We were also thinking of going to the Sushi restaurant next door but when we saw this restaurant was packed on a Sunday night, we knew we had to try. Much to our delight the food was very tasty. We ordered the meat platter to share. Every item was seasoned well and tender. Probably one of the best Persian I've had and I've tried quite a few in Lower Mainland. The service was a bit slow at first but it was a busy night and there was a big group there for a Christmas party. Once it cleared up, service was more attentive. Also to our delight, while we were towards the end of our meal, a table of men suddenly got up and started dancing! The owner/managed was so nice, he even turned up the music and encouraged us and the big group to dance. People were dancing and eating. We definitely didn't expect a fun quiet Sunday dinner turned to be a fun time. Even though it was close to closing, this family run business still cooked up an amazing combo platter for me. The combo platter had chicken, kebab, beef, tomatoes over rice. The proteins and tomatoes were perfectly grilled with right amount of char. The meats were tender and juicy. I was only going to eat half and save half for tomorrow, but I ended up eating majority of the entire plate and fell asleep in food coma bliss. 10/10 I would do it again.
