Gaslight Diner knocked it out the park on all phases. Food + service + wait time + overall impressions. I have passed this place a million times and finally tried it. Encouraged by the positive reviews, it lived up to the expectations. All the food was hot, terrific, and nothing disappointed at all. Friendly laid back kind of place that is spaced out really well. All the customers were relaxed and chill. My food was ready when I got there. As far as parking in front of restaurants may be tricky since traffic can build up at the stop light, but I solved that by parking just a few buildings down from it. It made for a nice walk and easy exit. You betcha I will return and explore more of their menu.

Came in for a quick breakfast on a Saturday. Great seating options, nice staff and quick service. Food was great. Amazing diner atmosphere. Can't wait to try it again.

Met a friend for lunch here recently and it started out well. Sat quickly, got drinks quickly, ordered the tater tots appetizer with beer cheese dip and they came out looking good but were still frozen on the inside. I called the server over and he took care of it pretty quickly and they took the appetizer off the bill which was very nice. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings and my friend ordered the fish sandwich with french fries. Both meals were adequate, but not knocked our socks off. We did have to keep hunting down our server a few times and it was a mildly busy Saturday so the routine should've been flowing a little better. I didn't hate this place but I think I expected more from it and I'm not sure I'll be back.

I'm learning I enjoy lunch options here more so than the breakfast. Gaslight Diner wowed us today with their BLT, bologna sandwich, chicken sandwich, rueben sandwich and biscuits and gravy. The fries are good but don't blink on the upgrade to a side salad or onion rings. If you're looking for summer cocktails they have you covered too. Our server was friendly and attentive. We waited a bit for our order but I believe we walked in when the crowd was larger. Their new patio tables were full! We sat inside and there's plenty of seating there as well, including bar seating. The space is a casual diner, just as it's named. Parking is available on the street and typically not as an issue to find.

We've wanted to try Gaslight Diner for so long as J-Town residents but haven't had the timing work out for us until recently. We decided to give it a try for a brunch date! The dining room area is very cool and looks almost like an old retail store. (It may have been at one point.) Very spacious and open. It is a bit dark in spots though. Our server got with us quickly and she was very friendly. We got our soft drinks quickly while we were able to look at the menu. We decided on two breakfast bowls that sounded good and we also ordered a pancake and a homemade biscuit to taste them. Presentation of the food was very nice. The pancake was not super flavorful but the syrup saved it. The biscuit was absolutely great and our bowls were good. I did have to add salt to my Country Bowl as the Gravy didn't really give me that kick of flavor that I'd expect. My wife had the Farmhouse bowl and she really enjoyed it. I may do that one next time. Overall good experience and we'll be back for sure to try the lunch items!

Went for our Sunday after church brunch date. Food was very good. I chose a breakfast bowl, hubby had an omelet. Coffee was smooth & hot! Service was wonderful. Christy our server was so kind and helpful. We told her this was our 1st time visiting. She made a delicious ample sized mimosa, will try the pineapple version she recommended next time, maybe cranberry the next! Ambiance was family happy & still decorated for Christmas, as was the downtown J-town store front. So cute. Yes there are TV's, but not needed at that time of the day. At least the sound was off or turned down. We will be back another Sunday morning!

A food was okay, the prices are outrageous. The service was good. However, we found it to be very expensive.

We dropped in on Oaks night and even though it was pretty busy we were able to grab two seats at the bar. The only downfall of this was the time of day and the position of the Sun blaring through the garage door windows blasting me in the face however that cannot be helped or avoided, just a heads up for anyone who is super sensitive to the sun and arrives around sunset. I started with a Sunset Spritz and looked over the menu, there are so many great options to choose from and I was really torn on what to get but decided on the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich (you can also get grilled or fried, but the bartender recommended blackened) and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries come with a side of a smoky pineapple chutney of some sort and even though I'm not a huge fan of anything that's really smoky it was absolutely delicious and a great combo. Seriously 10/10 recommend. The sandwich was also fire! I am extremely picky about sea food, especially since I used to live near the cost so it was always fresh and it definitely did not disappoint. I was so full when we left lol My husband got the beef sliders as his entrée with a side of regular fries tossed in roasted garlic pepper. I tried them and they were just OK. The sweet potato fries are definitely where it's at! I am really looking forward to going back and trying out some new items like the Cheeseburger Hand pies, Chicken tenders or one of their boozy milkshakes ... it sounds delicious doesn't it!

This is going to be great". Unfortunately, that's where the great stopped. The menu is good. They offer a bunch of different burger options, Several chicken options and bar food apps. However, our service was very poor and slow. My party of 5 started with a chili con queso. It was basic but good. The serving was small for the price. We ordered a variety of meals. 2 chicken strips and fries, one grilled chicken strips and fries. A second order of grilled chicken with loaded sweet potatoes fries. And Lastly, a ground beef loaded nacho. The chicken was extremely dry and the nachos were so greasy. I know, we went to a burger place and nobody ordered a burger... maybe a bad move on our part. Also, every small sauce was $1 and you receive about an ounce. I was a bit surprised when I got the bill and none of the chicken came with any sauce. In all, It's cute enough and in a great location. I will go back to try a burger.... But based on our experience yesterday, I'd pass on the chicken.

We had a party of eight that they accommodated. Among other large parties we saw. The ambience of the place is so nice so retro. There are about 3 to 4 separate corridors within the building that hold different rooms. Two of them are JUST games. One is half tables half games and then one is just bar and tables. In the summer they have a window that lifts up where you can sit on their patio too. I got a house margarita which I ordered two of because the first one was so good. It was a celebration for my mother-in-law's birthday so she just got a regular beer, but the service was still good amongst all opinions . The bartenders were in good moods and the staff was still super nice and kind even though they were swamped. ----- The FOOD. UNMATCHED! To be THAT busy and push out food of the quality we received is mind blowing!! Good job! I've been here before but no one else had. Note! They only have tater tots. No fries. So I got the Always Sunny Totchos. HALF ORDER Their tots with queso (amazing) & SHREDDED STEAK, GRILLED ONIONS & PEPPERS To dieeee for! So delicious. Then I got wings to go; sauce on the side. COOKED TO Perfection! Buffalo, bourbon bbq, and ranch. My husband got the Mikey Likey burger and he said it was great. (ITALIAN SEASONED PATTY, WARM MARINARA, MELTED MOZZARELLA, PEPPERONI & BANANA PEPPERS) His sister got the "it's a wrap" and she enjoyed it. His mom got the "cougar bait tacos" and loved them. Can't remember what everyone else got because I was on the other side of the table, but everyone enjoyed it. Overall fantastic food! really interesting items. There are so many things on their menu I want to try. I just would probably go on a day they are not so busy. ---- Last notes, their games operate off of tokens that they have machines for that take $1, $5, $10, $20 & it's 25c for each token technically. During my visit, both were out of order so the hostess said that you have to go to the bar and you can swipe your debit card in exchange for tokens, which is a little inconvenient so we didn't do that. But no biggie. I had 4 tokens because it took $1 so she got to play Pac-Man twice and she was happy lol Additionally parking is a little rough when they are busy. Overall great place. Be patient. And maybe try a Thursday instead haha

We had just finished going through a long week of snow and single digit temperatures and were very anxious to go to BoomBox Pizza and have some Pizza. Our server was Candice and she did an awesome job. She was really organized, first she took drink orders in an order and then she came back and asked about Appetizers. There were a couple of orders of Cheese Bread and Bread Sticks. Quite a few of us ordered salads. My husband and I shared a BoomBozz Salad #1 with Mixed Greens, Candied Walnuts, Sun Dried Cranberries, Goat Cheese, and House Vinaigrette. It was so delicious. She turned in salads and appetizer orders and came back to get the pizza orders. I chose a Create Your Own Calzone with my choice of up to three ingredients. It came with Mozzarella & a side of Red Sauce. I added Prosciutto bcc Ham, Smoked Bacon and Ricotta. My husband had the 8" All Meat Pizza. It seemed that Pizzas were the biggest choice but there were several wing orders too. We had a fantastic time. We were in the far back room that night. It really had a good Ambiance with a lower volume tonight. Candice did a fantastic job and their manager, Bruce helped out by bringing drinks and filling up our water glasses. He also delivered food to us. I forgot to take pictures of the food, so I took a picture of him! They have a new GM, Drew. Big portions, delicious sides, with the protein either adorned with different sauces or just basic, and skinny with no sauce , which makes it perfect because then you could add your own. And the prices... The six we chose from online were $8.79 each... chicken, beef choices. The four salmon meals we added by calling the JTOWN location were $8.69 and $9.69... All salmon meals, very nice portions, one for example, had salmon, sweet potatoes, asparagus, and a little spinach. Please let me know if there is anybody that can beat these prices. And if they could, the personalized wonderful service you get from the owners.... we're sticking there. Because of medical procedure, she brought out to car for us. Others were leaving and speaking to her. Very happy customers. Now you can also order off of their café menu, lots of wraps, burgers, flatbreads, bowls, etc. and a little more pricey. It's a small dime in cafe also. On the go, I can see this cafe menu being a big hit. We however, are purchasing these to bring home and have for dinner at our house. Clean Eatz has been at this location in Jeffersontown for almost a year. I cannot believe I waited this long to find them. Very conveniently positioned in our strip mall with Dollar General and Dollar Tree. So accommodating and remember...
