We were also thinking of going to the Sushi restaurant next door but when we saw this restaurant was packed on a Sunday night, we knew we had to try. Much to our delight the food was very tasty. We ordered the meat platter to share. Every item was seasoned well and tender. Probably one of the best Persian I've had and I've tried quite a few in Lower Mainland. The service was a bit slow at first but it was a busy night and there was a big group there for a Christmas party. Once it cleared up, service was more attentive. Also to our delight, while we were towards the end of our meal, a table of men suddenly got up and started dancing! The owner/managed was so nice, he even turned up the music and encouraged us and the big group to dance. People were dancing and eating. We definitely didn't expect a fun quiet Sunday dinner turned to be a fun time. We'll have to venture out to Coquitlam again to try more dishes and hopefully perhaps there will be another impromptu dancing. lol.

The server was nice and polite and we were quickly served a couple glasses of water and given the menu to peruse. The interior although we did not sit inside i did see when I went in to check in. It was very nicely decorated and looked cozy. I ordered a vaziri kebab and wifey ordered a chicken curry. We also ordered for starters a kashk o bademjoon. When the food arrived they were beautifully plated and the colors amazing. I had a taste of the starter and was delighted at the texture and flavor. Very tasty. My dish of kebabs were seasoned well and the meat was moist. Every bite was delicious with a mouth full of the rice. The was a side of salad on the plate as well, get your veggies in ;) but the star of the plate is the kebab. Wife's dish was spicy for her and she ended up taking it home as she's not good with hot spice. I think the spice level for me was fine, nice kick to it. Over all very nice meal and pleasant server. I read rave reviews about the chia seed lemonade, and it was just as good and refreshing as everyone said. I noticed a sign indicating that they will be relocating to a different spot in Steveston; I'll make sure to post a picture of that sign. I definitely recommend trying this place!

We come for lunch around 2pm on a Saturday and it was not full. They do have Middleastern music in the background but a nice hearing level which doesn't interrupt conversation. Simple restaurant but minimalist tastefully decorated. As soon as we came in we were greeted, walked to our table and Tea and Water was brought to our table. This restaurant is from Iran so they had typical dishes from that country. A lot of them have a base of yogurt, so it is not Vegan friendly, except for salads and the Veggie Kabob. We ordered a Chicken Kabob and Slamon Kabob. Both dishes came with rice and a small salad. Everything was very tasty and portions were reasonable. Chicken was so soft you didn't need a knife to cut it. Salmon melted in your mouth. Food was super fresh. They do take their time cooking it at the spot. We waited like 20min for our Main Dishes to be cooked.

This is a Persian restaurant that specializes in kebabs, and despite the variety of dishes on the menu, they have few options - chicken, ground beef, salad, grilled tomato, basmati, and naan. We got the #3. Cholo Vaziri which has both chicken and seasoned ground beef skewer served in salad and rice, so we added a naan for $2 extra to try a bit of everything. The chicken is quite juicy and the ground beef is very juicy and flavorful. Rice is perfectly cooked and the salad is refreshing. The naan is huge. The provided tzatziki sauce is quite garlicky and complements well with everything. My only complaints are minor - I'd love more tzatziki (possible with $0.75 surcharge) and parking is almost impossible and spots are very tight. Otherwise, this is an excellent restaurant

First, the couscous is not the usual couscous we've all had. This is Lebanese couscous, which is so different as to be unrecognizable as "couscous". It is so very good, I could have a whole meal of that and be happy. I generally prefer baked falafels, but this fried one was great; crispy on the outside, and soft and green on the inside. I've avoided dolma in the past, as I had it once years ago and it was terrible. But this dolma was good enough for me to stop avoiding it in the future. People were very nice, and it took less than 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It's a grocery store with a deep selection of many items, such as spices, pastas, canned fish, .... (see photos). I enjoyed this enough, I came back again about a week later for another Sampler Plate meal. My only slight peeves are, I wish there were a bit more to the salad (which isn't even listed as one of the sampler items, so a bit hard to complain!), and that the pita had some whole grains in it (I find white wheat boring).
