The grand opening of Nordstrom Rack was months ago, yet I have not gone. This was a major oversight on my part because this place is greatness! If you dig designer jeans, they have them for cheeeeeeeaaaap! Joes jeans for about $70-80 (regular $150 and up), True Religion, Paige, Seven, Rock and Republic, and a LOT more. DIRT CHEAP compared to how much I normally pay. They also have men's designer jeans as well (Lucky jeans were $40). Not to mention tons of shoes on sale! Who doesn't love a shoe sale?!? AND AND purses marked down to less than $200 from their regular price of $600. I would agree with the other reviewer that the dress selection is small but it is still there...anything from sundresses to work appropriate dresses to formal dresses. Dude, this is your mecca to get cute designer stuff for less cash. Plus you can buy birthday and Christmas gifts for your friends and look like you spent hundreds when you really didn't....but THEY don't have to know that. read more

My first impression was man their clothes are too expensive so I headed back towards the shoes. The SHOES are greatness!! They have the cutest sandals, wedges, tennis shoes, etc. I bought 3 pair of shoes for $93.00. Earlier in the day I'm thinking ok I need to go to Northpark Mall and I'll probably be able to afford 1-2 pairs of shoes for maybe $100.00 so I was super pumped to come across this deal. After paying I thought maybe I should give the clothes a second glance.....and I did and I found 4 cute dresses for $165.00. Come on girls! You know you can't beat that with a stick. Super cute purses as well, perfumes, etc. I did not get to make it to the mens section but I did glance at lingerie which was cute as well. I bought a black tank undergarment for $7 bucks. I love Nordstrom Rack. It's where I get my designer jeans for an awesome price (normally $170-200+). Under 100 dollars. -Joe Jeans -Habitual -Citizens of Humanity -Paper Denim -True Religions -Seven for Mankind (I'm over it) -Rock and Republic (just letting you know they offer them here. Unfortunately, it doesn't agree with my curves) -Diesel (for the guys) -Juicy (not my taste, but for those who are into that sort of thing) If your favorite department is TBD and Savvy, you are going to love it here. They have an enormous selection of shoes. I found pretty cool boots for under 60 dollars (normally $159). It's very well organized, but I wonder how long it will last since they recently opened. I give this place 5 stars because this has always been my destination when I want to update my closet. I had to trek all the way to West Plano for the original Dallas location, but now I'm only 10 minutes away from my mecca. Bottom line: Nordstrom Rack has THE BEST prices for the quality of clothing in town. You can't blame a girl who loves a good bargain. I'm not a huge fan of shopping...especially expensive stuff...but last weekend I went to this place it's like an exepensive and more clean and organized version of a ROSS hahaha~ shows you how much I shop.... I got a pair of Monarchy designer jeans for $80....which retailed at $190 that's more than 50% off I know it's still expensive and it'll probably be worn until it torns but I thought it was worth it b/c it's value...the place is very organized and the people are nice and helpful at the dressing room many sun glasses to choose from as well but I'm pretty done after buying the pair of jeans and couple of shirts for the wife~ the place is nice, clean, well stocked, nice friendly staff....a good 4.5 stars!!! now it'd be 5 stars if the price is even LOWER!!! ha~ read more

This shopping destination knocks my socks off. Literally - with an ongoing selection if shoes marked with discount prices like these, it's a definite possibility that you won't return home with the same socks and shoes as the the ones with which you began. It's shoe heaven. Though, the racks are packed tight with a random variation of clothes that make the sifting harder to zone in one garment or two, the clothes you are looking for see there. This Nordstrom Rack location is super convenient (located in the Shops at Park Lane) & huge. I've been a couple of times & each time, I am almost overwhelmed with options. The racks are stuffed with discounted cuteness & sorted by size. The only downfall for me is the check out. Which, at times, can be quite the process. I've been on multiple occasions when the line is wrapped clear around the store. But, it's all good. Because the shoe department takes the cake for me. Being a *ahem* larger shoe size, my options can be pretty limited at times. But here, I can usually find what I'm looking for at a reasonable price. They have awesome mid-range brands (Free People, Nine West, Lucky, etc) & most of it is in season. Y'know, not your usual sandal markdown in the middle of winter. They don't usually have coupons - so what you see is what you get. But the existing deep discounts make me feel better about my swipin that card. How many ways can you spell overkill? I have been to other Nordstrom Racks in other states, but this location was really packed with racks and racks of mundane items that are tired. I am not thin, but in order to find something that fits here, I say I would have to gain about 30 pounds or grow about 5 inches. The racks and racks of pants were for persons of a much greater girth and stature. I have to say this location of Nordstrom Rack is my second fave of the all of the locations here in DFW. If you haven't been to the one in Southlake, ya need to head out there- much better selection for men. Anyways, I always head here first for designer jeans or nice button downs and the occasional tee. Little too much Ed Hardy, Affliction and DB material for me here, but if you are a fan of Nicole Miller button downs that you can actually wear for the work day, you are in luck. Great selection here for the business guy. I love Joe's Jeans and their availability here is hit or miss, 50/50 either way. In my opinion, I think Mek and TR jeans are overrated and they have a hideous amount of the RocknRepublic jeans, which are always overkill. Prices are not bad, but they never have a kick butt sale like Off 5th does (like buy one get one half off). The GF loves the shoe finds here, but has a hard time finding petite length jeans. Wow - I don't even know where to begin! If I had to describe Nordstrom Rack to someone, I would say it is the most amazing store, aside from Sam Moon, and every woman should visit this store at least once in her lifetime. I had never even heard of NR until recently on one of my regular internet forums. I had asked for advice on finding reasonably priced shoes in larger sizes, particularly a women's 11 and one of the girls said Nordstrom Rack. So, I found the address and printed directions. I don't live in the area but I found Park Lane with no problem. I did, however, have a hard time finding Nordstrom Rack. There are no store signs ( atleast from my direction) posted anywhere. I pulled in near Dicks Sporting Goods to turn around and by accident, found Nordstrom Rack located towards the end. So far, the area was very appealing, clean, and inviting. I think every store has an employee standing outside the store directing cars to the parking garage. Parking was a bit overcrowded but I was able to find a spot. I got out of my truck and was nearly hit by a crazed woman driving a Lexus. I was in the process of getting my infant out of his car seat, but stopped to let her out. I said hi to her and she just gave me a blank stare. Anyway, I got my son and headed towards the elevator. We were greeted by an employee who told us which floor to go to and which floor we were parked on. We entered the NR and it was pure chaos. Women were going nuts over this place. It was pretty crowded, but that's a given for any store on a Saturday afternoon. I immediately saw the shoe section towards the back so I headed in that direction. I normally never find a women's 11 in stores and was surprised to see almost 2 full walls of size 11's. I'm pretty picky but finally found a size 11 Chinese Laundry Black Pump for my new job. The price was marked down from 59.00 to 29.00. By this time, my son was getting fussy, so I knew it was time to go. At the checkout line, there is an employee directed shoppers where to go. I was immediately directed to a cashier. I didn't catch his name, but he was very nice. He asked if I had trouble finding anything and I mentioned I was looking for a Jessica Simpson Pump but couldn't find it. The cashier next to him told me they just received a full load of JS shoes last night. I informed her that I have a large foot and they probably didn't get any in my size. She agreed that she has big feet too and apologized that they didn't have the shoe I wanted. MY cashier insisted on calling the NR in Plano to check on the shoe. He called, and found out that the other location does have it. I was very impressed with my trip to NR. All of the employess are very friendly and helpful. I also ran into some very nice shoppers but there are also many snooty shoppers ( including the parking lot woman, who apparently thinks everything will run out before she gets to the store) who have no decency or courtesy for anyone else around them. I was able to briefly browse through the women's clothing. They have a large selection of Juniors, women's and just a few plus sizes. Prices do vary. I saw some items for as low as 21.99 but hundreds for higher end designer items. Either way, there are definitely good deals to be had. A couple hundred can be a steal for some when the original price was in the thousands. I gave NR a 5 star rating because it is truly an amazing store despite some of the shoppers who don't know any better. I plan on visiting the Plano location tomorrow for my JS shoes. And I don't think I mentioned the fact that the entire back of the store is filled with nothing but SHOES!! It took me a few years to really get a liking to Nordstrom Rack, perhaps my tastes have changed or I've been having really good luck finding items at incredible prices. Regardless of what it is, I find myself at Nordstrom Rack at least once a week even if it's just to walk around and kill some time. This place gets crowded on the weekends so I suggest coming here early in the day (weekday) or later in the afternoon (6-7pm, again weekday). Don't be put off by the long checkout line, it goes by extremely fast and there's cool little travel friendly makeup right next to you as you wait to leave. (I would be lying if I said this hasn't gotten me to buy something I wasn't planning on..) Great location for a Nordstrom Rack - It's in the heart of Dallas and near everything you want (Whole Foods, various boutiques, Northpark Mall across the highway if you can't find what you need). It's a little smaller than other Nordstrom Racks I've been at, and a little bit of a smaller selection, but it still has the basics of what most people need. Super friendly and speedy checkout service - I came on a Thursday afternoon, and the line was pretty long, but it moved quickly. One thing to note - They do not hold items for you! Much like its Plano location, this Nordstrom Rack is dangerous for me to walk into. I always find something I have to have. I stay away from the clothing still, but make a beeline for the shoes. All Rack stores should have a shoe department like this one does. All the shoes are boxed, so there is never a problem with disorganization. Never has a retail establishment been more deserving of zero stars than Nordstoms Rack. My daughter, an above knee amputee, visited the Park Lane outlet yesterday and asked for the key to the handicapped dressing room to try on jeans. The salesperson refused and told her the room was reserved for "moms with strollers", despite the very evident handicapped sign on the dressing room door. Love this place! I especially like this location as I feel they tend to have better selections than the others. Staff has always been very helpful and accommodating. I love that if you're paying with a credit card, you can grab any staff member and they can ring you up on the spot. It makes it easier to get checked out. Great for shoes and jeans especially. I will typically find good deals in their clearance racks as well. It's really hard for me to go in there and not find a cart full of things that I want. This is definitely my go-to store & this location seems to be way better than the others. Also, right now they're having an extra 25% off clearance items AND most of the shoes were more discounted as well :) this place is clean, organized, and stocked! The workers are very nice and don't mind lending a helping hand. my boyfriend got a pair of Cole Haan dress boots for $129 (originally $200) and Lucky brand jeans for $40 (originally $120) -- GOOD DEALS. Also some button up shirts for work. I got a few shirts & Steve Madden wedges! Because they didn't have my size, the associate who was helping us explained that I could have a BRAND NEW pair shipped to my house :) so I did just that. When we checked out, the cashier also helped us set up a rewards card acct. We spent $300ish together which isn't bad at all since we got several name brand items. read more

I keep going back for more. I do like Nordstroms off the rack. I feel like I am always finding a deal. Finding is the key word, prepare for at least one hour to really tackle this store. Two if you get some goods. Great selection of shoes. I especially love the dresses department. I just bought myself a classic designer black blazer for 75% less than the original price. A comment on the service: The blazer was tossed clumsily into a plastic bag and not tissue wrapped as it would have been before reduced to a mark down store. Even with its new low price of $150 it would have been nice if the cashier would have shown some considertation, seriously a sleeve hung outside the bag as she handed it to me. Not to mention the fitting room girls never seem happy to help you sort through the pile of clothes you have brought back. I placed an online order on July 24, 2021 and still have not received the merchandise. I live in Dallas and am only about 10 miles from the store. Their shipper is LSO, which if I had known that I would have never placed the order. My son used to work at this company and has many horror stories of their business practices and lack of ethics. The shipper said they couldn't access my property even though their is no gate, wall or any pets. Now Nordstrom Rack expects me to track down the package myself. LSO only puts you in a phone cue or calls you back and then plays "Hold" music until they close for the day. Nordstrom will not refund my order until LSO has made 2 more attempts at delivery. They also said I have to wait until Aug 17th to begin the refund process. Amazon is not a perfect company but at least when I have shipping difficulties they take care of it. I will NEVER buy from NORDSTROM/NORDSTROM RACK again. Had they made it obvious I could pick the items up at the store I would have!!! I advise everyone to stay away from this company and any others that use LSO for their shipping. Their shipping prices are low but the service is NONEXISTANT. Already been on hold for another 22 minutes. Yesterday it was 33 minutes. BUYERS BEWARE!! read more

After a lovely happy hour session with some close friends I stopped by the grand opening of this Nordstrom Rack. We got there at about 8:20 PM (they closed at 9) so the crowd wasn't as massive. The greeter must have either thought we were 'below' Nordstrom Rack standards or smelled the one too many mojitios I had because he did not greet us nor pass us these brochures he was giving to everyone else. Whatever, that's no biggie. Considering it was their grand opening the store was very organized and neat, I had no problem navigating my way and finding what I needed: shoes! Their shoe selection is bigger than the Preston location but less in the designer shoes for women. I agree with Jill P. that there weren't enough dresses, I think there was 1-2 small racks for the junior section and 2-3 for the women. I had a load of things I needed to try on but saw how long the line was for the fitting room so I said goodbye to my could have been things and decided it would be best to come another day. The line for the ladies were so long they started asking people to try on their clothes in the men's room. I left at about 8:55 PM and there was still a really long line to check out and to try on so I'm glad I didn't go through with that. Overall, I do like this location better than the Preston one and it's much closer to me but I wasn't overly impressed. read more

Love this place! It's hit or miss, but usually a hit! The store tends to be pretty well organized and clean, relative to other "discount-style" stores I've been to. The merchandise feels in-season, and the discounts I've found are pretty steep relative to the item's original price. People who know me know how much of a big Ben Sherman freak I am. Nordstrom Rack generally has a good amount of Ben Sherman clothing. I find myself going there very often to see what new things have come in. Unfortunately, They no longer put all the Ben Sherman in one area. Apparently, their upper management decided to spread it out so a person would have to look over the sum of 16-19 racks to try and find something. This disappointed me a bit but I was fine with it.. At least they carry Ben Sherman I said to myself. After going through rack # 7... Maybe #8 (I'm not sure I lost count) I find this cool black button down from the brand i dig as much as I do. Only problem is the collar stabilizers weren't both in the collar. These pieces to the collar were kind of essential to the shirt. I look around the same rack to see if I can find another one. No deal. A salesperson comes up to me and asks me if everything is okay. I tell him my concerns about the shirt. I'd really like to buy it but if the pieces weren't in the shirt then I didn't care to pay full price for that. He then contacts a manager ( This Manager was somewhat polite but had a attitude on her I couldn't quite put my finger on.) I voice my concern to her about the Ben Sherman shirt, But she doesn't get the idea. So i ask the both of them. How much do you guys know about Ben Sherman and their lines. Both reply "Not much" After explaining to them it still didn't make any difference. The manager did say I'll get those pieces for you to complete your shirt and I'll call you. I ask her a time frame.. and she says about a week. But I have to buy the shirt at full price which I was fine with doing that.. As long as the shirt was going to be complete. She gets my name and number and says she'll call me. Now, Normally when I hear promises like this from a retail outlet.. I get VERY wary due to the fact that every time I deal with this, I get stung.. I even expressed my concerned which she then interrupted me to tell me she was the manager and that she was a woman of her word. So far it's been about a week and a half.. I haven't heard anything from the manager. You can bank if I don't hear back I'll be calling her... And chances are this review might even go down a star or two depending on how they handle this situation. I should point out that this was at the PLANO location. read more

My wife and I stopped by on our way home to buy some perfumes for her. We got in line to pay. She wanted to pick up another bottle. The prices were very reasonable. The cashier stated we can leave the bottles with her and just come back when we're done. When we came back to the register, she advised us we have to get back in line since there's a line of about 15 people now. Calmly as possible, I asked her why since we were just in line and she told us just to come back when we're ready. Again, she stated there's a line now so we have to get back in line again. I asked to speak with the manager. Didn't realized he was standing next to us the whole time. He offered no help at all. One of the worse customer service experience ever at Nordstrom. Love the selection and the prices! The Rack had great deals year round, designer stuff at not designer prices. Now, I love a great deal, but there are certainly days where this place can be a zoo. Typically, it's a little more clam during the week, and during the weekend it gets nuts and clothes, shoes, etc., all get scattered around and you really need to dig deep to find some great deals. If you get the emails, then you can also be notified of upcoming sales. Great place, if you need some new clothes, want to dress to impress, you'll surely find plenty here! read more

I always find at least three items I want to leave with (shoes/accessories/dress/etc). They bring the designer names, and the quality is good. Some areas are more organized than others (whether or not you'll have to do a little digging depends on what you're looking for). The purse section lacks but the sunglass section more than makes up for it - tons of designer frames. The shoe section is decent, the home accessories section has very few options, but the clothes make up for it. The staff are friendly enough, and the store is spacious enough that you aren't constantly bumping into others. Go for it. read more

I love deals. LOVE them! And this Nordstrom Rack delivers, in both the men's and women's sections. If you can figure out the layout of everything, you can get over the relative level of disarray within the racks. As usual, the women's section seems to be more frequented and is thus more disorganized than the men's, but the workers do a good job of resorting at least to the correct racks. I pretty much only come here for half price designer jeans, ben sherman and jon varvatos menswear, and to waste time perusing their large shoe selection. If you need a cheap slip, this is probably also a great spot to nab one. They do have a small selection of towels, perfume, sunglasses, and bags, but not a ton. The seamstress/tailor is located in the dressing room area, and for $14 you can get anything hemmed (even if you didn't buy it there). Turnaround of a week, which is obviously slower than you can get at other locations, but the work done here is solid, and you can get your pants marked for hemming before buying them so you can do it all in one transaction instead of having to make a separate trip to your dry cleaners. There are a few parking spaces out front on the street but your best bet is to park in the garage and walk down the stairs or take the elevator. read more
