pretty sweet! Staff don't seem the friendliest but not outright rude, but they were professional and prompt. Good enough for me! As for the coffee, it was solid, but nothing that I'd go out of my way for. Just had a latte with regular milk, and it was a good compliment to working. Overall, given the difficulty of access, I'm probably not going out of my way to stop by. But for a good cup of coffee if I'm in the area, happy to revisit.
