There are several factors to a good dining experience. The obvious which is good food, but to be a return customer requires more. I frequent Nori Presto 1-2x/wk, that should tell you something. The service at Nori Presto is exceptional, they make you feel so well taken care of. Every time I've ever ordered there hasn't been any moment I've been dissatisfied. Been driving past a sandwich board the past few weeks advertising the new management and Korean menu so decided why not. Boy am I glad I stopped in. Super friendly staff and was promptly greeted with a big smile. I was already sold on Korean food, so I quickly settled on beef bulgogi which they said was plenty to share with an 8-year-old. Food came out pretty quickly and it was fresh and hot and very tasty. my 8-year-old was definitely satisfied to the point he added it to his of "birthday restaurants" which should be enough said....give this place a try. My husband got the chicken teriyaki and I got the Bibimbap. There was so much delicious food with each order! The flavors were perfect, not too salty not too sweet. The Bibimbap came with a fried egg and 2 little containers of gojujang sauce and lots of veggies and tender deliciously seasoned beef. I can hardly wait to try some of their other dishes. We decided to try this place again.... Still not a fan. The fried rice was trash (which is weird because that was the only good thing last time!) It was gummy and flavorless. Menu said the large bento came with a side salad, neither of us got salad... There's so many better teriyaki joints in the area, we'll stick to those from now on. read more

I personally found this to be a typical teriyaki place. I personally find it pricy, but my siblings can't tell the difference for the basic teriyaki chicken when compared to the nearby Miyako's Teriyaki. I came here to order Korean chicken for my little sister. It was almost 20 USD, but she was super pleased. ;) It really seems to be a plus that the place offers bubble tea and a more diverse menu compared to Miyako. If you're undecided or unsure if you either want Japanese, Chinese, or Korean food ... well Nori is definitely the place for you, because why choose when you can have it all in one place! They have quite a selection of food to choose from (check out my menu pics). I recommend that you study their menu first before going there. The service was fast and they were all so very pleasant to talk to. However, there maybe a bit of a language barrier because I swear I asked for "Tonkotsu Ramen," but instead I got "Katsu Chicken". Maybe they didn't hear me right, but, I actually was ok with it because my kids would probably like the Katsu better (and they did!). It was golden brown, very tasty, and crunchy. We got the "Large Bento," but the menu was a bit confusing and can't figure out the choices for the bento. But, again I like teriyaki so it really didn't matter to me what I get. My bento came with: Teriyaki Chicken, Rice, Gyoza, California Rolls, Potato Salad, and Salad. Portion wise, it at least feed 2 people. The location was small, but clean. Probably best for just take out and not necessarily dining in. Overall, I like it and would still give it a 4 star rating. Definitely will go back again to try their Korean dish. read more

Under new management as of April 1. Came by for lunch for the first time with a group of friends. We ordered traditional Korean spicy beef soup, pork backbone soup, and spicy tofu stew. Solid. I ordered kalbi (short rib) teriyaki and the short ribs were nice and meaty, not overly fatty. Cooked just right, not over cooked/burned. My husband ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and it was solid too. The salad dressing was more of a creamy style ginger that went well with the grilled meats. I'm hopeful about this place. Tofu stew is one of my favorite things but I avoided ordering because of past disappointments at other restaurants. Next time I order from here, I'm going to try it. read more

Ugh, simply not good. First time here after a buddy said it was his go to spot. I've had a lot of teriyaki and had this place even been ok, I'd have left it alone. The only reason it's not a 1 star is because if you're really craving teriyaki, maybe you swing by? But I won't be returning. I got the chicken teriyaki, Gyoza combo. The worst boba I've ever had..... I should have ran when I saw them open a pack and run them under tap water. I can make boba at home 100 times better than this!!!!! Only after placing a simple order via Yelp for carry out did I get the message my order would take up to one hour to prepare. I ordered for myself the chicken breast teriyaki. It tasted funny as soon as I started eating it but by then I was tired and very hungry and thought maybe it was just me. I finally had someone else taste it because it was so awful and he spit it out immediately. It tasted like it had gone bad before it was cooked, was tough, and was very over peppered and over seasoned. I had to throw it away. I have been coming here since they opened many years ago!! I like their teriyaki tofu and chicken teriyaki, although the prices are slightly high. Also, it would be nice if one could get vegetarian sushi in the bento boxes. It is confusing that it is advertised that there is a can of soda included with meals but sometimes that is not honored. Ordered delivery via UberEats. Teriyaki and gyoza was pretty okay minus some charring. The star rating is for how horribly inedible the sushi was. I guess it's my bad for getting the sushi in the first place since it seems like nobody else in the reviews gets it? It wasn't just "boring" sushi. I wouldn't mind that. I don't leave bad reviews often for food, since I find it subjective, but it literally tasted like there was nail polish remover in my California roll or like the cucumber had gone bad or something. My fiancé tried it too, so it wasn't just me being crazy. The spicy tuna roll actually made me gag. I had to spit it out. I'm not exaggerating. It was horrifying. Best teriyaki, by far. I travel for work so I've tried many teriyaki places in the Everett/Lynnwood area and none compare to Nori Presto. I always get their chicken yakisoba because it has a generous portion of noodles and veggies, in accompaniment with your choice of meat. Other places give you barely any veggies, and the noodles are always greasy, but not at Nori! Everything has great flavor and freshness. My husband always gets the Chicken and Beef teriyaki and loves it. The beef is another one of my favorites too. I would say the difference between this place and others is the quality, freshness and flavor. We also like the option to choose a "regular" or "large" portion, in which the large is typically only $2 more, great size for sharing a meal if your not hungry enough for your own. Prices are pretty standard, yakisoba is $7.99, chicken and beef teriyaki $8.99 and regular chicken teriyaki only $6.99. Their lunch specials are from 11-2 and have different choices between $5.99-6.99. Overall, you have to try this place out, it will quickly become your favorite! read more

Their chicken teriyaki is pretty amazing. Probably the best I've had and I eat a lot of teriyaki. The yakisoba and tempura is pretty good too. They're fast, and friendly as well. The portions are pretty great too. I order 2 large chicken teriyaki and it's enough to feed my family of 6 AND have leftovers for my husband's lunch the next day. This is my favorite teriyaki place of all time. I get the chicken teriyaki or chicken and gyoza and it's nice when they have the lunch special for around $6 and it's just enough for me. The salad dressing is so yummy! You get a very fair amount of food for the price and it's so delicious! They are also very timely, I came in with only 10 minutes before closing and they were so nice about it and she ran the food out to my car too! The restaurant is nice and clean and stylish; its not like those teryaki places that are gross or old looking. Its always perfectly clean when I'm there and quite conveniently it's very close to my house. It's right off of Mukilteo Speedway in the Starbucks complex. Other teriyaki places just don't compare! Taste wise, price wise, interior wise, and service wise. I would choose this place over any other in the area. And not to mention, the owner is SO kind and sweet. Half the time they forget to make it spicy, and 100% of the time they over cook the chicken so it's super hard and rubbery and inedible. When ordering two Cucumber rolls valued at $5.99 each this is what you get. The photos at the register are apparently blown up to show a larger portion. I would have been fine paying $13.24 if the portion seemed to match the cost of the meal, but this is ridiculous considering I could get a filet of Salmon, two scoops of rice and salad for two dollars less. I was very polite when voicing my concern and she was obviously irritated and offered no explanation for the small portion and price discrepancy between larger entrees.
