Ehhhhh (bordering on meeehhh). I'm still a little on the fence with Nordstrom Rack. I did pick up a few cute things today -some quality Puma athletic socks for $5, and a few cute Nike workout tanks, but I still think a lot of their stuff is really expensive and isn't even that stylish or unique. I was appalled pulling out some pretty ordinary stuff and they wanted $90, $150 etc. for it. Admittedly I'm not knocked out by designer names. My fashion philosophy is "the look for less." -And I have very edgy fashion sensibility as compared to most people. Is $250 knocked down from $500 a great deal....well, sort of. But I wouldn't pay $500 nor $250 for something in the first place when I can look super trendy for $50. That's just me. If you are really into labels, this is your place. If you are creative and cheap like me, and can rock a $10 tank top and look like a celebrity, then I suggest the vast other options that are starting to compete for "runway worthy" looks with quality construction such as JC Penney, Target etc. read more

Your best bets for finding good deals here are the shoe racks (left-hand side of the store), the dress racks (right-hand side of the store), and the racks for specific designers (e.g. Vince, Tory Burch, Juicy Couture, and Theory are some of my favorites - those designers are hard to find on sale, but this location typically has plenty of options in stock). In my opinion, you will have less luck if you're just browsing generic racks labeled "sweaters" or "blouses." I suggest flicking through a few pages on Nordstrom.com, figuring out which designers you really like, and trying to find racks for those designers at this store. It's a good way to make sure you get the highest quality items for the best price! And as others have mentioned, you can take 15 items into the dressing room at a time, so definitely take advantage of that! read more

I just went to Nordstrom Rack for the very first time the other day. Why in the world did it take this long?? I am not a huge fan of "discount" type stores as I don't enjoy sifting through clothing. However, Nordstrom Rack is so organized and neatly set up that it didn't feel like a discount store. They carry many of the same name brands that are in a typical Nordstrom. I mainly went to look at the jeans. I love the fit of designer jeans but I don't like the designer price tag. They had the usual Joe's Jeans, 7 for all mankind, Hudsons, etc. Everything was neatly organized by size so finding the right pair was easy peasy. I also liked their shoe system. Only one shoe of a pair is on the shelves and if you are interested, you go to the shoe mate counter to get the other shoe. Made things a lot neater and more organized. They also had a wide selection of top brand perfumes...tons of undergarmets...tons of jewelery....tons of everything. Prices can still be a bit high but they are pretty discounted compared to Nordstrom. read more

Needs more staff checking out and in the shoe pair area. difficult to bring kids here to shop because you go from one line to another and they loose patience. Like the ease of the checkout/price correction process, it makes shopping here easier. Average experience while shopping. read more

Terrible restrooms! 3 of the 4 regular stalls either had no toilet paper or dirty seats or both. One looked like someome took a #2 while squatting and it was blasted all over the back of the toilet seat. Ugh! The 4th stall I went into finally had tp but it was installed at an angle and couldn't roll. Luckily there was a random half roll around..hope it wasn't too dirty. Bleech. The rest of the store is ok. Typical nordstrom rack. Some good deals but definitely a lot of used/returned items. read more

It's always somewhat of a cluster to find stuff here, but when you do they are gems and deals are to be had. But give yourself some time because the Rack requires patience, and getting out fast is rarely an option. read more

While there are good things to be found here, I tend to have better luck at TJ's or Marshalls. Jeans are never in my size, and other things are generally overpriced (as opposed to eBay, for example). I think my best score here was a pair of SmartWool hiking socks, haha. Other than that, I can't remember ever buying anything great at this store. read more

I honestly don't even know where to begin on this location. I'm an avid shopper of NR for a long time and having said that, I had been going in here for years too. Selections are okay, not that much variety though for this is a small location compared to NR's in the city. So if you're looking for something specific, you might wanna save yourself from driving here. Outside is clean yet occasionally there's weird bystanders who solicits for money. When you get inside the store; untidy, clutter, fitting rooms has so much clothes that needs to be put away, endless cups of Starbucks and whatnot around and don't even get me started on the shoe section. Bathroom is a hit or miss, there are times toilet papers are on the floor (clean & used) and other times its clean. Now let's talk about customer service. I have never ever went in any NR that has snotty, rude and intimidating sales associates especially the ones on the floor. You ask if they can check you out because you only have 2 items and the line is crazy long and they tell you staright up no and continue putting away clothes and does not even look at you. Small European lady, short blonde hair who seems like she hates working there and just wanted to get it over with. Poor customer service that it makes me think that NR has a low standard when it comes hiring people. Lines are always long and only few cashiers open. If you only have 1 or 2 items, forget it. Sometimes I don't wanna ask questions or help from the sales associates. They're horrible, honestly. So whenever I'm around the area, I really try my best not to stop by since it just always disappoints me on how I was and will be treated in here. read more

For Serious Shoppers Only! The men's shoe selection is pretty sweet but you really have to hunt down the perfect pair before someone else grabs 'em. Sometimes I've left empty handed but it's no big deal because I always keep coming back to find the best deal on clothes and shoes. read more

2 stars for the women's shoe section. Never in my life have I seen a more disorganized shoe section at a Nordstrom Rack. It smelled like feet and the flow of sizes were completely off. Maybe they were remodeling but, I won't be going back to find out for sure. read more

Went today to find the perfect dress and ended up with 4!! My only complaints were the foreign speaking staff member when I asked a question she didn't understand me. The other 2 staff members in the dressing room were very rude and also spoke very little English. I could just tell they would've rather have been home. The checkout clerk was nice and informative about returns-keep your receipts! read more

This was my first time at this location. I was amazed at how clean and well organized it was. That is, until I went to the women's restroom at about 3:20 on Friday afternoon. It was absolutely disgusting. The garbage bin was overflowing, there was toilet paper everywhere and there were feminine hygiene products on the floor. I don't think it was going to be cleaned any time soon since the cleaning person was standing in the back corner...talking on her cell phone. It was disappointing to see that. I was in there for about 5 minutes and she wasn't showing any signs of hanging up on her phone call. I might return to shop there, but I will make sure that I use another restroom before I get there. read more

I think it may be worth going on a weekday- for something like coats etc. I definitely dont recommend going if you are looking for something specific. Not a huge purse collection. Nordstrom Rack has been one of my favorite stores for the last couple of years, but there are a few problems I have been encountering more recently. The men's section seems to get smaller every time I go there, and most of the stylish t-shirts I would wear are XXXL. Also, seems like the staff is getting lazy about making sure the different sizes are on the right order on the racks. Don't get me wrong I do love the store, I would hate sorting through the clothes... but then again it is there job to do so. Anyways, I actually went here today and i purchased quite a few items. I will continue to go there, but I will be checking out other stores as well. Last note, great selection of designer shoes at a marked down price. Can't beat that! read more

Whoever had the idea to make one big line was a huge idiot. For them not to look at this and realize is super sad. Nordstrom was known for it's customer service, but not at this store. The employees are chatting it up huddled together putting clothing onto hangers as the line goes back to the end of the store and they can open more lines instead. Nordstrom Rack needs to learn a few lessons from places like Costco, where getting customers through the lines and customer service is a priority. They have these little areas in the store where they can ring you up but they do not pull people out of the line, and they will only ring you up if YOU ask them, which is sooooooo backwards. I heard a woman speak to the manager about the super long wait and the women just chatting and she said to the customer, "What do you want me to do." read more

Love love love. I usually snag some outstanding deals here. Last trip I got a Lafayette 148 blouse for under $20. Score! And I am obsessed with shoes so I can hardly pull myself out of the place due to the fantastic brands in large sizes. I want to buy them ALL! The service is outstanding (even for a "rack") -- last time I was there, the shoe lady wanted me to write down which brand of shoes is my favorite so she can let me know if they get any in stock. This is a mix between Nordstrom and Mashalls. Nordstrom because of the items/prices (I don't think that they are at that much of a discount), and Marshalls because of the feel of the store. It's disorganized with stuff EVERYWHERE. You can find some deals at Kohl's-like prices, but overall it's still pricey. For instance, a pair of shoes is still $70+. I'm cheap though...so I guess this isn't my kind of place. read more

Ok I like this place. And there's a great selection of clothing and such. Because this is as close to the real Nordstroms as my budget will allow, I always enjoy checking it out when in the area. Some things are hit and miss like most of these stores. It reminds me of an upscale TJ Maxx. The racks are a tad cramped so get your fighting gear on especially if in the sale area, cause the girls up in here will fight you for it. Also beware the carts, they are often used as a mechanism of blocking you out of the way and running you over if you are seen as a threat. Just some observations... The only downside is when trying clothes on in the fitting room theres a little nook where you can keep any items that you can't take in with you, like jewelry, socks etc. Well put it on the top rack because I had an impending purchase taken by a rampant child in the store. It made me sad. And sad is not a word I like to use while shopping. read more

I got a Groupon for this place, $50 for $25, figuring since it's Nordstrom's so there should be something good there. Well, after an hour of searching, I walked out with socks, underwear and undershirts. There is a lot to look at there, but none of it was appealing. There were 2 or 3 things I thought were OK, but they were really expensive for what it was. I take a medium shirt and a 33 waist, so I'm pretty average on size, which was not the problem. A very interesting people-watching experience: a lot of very colorful Eastern European characters abound. I'm sure I won't be returning, unless I want a good deal on Calvin Klein socks, undershirts and underpants. But I'm pretty stocked for now. read more

This store is crazy, and i love it. I bought a Panache bra here, in an "extended" size, that is hard to find elsewhere, and I paid ONE DOLLAR. Yes, it was actually priced on the tag at $1. What??? I am a frequent Nordstrom rack shopper and shopping at this location was a very disappointing experience. I wanted to buy a dress but the one I found on the floor was ripped. I then asked the sales associate if they had another one in my size and she scanned the item and they did have another dress at the store. She then proceeded to help me for a few minutes but after we couldn't find it she told me finding the dress would have to be a treasure hunt for me and she proceeded to go talk with another sales associate instead of continuing to help me look for it. After a significant amount of time continuing to look I asked to speak with the store manager. He took down my name and number but again didn't help me look for the dress or even bother to look up the item number. He said he would call me if he found it but it wasn't likely since if it wasn't on the floor. I even asked if he would call another store to see if they had it and he told me that I could try doing that. Lastly, I checked the dressing room go backs and the sales associate was even ruder and told me that I couldn't check the go backs and everything was on the floor. I have never seen such laziness from a team of people who don't listen or help their customers. I will not be returning to this location. read more
