I haven't been in Nordstrom in a while so I decided to take a look inside yesterday. I was very satisfied with the items I found inside and how clean the store was. My problem was when I went to check out. The one lady saw us standing In line & turned the other way only to help us a few minutes later because she realized no one else was going to ring us up. She didn't even greet us just took our items and put them in the bag. She then asked us if we shop here often & we told her no & she then told us " GOOD, DONT." What is that even suppose to mean? Very rude. I also don't appreciate that they take your email because they say that's how you get your receipt but it's just a way to get emails & notifications from Nordstrom. The items in the store are very appealing & make you want to come back but the customer service needs to be worked on. Not one employee greeted us or said hello. Very disappointing. read more

So yesterday we attempted to go to Nordstrom Rack just to do some light shopping. We checked their store hours on Yelp and both my husband and I saw that they closed @ 9 pm. We get to the store @ 8 pm and they close @ 8 pm apparently on Saturdays. What's up with that? read more

I do love my Nordstrom Rack stores but please follow the hours advertised. I just saw a negative comment saying a store closed an hour early. I noticed someone from Nordstrom advised checking the official website. I did checked yelp and the website both said 9pm but store closed at 8pm. when i feel like to do some shopping, lazy to go anywhere further... i come here... they have a wide range selections of name brand stuff, at pretty reasonable prices!! yeah, you need to be patience and willing to go through racks after racks.... but you can really find some nice stuff sometimes! also sometimes it gets really crowded but they often have more than 5 registers open so the lines go by pretty fast. read more

Store is clean and well stocked. However, virtually every time I shop it's nearly impossible to check out in under 15 minutes. They have remote checkout stations all over the floor that are almost never staffed, and when they are employees seem to find a reason to abandon them and force everyone to the front where there are maybe 2 cashiers. Today, there was a line of 6 - 8 people and 2 cashiers, both of which were handling returns. A third cashier was in the area briefly, but evidently decided to take a break. I left my merchandise and walked out, and not for the first time. Judging from the many comments and apologies from their webmaster, the situation is chronic and not likely to change. read more

What!? No more express checkout without credit card look up! It's so frustrating to get in line just because I refused to carry the Nordstrom credit card in my wallet. I'm trying to reduce the size of my wallet by carry only 1-2 cards. They need to either setup Apple Pay. Master card pay or be able to search for your account like the previous hand held device!!!! read more

I enjoy Nordstrom Rack because I can get designer ties at a great price. From my shirts and belts to my wallet, heck if they get a good shipment a pretty pimped out watch. My wardrobe for work comes from this place. Be patient and leave the family at home. I like to visit when they open on Saturday morning. Awesome shopping experience, always. Came in for a pair of sunglasses and their selection was so great that I spend almost a 1/2 hour deciding which pair to get. Go to the checkout stands in the middle of the store for quicker checkouts. Thank you Nordstrom Rack for always being on point. Come out to this side of town almost every other Sunday to visit family, and we usually almost always stop at this Nordstrom Rack because it's twice the size of the ones on the Westside where we live. They have a lot more selection and you can find all your brand names in stock for sure. The only issue is that Nordstrom prides themselves about customer service and always doing above and beyond to make the customer happy. That has usually been my experience with Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. This store has turned me off to that and is the epitome of poor customer service. The associates are always busy and can't help you on the floor, the cash register girl, Arlene does not know how to smile and when I bought sunglasses she denied me a su glass case due to the fact that there were no more of that same brand. I told her nicely that I will take any brand and that's what other Nordstroms Rack do as courtesy that my sunglasses to not get scratched as that is the sole purpose so I can see out of them. She then said she still couldn't just give me any brand as I asked her if that was her policy, this particular stores policy, or a Nordstrom policy because I am pretty sure I have bought Gucci glasses at the Beverly Hills location and they gave me a Wildfox case. Never had an issue nor did I complain. As long as my glasses didn't get scratched I was fine. Arlene had to proceed to ask accessories and after 5-7 minutes of sitting there I finally got an okay to get a Guess case. This is all I wanted after all that. Anyway, this isn't the first issue my mother and/or I had customer service issues with this particular location. Really great rack. This is def one of the better racks. They get lots of the higher end items and always new things.

Overall, I would say it's a pretty good Rack. I am from Seattle, so they will probably never be as good as the original locations but that's all right. I would say that the denim is the best deal in the store in terms of price. The boys department is quality, the infants is not rock bottom pricing but would be great for gift giving. The handbag department had some good items. Don't go here expecting the Norstroms service we all know and love, uh uh-the floor clerks are there to stock and that's it-you are on your own. But, really who cares if you are just shopping for a bargain anyway, and you don't have to be bothered with questions about your shopping trip. read more

Great experience. I had recently purchased a gift card here and lost it the same night, yes what a bummer. I called customer service to get it blocked this way at least no one would use it. They let me know that they will block the card and that I could actually go back to the store and get it replaced. I thought this was awesome, they are really taking care of their customers. I went into the store today and let the cashier know. She then transferred me to the manager Jessica E. Who was extremely nice and provided me with excellent customer service. I know it's a hassle to deal and look in the system but she was very nice and patient. Great employees and management. Thank you Nordstrom! read more

Poor attitude and not very accommodating. Is it my fault your cashiers don't always put that purchase sticker on the item you purchase & when you try to return/exchange it you can't. There are 2 sets of numbers on the item by then & why doesn't your cash registers pick up both the numbers. Not everyone has a Nordstrom card & I can see why. What if this person purchased the item cash.??? Say you need proof of purchase, it has your Nordstom tag on it!!!! And 2 of them to boot!!! Is there a better Nordstom store out there??? Then, to ask me to obtain the person's credit card number that they used.... REALLY, like they are that stupid to give it to me. This was a gift!!! So now I had to call the person that gave me this gift and appologized that I need to return/exchange it and they will be sending me the receipt. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CASHIERS ALWAYS PUT THAT PURCHASE TAG ON EVERY ITEM SO THAT EVERYONE WILL NOT HAVE TO LOOK LIKE A FOOL!! I went to the rack on Sunday April 30 to return a few items and buy other items. When I got up to the register to return my items I was lectured by the gal at the register about not having the tags on 2 of the shirts I purchased and was returning but I did have the tags in my bag and my receipt. I had taken off the tags the put them on and decided really didn't like them. She proceeded to tell me now we have to look the items up and we don't accept things without the tags but I will do it this time - well thank u for that. I asked I don't understand if I have the tags in the bag and my receipt why r u making such a big deal about it . I have never felt like this at Nordstrom or the rack and I will still shop both places but I will think twice about shopping at the rack in chino hills read more

Pretty good deals. THey bring in new inventory pretty frequently. The only problem I have is that people come out of here too excited about their deals. So they dont watch where they walk and walk into traffic without looking at traffic. I can count more than 10 times where a person almost ran into my car - not my fault. I love Nordstrom Rack. Many selections on high end jeans and purses. Pretty clean, organized and well staffed. During the holidays of course there are a lot of people, best tip is to have someone stand in line for you while you do the shopping. Prices are cheap, much reasonable than outlet prices. read more

This store has some really good sales and the customer service is excellent. Julio (the guy who works in the men's section) is very helpful he will actually help you look for sizes and is very helpful putting together outfits. I rarely get this type of customer service at other stores so I prefer to come shop at this store for clothes. read more

I bought some flip flops from here, but they decided to put a sticker on top of the flip flops so that after I remove the sticker the adhesive is still stuck on there. It's gross because now it's just a square of stickiness that collects dirt. Please don't put adhesives on top of the flip flops. read more

This is not Nordstrom, as I was informed. They do not take returns over so many days. So make sure your sold on whatever you buy. And the girls are not helpful at trying to make your returns easy. They seemingly try and talk you into not returning it. How about talk me into a gift card and be nice and helpful with my return so I will return to buy more items rather than cancel my Nordstrom card because of this is experience. read more

We went on a Sunday and it felt worst than a cheap, unorganized swap meet. Clothes and shoes everywhere and it was SO CROWDED! The one in Riverside is a much nicer size and way better kept.
