We went with the Uncle Papi, which can only be described as pizza and a fried chicken sandwich having a beautiful, messy love child. The chicken filet was impressively large, and the Sunday sauce? So good it would absolutely earn a seal of approval from my Italian grandma. The fries were plentiful, and while I regret not testing one of their fun dipping sauces, the house-made blue cheese did not disappoint. We also ordered the Messy Pressy (aka the poutine burger), and it lived up to its name in the best possible way. Delicious, indulgent, and led to a nap on the ride home. The beef is wrapped in a flour tortilla with provolone, creamy horseradish, salt & caraway seeds & finished in a panini press. It comes with chips and a pickle but I upgraded to fries. My choices were straight cut, waffle or sweet potato so I opted for waffle fries. I would definitely order it again. Everyone enjoyed their food, too busy talking to take pics but some of their options were the beer cheddar soup, corned beef quesadilla, burger, chicken sandwich, roast beef on white bread with mashed potatoes & gravy. Their rye bread is baked in-house and you can purchase it just like one of my friends did.
