This is the worst Nordstrom rack I have ever been to. I ship a lot at Nordstrom and not used to this type of customer service. The manager was rude and basically dismissed my concern. I've been here a few times and usually always walk out with a good find. Visited again last night as I was finishing some final christmas shopping. The line was quite long, as expected since we're about a week away from christmas. However, when I got to the register the lady who helped me made it totally worth it. My Mom and I enjoy shopping here from time to time because of their wide variety of clothes, shoes, and accessories. There are a lot of hidden gems you can find at a great price. I'm only taking one star off from my review because this Nordstrom Rack is disorganized and messy. The staff there seem to be preoccupied with other things rather than tending to clean up store items. And the customers who create such a mess should be responsible to put items back in the correct place out of common courtesy and respect. I can't stand lazy customers. The past three times I've shopped here, I literally almost had to yell at the cashier to begin checking me out, because they kept insisting I re-open my Nordstrom charge or open a new charge account. In each case, I explained to them that I got rid of all credit cards, and now only use my MasterCard, and was able to convince them to complete the checkout. Today, I was not so lucky. The woman checking me out literally refused to take no for an answer, so I simply left the store without checking out. I don't know if they have some kind of contest going, but I won't be back to this store anytime soon. I don't feel I should have to explain myself over an over about how I'd like to spend my money here. And Nordstromrack.com? Forget about it. Chino isn't a place I frequent but I do know they have a Nordstrom Rack and have been coming for quite some time already. I like to go to each one because seriously sometimes they have different things and more variety at certain locations. Parking is super easy and simple and yes you can stay in these stores for hours to find and hunt for something that you might be looking for or if you are just killing time. Got a really nice green jacket for winter here and I love the fit for it. Just great because I get to also save an extra $100.00 off the original price. So it works out for both parties! As far as Nordstrom's racks go I wouldn't say this is my favorite. They are a little smaller than the big ones like Pasadena and Brea (which are my favorites). So when it comes to high end items and designer clearance it's almost non existent. They do have some designer items mixed in but they don't have a dedicated designer clearance area. The store is clean and they are always very helpful. They have a good range of regular items but I like the designer clearance. So for that I will continue to visit Pasadena and Brea ;) read more

I am only giving this location 2 stars because I am impatient and the lines here are redunkulous. All the time. Also it seems to me NR has off-branded stuff that the store Nordstrom doesn't actually carry.. it's a theory but after I bought a couple of sweaters here that fell apart rather quickly, I think I may be on to something there. The real designer stuff, Trina Turk, Calvin Klein, is usually priced too high for all the work it takes to get it here. NOt worth it for me. On the upside, this location has TONS of merch to sift through,a nd does carry Juicy Couture clothing and perfume at deeply discouted prices. I just don't think spending 5 hours to find a discounted T-Shirt and 1 hour in line is worth my precious time. The other severely annoying thing about NR is this "Debit Card" rewards system. I hate when they ask me. And it takes FOREVER when the person in line ahead of you says "Yes", and trust me, they will. I hate rewards cards in general, but this one really takes the cake. read more

I love how you can walk in here and find a variety of high quality, top brand clothing and get away with fantastic deals. Last time I was here I found a CUTE dress for only $15. You need to be in the mood to browse racks, but at least things are sorted by size and sometimes brand. If you need jeans they have awesome finds here often for under $50 for name brands. They fit well! I've bought many. Sometimes you buy something and you don't end up wearing them much, but all the jeans I've bought are in my regular rotation. They are all quite long (I'm 5'4), but I get them hemmed and still save money! Now...on to the shoes!!! I love Nordstrom Rack shoe shopping. I am hooked on boots for Fall and you can find decently priced ones (under $100 at least). Although, I recently splurged on some awesome boots that were about $90. I've been wearing the crap out of them and they always get compliments. I usually splurge on one expensive one each Fall. Good selection of accessories, handbags, makeup, and other beauty items. For the guys, sorry, but your selection is rather limited. You have such a small area on the right, back corner of the store. A lot of men's shoes though. If you're desperate to shop decent brands at decent prices, the Nordstrom Rack is your place! I usually shop at the Costa Mesa Nordstrom but decided to give this a try since I was in the neighborhood. Its really sad to say that the customer service here is subpar for Nordstrom. All the floor teammates act like they hate their lives& don't bother making eye contact or any kind of customer service effort. They pass you like you're not even there& don't bother helping you at the fitting rooms at all. They don't even help you carry the clothes to the fitting room. What a FAIL. The crowds are mixed, some Asians and some Europeans, some ignorant/loud people as well. The clothing and shoes variety are ok, but there's a better/bigger array of choices at the Costa Mesa Nordstrom Rack. This one is the lower end of the Racks.....but a good alternative when you want good brands at decent prices. ;) read more

Your wait time as a walk-in appointment at the DMV can be far less than your wait time in the checkout line at this location. I spent 35 minutes in line with only 7 people ahead of me. My first visit to this store was 20 minutes with 5 people ahead of me. Not sure why the checkout process seems to take much longer than nearby clothing retailers with just as many clientele on a daily basis. read more

Been a shopper of Nordstrom Rack for over a decade and a half now. For my immediate area, I prefer this Nordstrom Rack over the one at the West Covina mall. Deals can be a hit or a miss but I can usually find a few items here during any visit. The trick is, like at Target, try and resist purchasing too many items when you only need an item or two. I was surprised at the brands that they carry and also the selection of clothing and shoes. As with any discounting clothing store, one might have to dig just a little bit more but the prices are totally worth it! They constantly restock and have ever changing selections! Nordstrom rack never fails with the deals in deals. I swear sometimes I feel like they are owned by costco, because Costco keeps thaaaa costtt lowwwww! Anyways! Great selection of clothes and always have 40-60 % off on most items! Like that is unheard of! They have a huge shoe selection too. I tend to always find something in my size. If you are in the market for nice dress shoes, vans, or converses, & nikes, this is the place to go! Great deals and it's very easy on the pockets. This location is one of my favorites out of all that I've been to, the shoe selection is better. I don't usually shop for clothes here, a lot of it isn't my style and in my opinion overpriced. I'm not much of a shopper or bargain hunter so I'm hardly here but since this weekend was so hot and I sweat a grip ...... my sister and her boyfriend told me to check Nordstrom Rack for some Nike DriFit clothes. So what did I do, I went to there! Nothing is more unattractive than when u see some poor dude's sweat stains on his shirt - I mean it's OK if you're at the gym, but if you just walking around somewhere and you're sweating - you don't want your shirt to look like you just went swimming. I usually only go here if I need to buy a gift certificate for my mom and I don't want to go all the way to the mall for a to get one. Also I don't really like searching through a bunch of clothes, so this time was OK since I knew already what I wanted. They had what I wanted and they had my size. The best part was they were marked less than what they sell originally at other stores and when I went to the register to pay, it was marked down even more. Nice! read more

While the stuff they carry might not be current (or the trend of the moment) ... afterall, it is their outlet store ... Nordstrom Rack is the perfect place to get all the classic items that are timeless: premium denim, slacks, undies, black pumps, etc. You can score pretty big! I was in need of jeans since they are my everyday staple. I was looking at ordering some online for full retail but opted to check out the Rack in case I found a bargain. And a bargain I did find. Only Women's clothing available at this store! The store itself is not hard to find, it is located in the Chino Spectrum Area and google map takes you right to the location. It has a private lot and there is ample amount of parking space available. It is pretty organized and kept clean except the shoes section. Sometimes I have been here and it seemed bit messy but I was still able to find stuff easily. I shop my heels from here or DSW shoes only - both of them have great deals and their heels are believe it or not pretty comfy. I found an awesome pair of Jessica Simpson black heels here that now I wear it with everything! I am not a big fan of the clothes selection at this particular store, I have had better luck with the shoes and purses at this location rather than clothes. But then again one needs to actually spend time and LOOK through every rack to find a really good find at any Nordstrom Rack locations. I have and will always get the perfumes from here only - why pay retail prize when I can find my favorite perfume here at a better prize. Whether I buy anything else or not but I will keep on coming back here for great pair of heels and for my regular purchase for perfumes. read more
