I rarely give negative reviews, and I'll start by saying their baba ganoush is fantastic and the reason I keep coming back, but they're really inconsistent with fulfilling mobile orders and the cashier is not friendly. What has me writing this time is that I placed a mobile takeout order at lunch, was pleased to find that it was actually ready at the designated time (have had a couple times where it's super late), but then when I got back to my desk, I found that there was no baba ganoush even though I had ordered it. I tried to go without but realized that the ingredients (besides the chicken) are a bit flavorless without a sauce (which is not the case at say, Dig Inn). I couldn't bring myself to eat the rest so I saved it and stopped by after work to pick up a sauce, and found the cashier to be super surly about the situation. I had to pull out my bowl to prove that it had no sauce (as if someone would come in just to get free sauce??) and the cashier reluctantly put a scoop of baba ganoush into a little takeout cup, then seemed to change her mind and take out half of it. What?? I had ordered two servings of baba ganoush online (you can choose up to 3 sauces), but she said if I wanted another one I would have to buy it as a side. That little cup of baba ganoush would probably dress about 1/10th of the bowl. I had to opt for another sauce in order to flavor the rest. I wouldn't be writing if this were a one-off but I honestly think Noon has great food, there's just been too many instances of incorrect orders and now two instances of unfriendly cashiers. I've walked past this place countless time and have been meaning to try it. Finally got around to it, and so glad I did. Wow. Some of the best Mediterranean food I've had in the States. The quality is fantastic, as is the variety. It seems like similar places either specialize and do one thing well or do a lot of things sub-par. Noon does a lot of things really well. Particularly impressed by Mark's (the owner) handmade falafel. In addition to how good it all was, Mark and his wife, Angela were both in and went out of their way to make me feel right at home. This was my first time at Noon last Saturday for lunch. It was pretty empty, because Downtown Crossing is such a 9-5 M-F place to be that on weekends it is really quiet. So service was quick and attentive. The Mediterranean-style bowl they serve here was good, I picked a make-my-own and added the toppings I wanted. Everything was delicious EXCEPT for the fact that I had to pick out nearly each and every piece of the Spring Mix because it was rotten (the leaves were nearly black). I typically get a mixed protein rice bowl & I thoroughly enjoy it! It's flavorful and filling. They have a good amount of seating if you'd like to dine-in. Great option if you prefer a later lunch. I don't recommend coming here between 12-1:30 on a weekday. I was introduced to this place a few days ago and the food is amazing. Everything is so flavorful. So much variety to choose from! I've ordered twice here so far and the only complaint I have is that they've messed up my online order both times. First order I ordered the beef lamb meatball as my protein but got the brisket. Then today, I ordered the spicy fries to find out there was no seasoning on them. Just plain fries. Disappointing, hopefully it's not going to be like this every time. So i was one of the first people to eat at this restaurant when it had its grand opening. At the time, it was a great experience. This place has completely gone downhill since then. 1. They give you burnt meat after 7pm to save money and not make a new batch. I thought this was a fluke at first, but after the 3rd time, its clear they are doing this on purpose to cut costs. Not to mention the tzaki sauce looked like it had gone bad as well. The health department needs to inspect this place. 2. The employees too often do not wear gloves and touch your food (not on purpose though), but still this is another chipotle disaster waiting to happen. 3. From the original open, they have increased prices 30+%. 4. They have made their rewards program worse. They use to give a free entree on your birthday, now they just give dinky fries. What are you guy doing? Management here is screwing up to improve profitability. I go here once a week, and after this 3rd time of burnt meat, its just breaking point. Great fresh food, great staff. My friend and I went here for a late dinner and the staff behind the counter were very accommodating. We went there after closing by accident (the door wasn't changed yet), but they told us after serving our bowls to not pay attention to them cleaning the floors as they were closed.
