The one other time the food was very good but tonight I ordered their chicken wings (to-go order) and I've never seen this much pink before in a wing. I understand some pink is to be expected from the thawing process but this is unacceptable and made me nauseous to see. I also ordered the salmon and it couldn't have been more dry and tough. I thought this was a good place nearby but I don't think I can recommend it to anyone

    Peanut Butter Stout....delicious

Some really great flavors for their brews. I liked the peanut butter stout. Charlie got the cherry cider, quite tasty. We just happened upon this place, even drove back for it. The beers was excellent, the service was good, the nachos were bland, regular pub fare nothing spectacular about them. Outside seating is available.

Sign at the front says Happy Hour 4-6 however, when I arrived today around 4:30pm there was no sign of happy hour anywhere. I did sit in the patio, and it wasn't offered to me as an option for Happy Hour if I sat inside. Prices are extremely reasonable. All entrees were under $20. Beers were like under $8. Cocktails were under $12. Kids menu the chicken tenders and fries, was a giant chicken tender that when you broke it apart was like 5 good sized pieces. Fries were yummy. I got the steak salad. I ordered medium and it was way over, but still a decent price. Hence minus 1 star Cuban sandwich was decent. Needed more acid, we wanted more pickles. The balsamic salad dressing was good. Definitely should try the Sambal and lime dressing, it is also a great fry sauce. Dog friendly on patio, also kid friendly. Large parking lot out front.

    Happy hour at 4!

Ok so, since ny first review the service has improved. There are some really good things on the menu like the habanero chicken wings and the steak salad and understand this is a "bar steak salad" not a 5 star restaurant steak salad. Don't get the Cuban sandwich if you've ever been to Miami, they have no clue about how to make them. In fact, I asked to try the "cubano" and the waiter looked at me like I was speaking Greek. "The Cuban Sandwich..." I clarified. So, since service has improved, the wait staff is friendly and the location is convenient. At Least for me since I only live a mile away. :) And for those reasons, I am upgrading them from 3 to 4 stars. Cheers.

After…read morescouring the plethora of restaurant options at Sea-Tac, we decided to check out Village Pub. After seating ourselves and being greeted by a server (unfortunately I did not capture her name), we both opted for the fish and chips. I can't recollect a time when I had a bad experience with a fish and chips order, so I was optimistic that we were in for a treat. Less than 15 minutes later, two large plates consisting of four fish planks and a healthy serving of fries were being delivered to our table. Biting into the fries I thought, "these are hot, but taste like nothing." To obtain some form of flavor, I had to douse them in ketchup. Hoping that the same did not apply to the fish, I took a bite of one of the planks...no flavor as well. To give it some form of flavor, I had to saturate it in vinegar and use a healthy serving of tarter sauce. I understand that some restaurants are hesitant to pre-season food due to various preferences and allergies. However, I have never consumed food that tasted like what I would imagine the flavor of paper would be. The customer service was good...but if this was an indication of how their other meals taste, I can't honestly say that I could make a return visit.

The last time that I came here was in 2015. I gave this 3 stars. For this review, if I had to…read moreselect a title it would be "disappointment". My husband and I were visiting the Burien Farmer's Market and decided to stop in for lunch here. The day before our area experienced a heat wave. Apparently this effected this place of business. There were fans going everywhere, no a/c in place; I was hesitant to enter and I should have gone with my instincts. It wasn't awful so that we couldn't stand it, so we stayed. We had a very friendly waitress, wish I could remember her name but she was very good. I ordered a peach tea and my husband ordered a cider, I believe it was pineapple and another fruit based. I ordered the Ahi Taco Wrap and my husband ordered the Luna Fish and Chips. My husband's drink arrived with an apology from another server as she poured the wrong drink for him. He was gracious and took it anyway. Out come our plates. I tasted my husbands fish and found it seriously lacking in flavor; nothing great here. Now let's get to my Ahi wrap; I had serious issues with this. This includes tuna, avocado, cilantro lime coleslaw with chipotle aioli and lime on the side. House made chips and salsa were included. The wrap was hugely disappointing. The ratio of tuna to coleslaw was seriously off. 90 percent of this wrap was coleslaw. The chips weren't fresh and the salsa was just ok, had a sweet type of base, which I don't like in my salsa. The lime included was stale and I couldn't get a drop out of this. The chipotle was so so. The coleslaw had no distinctive cilantro lime flavor. This dish was entirely disappointing and priced at 19.95. Never again. My husband's dish had two pieces of fish and was priced at 18.50. So after the cost of the drinks, the meal was over 60. Shame on us for a few things: 1. For not looking closely at the prices 2. And for most importantly, for simply not grabbing a decently priced hot dog at the farmers market. I'm positive this would have been better and a better deal. We will not be back to this place. The only reason I gave this a one star was for the waitress and the peach tea. Seriously.
