Homemade baklava was so pretty and amazing tasting!
    Angeline C.

We happen to have dinner here accidentally after the Brazilian restaurant next door was closed for a private event. It was definitely meant to be because we had an amazing experience. You can tell it's family owned and our waiter took the time to describe the dishes and recommend some. He even gave us samples of a drink we were inquiring about.. such top notch service! The portions were generous and affordable! My beef skewer plate was only $16! Fries were amazing and greek salad was delicious. Don't forget the baklava for dessert! Best baklava I've ever had and you can tell it's homemade. Highly recommend this place!

I'd say depending on what you order, your experience at Noon Cafe could be just okay or stellar, but I was lucky to come with a group of friends and was able to try a ton off the menu. Pulled up on a Thursday night at 7PM and the restaurant only had 1-2 other parties seated. Zaboon Sandwich (4.5/5): This would absolutely be my go-to order - the tongue is so tender and perfectly seasoned. Bread is the perfect ratio of carbs Persian Pizza (1.75/5): I don't think this one is great, think like a not super nice frozen combo pizza energy, but with beef hot dogs. If that's your vibe, you'll love it, but wasn't what I was looking for. Koobideh (4/5): Well seasoned ground meat blend. I thought the rice and veg was fairly standard fair. The rice in the dolmas were a bit soft for me, but was actually nicely balanced in flavor (I've had some really sour dolmas in my time). Roasted tomato was a nice touch though! Barg (4.25/5): Steak is actually perfectly cooked, super tender and juicy. Didn't come with a ton of protein, but came with the standard sides and was delicious, especially with a hit of acid from the lime wedges. Knafeh (1.5/5): In spite of the name, this is not knafeh, which was a big disappointment as I LOVE knafeh. This is just pistachio with kataifi, which isn't bad, but I was looking for a warm, crispy disk stuffed with cheese.

Service was very friendly, no issues with that. We paid at the front at the end. I don't know if I got unlucky/went on an off day. All the other reviews said the food was good, but I was rather disappointed. We tried the noon mix grill for $43, which came with a lot of white rice with some yellow rice sprinkled on top. The meat was surprisingly bland and overcooked. I expected it to taste better for this price. The $8 hummus and pita were just ok too.

Great place to get Persian food in Kirkland! Their beef skewer was my favorite thing that I had but everything as a whole was really good including the chicken and the rice. Pizza was OK, something that I would skip on next time. The service was pretty good. Overall, I highly recommend and would come back.

We heard a lot about this place so we decided to try it for lunch. The waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, he told us the significance of each dish and how it was supposed to be eaten. The place itself is quiet. We were the only one there so it wasn't busy at all. We ordered: - zamboon (tongue sandwich) --- good portion, love the bread, it was light, soft inside, but crispy outside. The meat was juicy and soft. I wish it had more flavors though. The dish also had a nice presentation as well. - koobideh platter - 1 skewer of beef, rice, taziki sauce and a roasted tomato --- the rice was very aromatic, the butter helped balance it out. The meat was very tender and juicy. I love how it goes well with the raw onion and the basil. Overall, it was a pretty good place to eat. Portions was good for the price.

    Shirazi salad for $10!!!

Great burger! Must try! I have tried their sandwiches before too! Very good! This time I got it I was a little shocked at the Shirazi salad thst I paid $10 for! I get jt, it's a chopped salad but $10 for a tiny side size? They could do better about serving size or reduce the price! It's more like a $6 salad and not worth $10z

I absolutely loved my first experience here at noon café. I came here with two other friends and we ordered three things to share. We got the Persian pizza, the hamburger, and the sosis bandari (sausage) sandwich. I was absolutely transported back to Tehran where I had delicious Persian pizza. It was a nice throwback to a nostalgic time for me. The sausage sandwich was delicious, the bread was perfect and not too thick or crunchy. The burger was good. Our server, I believe was the owner and he was incredible. His service was prompt, he explained what items were popular, greeted as very kindly, and overall made our experience very lovely. I highly recommend anyone visit noon café, especially if they love Persian food. I will definitely be coming back to try some other foods.

We are from California and visiting Seattle and decided to try persian food. California in known to have good persian food but I must say this was the best authentic persian food we had. We tried Zaboon,Mortadella , bandari sandwich, persian pizza and Koobideh. All were amazing. We just want to come back to seattle for this place.

Had takeout food from this restaurant. The hummus and the fries were solid. However, I wasn't a fan of the pizza - it was very blend and the cheese was too heavy overpowering everything else. The beef tongue sandwich was OK - the texture was more like a ground meat, and though had too much of moisture from the meat making it not crispy, but mushy - not for me

I've been low-key obsessed with this place for weeks (maybe months?) thanks to DoorDash--but honey, going in person? Game changer. The food? Even better fresh. The vibes? Immaculate. The staff greeted me with the kind of warm, smiling faces that make you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time walking in. It's a charming little spot that seriously delivers--both to your door and to your soul. I'll definitely be back for another bite of heaven.

Incredible food, incredible service and what great hospitality! The kebab mix grill was incredible. The sausage sandwich was so good. The bread was so soft and the sauce was just right. This is probably the best Persian restaurant in the Seattle area.

We were in Kirkland overnight on Easter for an early surgical appointment on Monday. After walking…read morearound to stretch our legs from the drive we ducked into Zeitoon Grill House for some Persian cuisine. Based on decor I wondered if it had been a pub or steakhouse once in its life: lots of paneled and coffered wood, chandeliers, and wooden booths with coat hangers. We started with the baba ghanouj and ordered the fesenjan and a beef kobideh for meals. The meals came with a salad to share rather than small individual salads on the plate which was a nice touch. The staff was able to provide some veggies with the baba ghanouj since my partner in crime can't have bread. The baba ghanouj was great - exactly the smoky eggplant flavor I was craving when I saw the sign for Persian cuisine. The kobideh was nice and tender - you could taste the onion. The fesenjan was also extremely good. One question: Who eats this much rice in one dish? The rice was very good - but it is a lot of rice. I haven't had Persian like this since we had Persian neighbors who invited us over.

Zeitoon opened in downtown Kirkland many years ago, replacing the Central 21 Steakhouse. Much of…read morethe interior still has the original dark room steakhouse décor. The center area hosted a huge group with multiple tables pushed together. I have avoided Zeitoon all these years because they are higher cost, not necessarily justifiable since there are lower cost Persian foods or similar Mediterranean restaurants in the area. I finally decided to try them. Our server answered my questions, including his favorites. Two questionable/sketchy things happened: 1. Our server recommended the Mirza Ghasemi, which he said is great with the optional soft-boiled egg. Sounds good. We ordered it. The optional egg is $2, which is not identified on the menu. (See photo) 2. When he recommended the Mirza Ghasemi, we asked him to remove the Mast O Khiar which we initially chose. I said we only want one appetizer. He nodded and said OK. When the Mirza Ghasemi arrived, so did the Mast O Khiar. They put both on the table and immediately left. I flagged the original server to remind him we said to remove it, but a different person showed up instead. He: "You want to cancel this? No problem." and took the yogurt away. I did not order this; it is not me canceling. Minus 0.5 stars from overall rating. The Food: Mirza Ghasemi + egg, $14 +$2 - 2.5 Stars This eggplant dish is the one recommended by our server. We do enjoy eggplant dips, especially warm versions. The optional "soft boiled egg" is not an American version but tiny threads of yellow egg bits mixed within the eggplant mixture. Honestly, we cannot taste the egg. It is borderline a scam. This dish would be 3.5 stars if it was $14 at the menu price, which is already on the high side. A $16 eggplant dish is delusional. Lamb Shishlik Kebab, $36 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Lamb rack marinated and chargrilled (see menu photo) I knew I would not see a rack of lamb on my plate. I got four lamb chops. Meat quality wise, this is excellent. It comes with a ton of basmati rice and a salad with a refreshing light dressing. This is a bit spendy for the quantity of meat, but taste is good. Soltani Shishlik, $42 - 3.5 Stars This is the exact same dish as above except add a skewer of grounded beef kebab. This kebab, and I quote my hubby, is "not that good". Same comment for the rest of the dish. A basket of lavash bread arrived at the table. I believe it came with the Mirza Ghasemi. We have eaten many lavash breads, commonly used as wrap so it is grilled and/or heat-pressed with oil on the surface. These lavash breads are simply warmed. I learned they taste terrible that way. The surface has a sandpaper texture and still taste like sandpaper when eating it. If I paid for this separately, I would be upset.

In long Meeting an old friend for lunch, I looked for the best place that was close to halfway between us. I knew he dug Persian, but, for all the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean I've tried, this was my first venture. Safe to say I was long overdue for this exploration. 100th is pretty dense with little strip malls and mixed-use retail/residential for miles through here. A couple blocks away, you're in very leafy suburbia, but this stretch of road is 4 lanes and endless business district. BBMC is tucked on the east side of the street in a corner suite, plenty of parking. The dining room isn't much bigger than the back of most moving trucks you've loaded in your life; there's seating for maybe 20, and about 4 more on the little sidewalk patio. There's a clean and spacious washroom in back, though getting a wheelchair in there might take some doing. You get laminated menus and a carafe of water within a minute of sitting. It's not the longest menu, but evidently pretty extensive by Persian standards. We both went for grilled kebabs with basmati rice and salad. I was on duty to bring home a full serving of leftovers, so I went with the King's Choice. Great big salad, and a huge tray of rice. This is clearly designed for at least 2 to share. As it happens, that was the plan, since we're having leftovers for dinner at home. The salad has tons of fresh veg and a nice herbaceous yogurt dressing. No sauce on the meat or rice, but there's a ton of flavor from perfectly-balanced dry seasoning. The beef, ground beef, and chicken kebabs were all bursting with moisture and flavor, cooked just to perfect doneness, and showing nice little hints of grill scoring. I paid a little over $70 for what will be 3 servings of food (at least), and I haven't even tried the eggplant appetizer yet. I grabbed that to go. This place is worth many repeat visits, and I'd be in here regularly if I lived closer.

The people working are calm and professional. On to the food-- we had the ground chicken skewers (our fav and will order again), the lamb shank (lacking in excitement but nice cut of meat nicely cooked), hummus (pretty good), shabzi salad, and yogurt/spinach dish (zingy and good). We are never fans of the thin dry lavash at these restaurants but that is not a negative since it is traditional. It does make eating the hummus and other appetizers less appealing and we long for something less paper-like. Our water glasses were always filled, plates cleared at perfect times, and dishes came out at decent times. Negatives: sour cherry rice was the worst we've had - giant sweet cherries with a splash of rose water was not good- overly sweet and unpleasant. Dessert- Zoolbia (fried dough with syrup) Our kids ate it because it was sweet but as soon as we walked out of the restaurant they both said it was actually not good and made their tummy hurt- it looked quite old.. maybe left over from weekend. They should just say they are out if it's old. Pros: very clean, professional, good ground chicken kabobs. Overall- we will be back and know what to avoid. Looking forward to trying some other items.
