When I read the About section on NOOR Mediterranean I was excited about this new spot opening. We chose to visit on New Year's Eve. I made a reservation for a standard table and when we got to the hostess desk we were told it was outdoor seating. The only issue is that it was a chilly night with some light rain. All indoor tables were booked. We were about to leave but then wee offered a high top table and that was fine so we stayed. Walking inside the space the wall art and lighting accessories are beautiful. There are thoughtful menu options and the food presentation is top notch. The only negative is there are sevice kinks that need to be ironed out. But with a newer restaurant this wasn't unexpected. Tonight in addition to our different mezze options I ordered a beef flat bread but got served the chicken flatbread and we could not pay our check by scanning the QRC code on the receipt because two additional items were on the digital receipt that were not on the print receipt. We waited for awhile after we ended up having to give the server Sal our card. Which seemed odd because he had a hand held POS device to take our order and most restaurant servers can take the payment at the table with the same device. But I definitely plan to give them another visit in a few weeks to experience them during the daytime for lunch. read more

Restaurant looks nice and some of the food tasted good, but the service is horrid. Went here last night for dinner. Appetizer took quite some time to arrive at the table. The waiter forgot that someone at our table ordered a coke and had to be reminded after 10 plus minutes. The main dish also took a while and was warm and no longer hot by the time it arrived. This was the lamb chops and the truffle kabob. Ordered dessert and it took almost 20 minutes if not longer before we just cancelled that order so we could get on the road as we had an hour drove home. For the price, almost $250, for 4 people (no alcohol), and the portion sizes it is overpriced. Not coming back here as there is a better place that gives more food for the price that is just as tasty if not tastier. read more

The food, especially the shareables, hummus, raw dishes, and appetizers, was phenomenal. The ambiance and décor are very cute and welcoming. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. The owner and manager stopped by a few times to check on us, but in a friendly, non-intrusive way. There was also a DJ with a great mix of Middle Eastern and Western music. I give this place 5 stars without hesitation and will definitely be coming back to try more items. read more

Noor is a Syrian/Lebanese Mediterranean food restaurant. The menu was not what I was expecting, but we ordered anyway. Noor is easily the best restaurant in the PV corridor! We had the most fantastic dinner in this beautiful, warmly lit place. The food was creative, complex and absolutely delicious! The pita is a soft, fluffy cloud-like sensation, the hummus was the best I ever had - every single thing we tried was delicious! I tried the newly opened Noor on Sunday night. I was pleasantly surprised by all the choices on the menu. The bartender Max answered all my questions, and helped make some great recommendations. The owner also came by to see how everything was and also made some excellent suggestions. I enjoyed all the food, and had an Old Fashioned (done with a unique garnish), and an Arak, which was new to me. The atmosphere and presentation of the drinks and food really stood out as well. The lighting and the lighting fixtures are very classy. The glasses and pitcher of water are so pretty. The dishes were unique and so fancy! The menu is fantastic and the prices are unbeatable! The food is absolutely divine and clean! Many restaurants' food cause horrible bloating but not here. We were full but not bloated! The fish was incredible and the chicken was so tender (I am so jealous I can't cook my chicken like this at home!). The cherry mousse with the mint was beautifully displayed and delicious! The box they deliver the bill in is so unique and an amazing touch of sophistication. Our server was Stephanie, and she was so sweet, kind, and real. We loved her professionalism and energy. She wasn't over the top, she knew when to come and ask us how the food was (never when we had our mouths full), and she let us enjoy our time without rushing us. She was also entertaining just by being what seemed to be her true authentic self. She was a breath of fresh air! Stephanie is a true sweetheart and very professional. Thank you, Stephanie! This is one beautiful restaurant! From the decor, live Middle East music and staff, they set the mood for a most enjoyable evening. The waitstaff are professional and helpful. They offer both inside and patio seating, with a full bar and large wine selection. Our entrees, from the chicken kabobs to the mushroom risotto were excellent. The pacing of the dinner was perfect, we never felt rushed. Reservations are suggested since this is a new and extremely popular restaurant. We definitely will be returning, perhaps next time we will save room for desert. read more

We decided to invite a large group of friends to the restaurant and made a reservation. The food portions were small and mediocre at best. Overall, the service was very poor, and they did not seem equipped to handle a large group. We felt rushed to leave very shortly after the food was served. Tye dessert not that great . The owner also seemed bothered by our group, which felt very strange. In fact, he didn't even seem happy to have customers. Kids didn't seemed welcomed. Stopped by on what happened to be their first day open for lunch. The place is gorgeous with a very nice patio which is where we sat. I think because it was their first lunch day, things were slightly disjointed but really nothing to complain about. Our waitress was super friendly and the owner also stopped by to thank us for coming in. We weren't super hungry so just shared the beet and goat cheese salad, lentil soup, stuffed grape leaves and bread. We told our waitress that everything was good but the salad unfortunately was way over dressed. I genuinely hate to even bring up such trivial things but figured it's helpful for the kitchen. By far though, the star of the show is the ice cream dessert! Not inexpensive but holy cow.....amazing. Cotton candy whisps and pistachio bits on top of rose water vanilla ice cream was simply dreamy! I'm definitely going back in June, on my birthday for more of that! read more

The ambiance was great with some great wall art, lighting, and relaxing decor. The menu options and the food are definitely Mediterranean inspired and the staff seems to take pride in that. However things took a negative turn after that. There are some serious service kinks that need to be ironed out. I guess I could let a few things slide since it was a newer restaurant, however I was still disappointed with the multiple issues we had. My wife ordered the beef flat bread and got chicken instead. She also ordered the Medjool thief old fashioned and we shared the falafel hot mezze dish. The pita like bread was absolutely delicious. However when it was time to pay we could not pay our check by scanning the QRC code on the receipt because two additional items were on the digital receipt that were not on the print receipt. We waited for awhile after and then we tried tapping our card on the hand held and the check was still wrong. Finally we gave him our physical card hand but had to wait for about minutes before asking another waiter to check on Sal and our card. The bill was finally settled and I talked the manager Harra, (If I am pronouncing or spelling it correctly) to make her aware of what was going on which she actually knew about. We had a truly fantastic time at Noor last Sunday. The service was exceptional; our waitress was very attentive and present, provided great service and suggestions. The owner, Wael, a wonderful and caring business owner, stopped by our table multiple times to ensure the service and food was to our liking. We loved everything. As a Lebanese-American, this place gets the seal of approval for an amazing fusion of middle eastern and western food culture. The ambience is also fantastic. We immediately booked our valentines date at Noor *while we were eating there* and are planning to have our wedding rehearsal dinner there as well. 5/5, easy recommendation. read more

Went tonight for a birthday celebration. Ambiance and service top notch. The baba ganoush appetizer was very small for 3 to split and does not come with any pita for dipping. Hummus and kasari with cherrys were tasty. Branzino replaced salmon offering and was quite nice. Beet salad was very overdressed and had very few beets. Cabernet was excellent. Initially, I was a little concerned after reading earlier reviews about some service delays, but given that it was a new restaurant and inevitably there's going to be issues while they work the kinks out I gave it a try. I'm glad to report. I was not disappointed. Actually I was pleasantly surprised not only did the food come out quickly, It was hot and delicious easily. Easily the best Mediterranean food in town. Let me get this out right up front - the MUSIC. Why do you need the music? Many people go out to dinner to enjoy their friends, talk about the week, their lives, but do not want to scream over the music. The music and the DJ are just not necessary. Be a restaurant, or be a club, but don't try to be both. The food is good. We had hummus, salad, and a chicken flatbread to start. For entrees, we shared lamb chops and branzino - both were delicious. Dessert was a deconstructed baklava, disappointing because of the deconstruction. It did not taste like baklava. Had an absolute wonderful time celebrating a birthday . The food was delicious with fresh ingredients and gorgeous presentation. Alex was also a highlight in service who helped guide picking our appetizers and entrees while being Charismatic and knowledgeable on everything on the menu . Hands down worst dining experience in Paradjse Valley. First, it took 25 minutes just to order anything. Our hummus took 55 minutes to come out and the food took an hour an 5 minutes. On top of that we ordered the halloumi cheese which is lit on fire with some sort of flammable liquid. Our bowl that the cheese was held in was cracked so the flammable liquid poured onto the plate. The plate was on fire and not the cheese, the person who was doing this all said " ignore that" and walked away. Lastly, our main dishes were cold when they came out.
