I forgot how much i love nordstrom rack!! Their prices are so nice because they are discounted when you can find the same items fully priced at a regular nordstroms. The store is so big and sometimes it is a little messy. The staff also don't offer assistance, even in the dressing room. Otherwise, they have very cute name brand and non name brand items. They have so many things from clothes for men, women and kids, to candles, purses, jewelry, shoes, kids toys, sunglasses, fragrances, swim, luggage and so much more! I wish there was a nordstrom rack closer to my house. I have to drive 30mins to get to this location. read more

My wife and I had a horrible experience when we came in a few days ago. Everything went well until we went to go pay and the girl behind the register "Carolina" gave us the worst service. Before we walked up she was gossiping about the women she had just helped infront of us. When it was our turn she gave us a terrible aggressive attitude. My wife asked her for a gift receipt and she just ignored her and when she asked again she cut her off with "yea I got it!" I kindly asked for a manager and she just walked away after giving us a receipt. To make matters worse she left the censor on my pants and they made the alarm go off and so she snatched the bag back to take it off. Don't hire people that don't like people!!! read more

I have to agree with the previous reviewers on some point. This nordstrom rack lacks variety of designer brands. Sometimes I feel like I can get better designer items at TJmaxx. I come back 2 months later and I see a lot of the same clothes on the clearance rack. I don't see good rotation of new items here. Then again nordstrom rack does have good return policy. One of the best Nordstrom Rack locations in the South Bay. I would say is has the best selection of merchandise and a good variety of styles and sizes. I like the location because it's not connected to an indoor mall. You can easily park out front and just walk in. There are some other cool store and restaurants nearby. It always smells good and is clean. read more

This store is always crowded and the lines to checkout are long, as well. Luckily, they have an express checkout, which is located on the opposite side of the store than the regular checkout. For those of you who have never been in a Nordstrom Rack, they carry the out of season, overstock merchandise from the regular Nordstrom store. The store carries a huge amount of merchandise for both men and women, including sunglasses, handbags, jewelry, shoes, and clothes. Items are less expensive, however, not cheap. For example, the designer sunglasses on sale in the lower range still cost over $100. The cost of a lower range pair of shoes is $50, but they do carry a large selection and in a wide range of sizes. I have always been a fan of Nordstrom because the quality of the products is durable. I have received many gifts from there but if I change them then I always pay a difference until I found Nordstrom Rack. They accept the Nordstrom gifts cards and the pricing is discounted to over a half from Nordstrom. I came in to Nordstrom Rack to return a dress I had bought a few month ago and buy a pair of shoes for my son. They have a new return policy and will accept return up to 90 days from the purchase date. I found the perfect pair that was sketchers brand for $15. I don't think I can buy that same pair at sketchers for that price there. They always have new shipments of purses available so I always have to check out that section. I bought a MK purse there valued at $350 for only $119. I found dresses that matched for my daughter and I there as well. I would highly recommend the Rack. You will find almost everything your looking for discounted. read more

I called customer service and they informed me my order was delivered on the 10th and 13th of April. However Silvia told me it was not even shipped yet. This is ridiculous to be honest. It's been some time since the last time I was here, I've been traveling a lot so coming back here was once again a bad experience, I had to step out of the store to make sure this is a Nordstrom affiliated store and not a Ross, considering it looks like one from the inside. I really don't understand how they can leave a fitting room so messy throughout the day and not even think of picking up the mess, if the men's fitting room looks this bad I can't imagine how the women's side looks. While these employees are too busy talking in that back area they are not taking initiative on doing something that would make a customer feel like this establishment is always on top of things, but I guess they cannot find any employees who do a superb job and keeping a fitting room look nice and clean for the next person that comes in to try on an outfit. Be very careful to check your receipts before you leave the store or cut off the tags. Nordstrom Rack charged me the original price on a dress that was marked down for clearance. I bought a lot of clothing and did not review the receipt until I decided to return a sweater. Unfortunately, I cut the tag off and threw it away, so the story could do nothing for me. I told the store manager what happened and suggested that employees match the tag with the charge on the cash register. That would be good customer service! The manager told me this happens a lot because prices change frequently! After years of shopping at this store, I decided to buy the rest of my summer wardrobe elsewhere. read more

It's hit and miss at this shop. Sometimes things are clean and organized and other times, I walk in , turn around and walk back out. I'm not a fan of chaotic shopping experiences and will avoid them at all costs. I don't care if it's a great deal or not. I'd rather shop online and pay their $7 flat fee delivery. The lines at the store can also get very long and go to the end of the store. I have noticed that they opened smaller checkout stands at each side of the store. When these are opened , the main line is smaller and you can get out of there faster. Best bet, go early before the store is in shambles and busy. read more

I love this little fashion spot! It's located in a little shopping strip on Hawthorne Blvd in between 182 nd & Artesia Blvd next to the galleria mall. It shares a parking lot with Panera, sprouts, living spaces, etc.. so you might have a little lot from your car to the store! It's clean inside, and very organized. To the right of the doors when you first walk in is the designer purses, hand bags, purses, and carry ons. In front of you all their designer sunglasses. The further down you walk you get into beauty & accessories. But to the left is clothing. Men's, women's, & children. I just love how it's strategically placed so you can find whatever you need! The shoes are always priced well! I picked out a pair of tommy hilfinger shoes for $30 & a Steve madden weekend bag for $39. You can't go wrong with this place. The store is very well kept, and clean. The staff is so friendly! They have multiple registers open. It's not like Ross where you have this long line. If you're into designer fashion on a low budget this is the place to be. read more

I eff'in love this place...I've become one hell of a clothes shopper in the last few years, now that I'm happier with my fitness and appearance...I've tuned over my entire wardrobe. What I cannot justify spending full price for at Nordstrom's I can gladly get for over 40% off at the Rack. Selection can be limited...but if you look hard enough, you'll find what you want. Plenty of top designers so lots to choose from. Clean and spacious fitting rooms. Happy and mostly attentive staff (see the lime green shirts). Sales and specials ALL the time...so never NOT a reason to buy that new shirt, blazer, or shoes. I usually hate these types of stores - Ross, Loehmann's, Marshall's - and think that it's worth it to pay extra to go to the "real" department store instead. You may argue that Nordstrom Rack is a step above those I listed above, and well, this one is in a different league entirely. But based on my experiences at *other* Nordstrom racks, they generally don't belong in a higher category at all. The first thing that is different about this location is that it is ORGANIZED. You don't get a headache sorting through racks of jumbled of clothing. It is organized just as a regular Nordstrom would be.. by category, then by designer, etc. And it doesn't feel like everything is from 2 years ago... they have very current stuff, I'd argue to say some of it the same as in the regular Nordstrom but at much lower prices. Jeans for example - Seven, Hudson, etc - can all be found here. Also the check-out line moves really fast. I've gone a few times over the past couple of weeks (ever since I discovered it I'm there all the time) and even though the line is really long for the holiday season, you are never in it for more than a few minutes. The dressing room is really large so you don't have to wait in line to go in, and they let you take in a lot of items at once (I think I saw numbers going up to 14, and they might go even higher). Parking is a breeze at this new plaza.. spots right in front of the store. I would highly recommend going here before going to the full-priced Nordstrom across the street.. they just might have what you are looking for at a much more reasonable price. read more

I love this spot. Right next to Sprouts makes it convenient to pop in and not go out of your way. They get great Tommy Bahama luggage and shoes. I needed some comfortable shoes for a new job. So I dashed into my favorite Nordstrom Rack off Hawthorne Blvd in Redondo Beach. Right down from the Southbay Galleria mall. Settled on a simple pair of soft leather Kenneth Cole slip on loafers. When I got them home, I realized the little security tracker thingy was still on my shoe. I can't get it off, the store is now closed and I need to wear the shoes before NR opens tomorrow. Not to mention, I don't want to drive back over there to have them remove this thing from my shoe. So, this is an inconvenience I couldn't have expected. I'm supposed to work 12 hour days. Comfortable shoes are important. Apparently my cashier missed it this time. But usually my experience at this NR is good. I will still shop here. But next time, I will look through my items to make sure these devices are all removed. (I did get a good deal on the shoes, though. About half off retail.) The owner of NR did reach out to me. I appreciate that. read more

I have been going to this store for years. I love the quality and the prices they offer. What I don't love is witnessing associates or cashiers make fun and laugh at customers behind their back. I experienced three instances of outstanding service here today. First of all, I hate shopping. I prefer doing all of it online, so having the experience that I had today was really fulfilling. 1. I was way in the back in the shoe department. I found quite a few things and I asked an associate of the shoes I chose could be held up front while I shopped. She said that she could bring me a cart. I didn't even know they had carts. She went all the way to the front of the store and brought a cart for me to use. 2. I found these great pants in the wrong size. They were on clearance so I didn't see any others. Another associate stopped what she was doing and looked up the available sizes. They didn't have any, but it's awesome that she looked it up for me. 3. After all that shopping I was thirsty so I bought a water from the cooler near check out. I forgot the water and the cashier brought it out to me. She actual left the store to find me and bring me my water. The only negative thing about the store is that there are a lot of things in the wrong place when it comes to sizes, but that's more likely at the fault of inconsiderate customers. Bummed. I went to Nordstrom Rack to buy a Matt & Nat Designer Vegan leather purse(not made from animal) and they stopped carrying them in their store. This was the last straw! I'm boycotting them! They stopped carrying my favorite cruelty free Vegan purses and still sell clothes and accessories with animal fur on them! I can no longer support Nordstrom's lack of ethics! Awesome selections especially for men! I hardly ever shop here for my clothes but I come here mostly for my boyfriend and/or my dad&brother. They have a huge selection of really nice button up shirts for casual wear. Brands like Vince., Marc Jacobs, Theory and Scotch & Soda and more. Theyre all priced very reasonably costing about $100 or less. That's a bargain for these brand names I guess. Also they have a lot of colognes. Ive been to other Nordstrom Rack and they werr always out of certain colognes I wanted to get but this location never runs out. Maybe no one buys it here, who knows! Womens' handbag section is chaos. Not much to look and shop for. They hardly ever carry any clutches but all hobos and plastic clear looking bags. They do have lots of shoes to choose from especially during winter, their boots section is definitely worth coming for. Most of the workers are very helpful and nice but some are very snobby and ignore you when theyre 'busy'. read more

Well where to begin with this store I was disappointed the moment I walked in i wasn't greeted by any of the employees they looked at me as if I was lost. I understand that not many Latinos shop at these "high end stores" which is why the employees gave me the stare the moment I walked in. After shopping for for 20 minutes I decided to get in line and pay for my stuff the cashier ringed me up, and that's when I requested a box for my Versace sunglass. Another cashier notice that I was never charge for Versace glasses, but Instead I was charge for some Betsy Johnson glasses she automatically assume I change the tag on the glasses. I never in my life have experience racial profiling, and I was a bit confused about what was going on, but just from their body language I knew something was up. They made me wait on the side for over 20 minutes while one of the employees went looking for a box for my glasses. She took the glasses with her after I had already paid for them to switch the price from the original price being 87$ to a 168$ tag. They made me return my items and the cashier ringed me up again and at that point I was annoyed and felt very uncomfortable and I decided not to purchase the glasses and went home. I didn't make a big deal at the store I called the director of that store and explained to her my shopping experience at this store. All I asked for was to get a personal apology form the employees, but she never got back to me and at this point I'm going to seek legal action because nobody deserves to be treated like this with everything happening with government this makes me sick. This Nordstroms Rack is HEAPS better than the Howard Hughes (soon to be Fox Hills - we'll see if they improve after the move) location. Every time I come here, I find a great selection of things that fit and flatter. They have a well-stocked lingerie section, specifically, which is great. They carry Panache/Freya/etc that make E-K sizing, which is really hard to find here in the US. This location always has a good amount of those sizes available and a decent selection of them on clearance as well! They have more exercise wear than most of the locations i've frequented and a good sized men's department as well. Staff is always friendly and helpful at every Rack i've been to, but the employees at this one often seem to go above and beyond the norm to be helpful to me. I'm happy to spend hours here because the shopping experience is just that pleasant... and i am by no means a person who enjoy shopping for clothes! read more

I think I finally give up on this Nordstrom Rack today. I spent 40mins in line just to return one pair of shoes. It was yesterday, a Sunday and it was understandable but like always at this location...not enough coverage. The lady was very "done for the day" which I can tell she was because thats how she acted towards me anyways. I work in retail as a manager as well so I definitely understand but I try my best not to show my feelings like that towards a guest. I had everything ready like the shoes I wanted to return, I had my receipt off of my phone opened from my email and zoomed in for her and ready to go, and I had my Nordstrom Credit Card just incase she needed it. I was READY as a guest for the employee because I know what it is like when a customer wants to do things like returns/purchases and they dont have everything ready at all. so it causes to make the line even longer and other customers become more impatient. So she just took my shoes, took my phone and said it would go back on my Nordstrom card (automatically). So I still had my card in my hand and was gonna put away in my wallet when she said that and shes like "we dont need your card ok..." and I wanted to say something to her like "well I know that now, I brought it out just INCASE because Im prepared and dont want to hold up the line even more if you did need it!" I didnt like her tone to be honest and it was a very simple return..so i dont know where her atitude was coming from but i literally had my card cuffed in my hand so I didnt even show it to her when she said that. Every store/company is different for returns, some ask for your card (like mine) and some give it automatically..so I was just being prepared as a guest -just incase- I didnt say anythinf besides that and I was going to say why i brought it out but i decided to give her some respect since she was having some kind of day but Ive interacted with her before and shes always feeling that type of way. Whatever it is, she needs to stay off the registers then. Also they need to be able to do returns at the express checkouts. standing in line for 40ins to do a return is ridiculous but I remember months ago when I tried- the cashier didnt want to but did it anyways because I was buying something in exchange for it. This location, I gave it a chance time and time again. My money is being spent all the time at this company as a whole. I live 5mins away but NOW I am willing to not go anymore and go to different location 30mins away just because of this store in general. Bought shoes online with a gift card and visa gift card, went into the store to return them, they refunded the amount back to the original form, I no longer had my visa gift card and Nordstrom's told me oops they couldn't do anything about it and to call visa gift card with the last four digits like I'm going to be able to get my money back. I told them this wasn't going to work but they insisted it would. Sure enough, it didn't work and they refused to refund me my $50. So Nordstrom's just stole $50 from me. Funny thing is people shop at Nordstrom's for their superior customer service. Now noted that this top of the line customer service does not extend to their RACK stores. Bottom Line: Adriana is AMAZING! I am literally walking out of the store and typing this review at the same time; I simply could not wait to write this! My friend and I were actually on the way out of the store, when a Michael Kors watch caught my friend's eye. The employee that was holding it was Adriana, and she kindly let us know that the exact watch was on hold for another customer, but she lead us over to the watch counter to show us the wide selection of beautiful Kors watches. My friend fell in love with this chocolate tone watch, but right before we were going to finish our transaction, Adriana inspected the watch and noticed scratches on it -- a lot! She let us know that the watch was in an unacceptable condition and that she couldn't sell it to her. Of course, my friend was really bummed, but appreciated the fact that Adriana was honest enough to let us know that the watch wasn't in mint condition. I love when sales people aren't just hungry for a sale, and actually care about their customer's satisfaction. Not only did she save my friend from wasting her money on a messed up watch, but she also took time to call another Nordstrom Rack and arrange for us to pick up the same style watch from their location. We didn't even ask for her to do that too, she just offered right after breaking the bad news to us. I'm so glad that there are some sales people out there who actually care about customers. SO. i come here every time i have an open time slot before classes or in between breaks! they don't have ANY nice sunglasses!!! I need at least 2 hours three tops to browse and i usually hit the shoe racks first!!!! i AM an ultimate shoe collector, NOT a shoe-a-holic. yes there's a difference, i BUY TONS of shoes but hardly' wear them.... ;/ sad for them, i know!!! i have shoes everywhere in my room, beneath my bed, an entire shoe rack on my door, in my closet, outside my room, someone can seriously shop in my room for shoes!!! SO The last thing i needed were more shoes, (refer to photo i posted) i love BOOTS over all other types of shoes! i feel they are casual yet sexy, can be worn however u please!! and let's face it, they give me more support than stilettos that's for darn sure!! i bought 3 pairs of "Boutique 9" boots for a total of $230- they were originally priced at well over $220+ individually!!! and a cute cardigan for $50- Reason why i knocked off 2 stars is cause of the lack of variety, i am a size 6.5 and THERE are very few cute shoes in my size!!! so when i find something cute, i try it on once, if it's a go, then it's comin' home with me w/ no second thoughts!! there are lots of cute shoes in the larger sizes, 8,9,11 etc.. more choices to choose from, so if you have larger feet, than this Nordy location suits u! I love nordstrom rack! Sometimes you find the most perfect pair of shoes, or the perfect blouse, and sometimes you walk away empty handed. I can spend hours in here searching through racks of clothes. Seriously every girls heaven. Then employees aren't as nice as when you visit a Nordstrom but who am I to judge? They probably have to keep hanging up clothes that shoppers leave around the store. I love their accessories section. I actually found a super cute mk watch for half the price. Worse location! I literally just left another Nordstrom's rack before coming here where i purchased 3 Gucci items. I went to the designer case, said what wanted and asked them to hold it while I continued shopping. They gladly did it. When I came to this location, then got the shoes, found me in the store while I was shopping and told me I had to purchase them on the spot. I told them to hold it at the front and the girl who was helping said she couldn't but she could ring me up for them right there and I didn't have to stand in line. I told her I wanted everything on the same transaction and Guaranteed her when I get up there I'm going to purchase them. She said well if I wasn't ready couldn't hold them and got the manager to ring me up. So he found me in the store and tried to explain it saying that was the policy, which I know it's not because I literally just left from one store to another. Receipts are time stamped! He said because it's a large purchase item. The shoes were $200. That's not a large purchase. My entire transaction there would have exceeded well over $200 by the time I was finished. At the other store I spent 8x that ! I was basically rushed into making the purchase and decided I'd just get the shoes and put everything else back that I was going to purchase since they wanted to be so petty! If this is what Nordstrom's stand for its pretty absurd to tell me that you rather me purchase one item then purchasing several and potentially making more money than for me to get mad and buy one item and now not wanna go back. Doesn't make sense to me. Especially during a depression where stores are closing left and right and begging for people to come buy thing. I'll never be back. This is two strikes for Nordstrom's rack. We know the rest.
