iced mocha 16 oz and chai 12 oz
    Chris S.

I've been to another green line cafe before but it was my first time going to this one. The coffee was alright. I liked the hot chai more than the iced mocha. To use the bathroom, you need to purchase something and then let the security guard know. I think the window all along the wall is a very cool look and it seemed like a chill place to study of that's you're thing. It wasn't crowded at all and was pretty quiet. The barista was very kind as well.

I've been to this location a couple times. It's got a great spot in town and is fairly clean. Seating is about 6ish tables, so it's pretty small. Staff are very sweet and helpful. It's also not super echo-y when having a conversation. It isn't too busy between 8-9am like most coffee shops, which makes me think its losing business or has more expensive coffee than other shops in the area. Only real complaint is the coffee, unfortunately. The last few I've had there had a strange, burnt aftertaste that I really didn't like. May be the type of beans they use, but I've enjoyed my regular drink at locations in west philly without this aftertaste. I enjoy oat mochas, so I usually get that. I may try more drinks later and see if this is just a mocha thing.

Green Line is in the same building I work in so I go here quite often. I've actually never tried their pastries or bagels but I hear great things. I really enjoy their sweet potato wrap and chick pea salad. I'm also a big fan of their chai latte. Green Line is a bit expensive but there's rarely ever a line and the staff is super nice. It's conveniently located for a lot of people, being right next to the Comcast Center. They offer breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, apples, bananas, oranges, and chips. One time the barista said I could have a second orange for free! This is a good place to go to get work done because it's never too busy and it's normally quiet. Not to mention, all of the windows and the corner location make it a great people watching spot if you're into that sort of thing.

I like this place because it's an inexpensive coffee shop right in the city. They have almond milk which is a good thing for vegans and they also carry Dottie's donuts which are vegan! They're 2.50 and usually carry good flavors. The barista is always friendly and the atmosphere is always calm and cool is a bustling city.

Basic coffee shop attached to an office building. Our coffee was made quickly and it was a solid spot to hang out for an hour or so.

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. Parking is on the street. Mild noise level. They have a good amount of drink options, including rotating specials, as well as pastries, bread, and misc items like granola and coffee beans. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.

I did wish there was open seating for me either inside or out because I had a long walk but there's only 3 tables inside and a couple out so if you plan on staying maybe come a bit earlier

Each morning, I visited this café during my last visit and enjoying a cup of hot chocolate both times. One of the first things I noticed as I walked into the café was the atmosphere. It felt welcoming! My hot chocolate had the smooth richness and was great to start the morning off. There were plenty of tables to sit at in the morning. The style of the café was great with a modern and clean, yet warm enough to make those early morning hours seem somewhat purposeful, and not as rushed as they could be! If you're looking for breakfast options, it is slightly limited at this café. There were some muffins and baked goods available. My experience with El Café in The Hilton Mōttō was very good overall. I enjoyed the hot chocolate. It was rich, smooth and perfect comfort in the morning on the go. The customer service was also great! They were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Additionally, I thought the prices for their coffee and hot chocolate was reasonable. I'd stop by El Café again if I stay at the Hilton Motto.
