PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT- DO NOT waste your time at North Central Ford in Richardson. We saw an add online for a Bronco sport for $26,320. Called and verified, and made an appointment to come in. After starting the paperwork, we noticed that the price was 28,315. I Showed them a screenshot of their ad and inquired about the price difference. It was dismissed as a mistake and they said they were giving a $500 discount instead. After speaking with the GM-he did offer another $500 and a rebate of $500. Still not the full difference but I could appreciate the effort. We agree to move ahead despite the misleading dealer ad. Fast forward two hours and we look at the paperwork my daughter just signed before passing it back across the table and notice the $3,454 "dealer installed" line. When I asked the sales person and the finance manager what this line meant, neither could tell us. After sending their "higher up" to discuss it with us, we were informed that it was their dealer add on because inventory is so low- so basically price gouging. Which would have been fine if they had just included their "fee" in the price of the car to begin with. It says a lot about a dealership to bait you into their establishment with false advertising and verbal confirmation of an online ad only to dismiss it as a mistake and not honor their ad, and then try to add in an additional $3454 in the final contract as something vague and unexplainable on a college student buying her first car. My name is Brandi McKenzie On saturday, 7/22/23 my father Brian Hoze test drove a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover with Romeo (Eli) Escamilla on my behalf. After the test drive, I exchanged contact info with Eli. I explained to Eli that I was interested in moving forward with the purchase. I told Eli that I lived in Louisiana and my financing was already secured with my local bank, Eli verbalized understanding. On Monday 7/24/23, I followed up with Eli to complete the transaction as agreed but unfortunately Eli was not available. In Eli's absence, Sean McDougle offered to help with the purchase. I informed Sean of all the things discussed and agreed upon with Eli and as it had been previously documented. Sean seemed eager to help, however I quickly learned of unethical practices when reviewing the buyers order completed by Financial Director, Aaron House. Complete Theft and Permaplate service contracts as well as GAP protection had been added to the sale without my approval. After I received an explanation of each item mentioned. I clearly expressed to Sean, that was uninterested in purchasing the added products. Sean confirmed that he would have the GAP protection removed but it was standard practice to add Complete Theft and PermaPlate service contracts to all sales and I was not able to opt- out. This same information was reiterated by salesman Tom Said. I was unable to purchase the vehicle due to haggling and also being told that vehicles with outside financing were not priority and it would be better if I were to use in house financing and refinance later. I am deeply disappointed by the staff of this establishment. They were unapologetic and uncommitted to customer satisfaction. read more

This is the closest Ford dealership to my home which is the ONLY reason why I took it there yesterday b/c I'm having serious transmission issues & didn't want to chance driving too far out of my way. But true to form, the svc tech didn't even come out to look at my car much less anything else before stating I would need to leave my car with them & it would be at least a week BEFORE they can even tell me exactly what's wrong... We just discovered the 2018 Explorer we purchased new from North Central Ford has a broken bracket the windshield attaches to. Either at the factory or dealer, someone fixed it with, among other things, double sided tape and velcro. We also have a platinum warranty on it which they sold as covering everything "bumper to bumper". However, they say this is "trim" which is not covered by the "bumper to bumper" warranty. They "wish they could help us." These guys suck. read more

I had a great experience today that I felt I needed to post! I had a few bolts that had fallen off the front of my 2015 Escape and had been driving around for a few days with the splash guard scraping on the ground. I stopped by 5 star ford in Plano and they told me I would have had to leave my car with them for 2-3 days which seemed absurd. I found North Central Ford and was helped by Roy. When I drove in he was able to squeeze my car in with the mechanics and he got me the new bolts and my car fixed in 20-30 min. Their customer service was incredible. I will definitely be coming back to get my other services done here because of this positive experience! If you have a Ford in the Dallas area I would highly recommend North Central Ford! read more

I bought a car yesterday evening. They worked hard with me finding all possible discounts and rebates to get the price that I needed and could afford. We used TD and I would recommend that you ask for him personally to help you get in the new car. Shawn, the finances guy, was great. He wasn't pushy and he was very friendly. We liked the kids play area. It would have been nice if it had a door to the play area but as long as you are vigilant of your child they will be fine and entertained. I shopped all week: as far as Grand Prairie and the local ones in Collin County. This was by far the best and friendly hence why they got my business. I need to brag on my dealership for a min. My car has had a recalled part for a while now. I've used the only two warranty covered replacements and it's doing it again. So I dropped it off yesterday to have it worked on again. Got a call from my advisor letting me know it wouldn't be covered Then I get another call from him a little bit ago that made me cry a little. I went to this location, the service was good but there were to many misunderstanding about prices and after they finish with all the repairs on my car they drained my battery out and one of the employee was stating that I had a bad battery, basically blaming it on me, whenever the battery was just Fine. I purchased a car in October 2020. It's my fault that I didn't read the contract about the warranty information better until the next morning. After realizing I had purchased over $3000 in extended warranty, I cancelled it the next morning (and signed paperwork). I was told it was finished. First payment was due Jan 25 but hadn't received anything. Contacted bank, they had wrong address, wrong phone number, and wrong email address...and the extended warranty still on it. (Thankfully, they had the right SSN or car might have been repossessed). I have tried multiple times since early January to get the warranty cancelled. Even volunteered to get it transferred to Ford Extended Warranty (but they have no knowledge of it as of 5/26). The money has not been refunded to my bank nor has it been sent toward Ford Central. I am feeling ripped off and am about to put in a report with the Attorney General. Only reason I'm not giving it 1 star is that the car is great and my salesperson was top notch. Zero Stars actually... WOW... I cannot believe my misery at this location. I called EVERY Ford Dealership in town to see if they had a specific make, model and color... which is apparently popular. So, after hanging up on like 6 of them because they started with the "I can't get you whatever you want" BS... the last one HAD IT ON THE LOT! This location is way out of my way, I tell him what time I'll be there and that I'm buying a car that day. Either of the two black on black available. The manager calls me to confirm and I tell him I'll have a trade. He assures me that the salesmen will be available when I get there and all will be well. I arrive 10 minutes early to find him just start with people who parked right before me. Now I have to wait for this manager to come and speak with me. He runs to find another person to help me (did I want another person?)... The car I want was RIGHT IN FRONT... I'm ready to test drive and buy, but when he returns from looking for the keys... "I've got some bad news, its sold"... 5 flippin minutes before I show up? You have GOT to be kidding me. Who makes an appointment and speaks with two people if their not serious? Hell, I would have given them a deposit over the phone if they had asked. This dumb ass says "well, when were you looking to buy?" are you kidding me? TODAY, WHAT ABOUT TODAY DON'T YOU GET... OMG I'm so not a ranter on Yelp and I left this place furious. Absolutely furious! ESPECIALLY when they started with that "lets see what's coming in" BS... My husband took my car in for an oil change Saturday. After the $15 off coupon found online, we were charged $55. Two days later, my tire pressure indicator came on. Doubting they completed the "complimentary multipoint inspection...a $49.97 value", my husband decided to check my fluids. He found numerous fluids low...something we took for granted North Central Ford check since the receipt specifically states "top up all fluids" as part of the oil change. We will try Rockwall Ford next time as they off $29.95 oil changes with a free car wash. read more

I was in the market for a car for my son and visited a few places before we arrived at North Central Ford. The atmosphere was very welcoming as I was greeted by several staff members when I arrived. Shortly thereafter, I was approached by Mannie Meloul (Sales) and after a short chat, he started asking questions about my interests and objectives in the car I wanted to buy. I liked Mannie from the beginning. He was very knowledgeable, professional and seemed focused on getting me into the right car for my son. We settled on a 2015 Ford Fusion SE and Mannie brought it up for a test drive. It looked like it had been parked under a tree (a little dirty) but Mannie advised it would be fully detailed if we decided to buy the car. During the test drive, Mannie was able to answer all of my questions and he shared all of the features and details of the car. I decided to buy the car and Mannie started the paperwork process. As we were waiting, he often stopped over to give us updates on the process. In addition to Mannie, several of the staff came over to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything. I was impressed with the friendliness of the people and the atmosphere. After the paperwork was complete, I met with with a Mike in Finance. Mike was also extremely knowledgeable and guided me through the process. Overall, it was very smooth. After finishing the paperwork, the car was ready. M annie took us out to take a look at the car and there was a problem with the paint on the hood. We were not able to see this initially as the car was dirty when we went on the test drive. Mannie went to get the Used Car Sales Manager and they agreed to have it repaired or repainted to match the rest of the car. It was great customer service. They scheduled an appointment to bring the car back on the upcoming Thursday. It took a little longer to repair (about 4 days) but the results were better than what I would have expected. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The people, service and overall atmosphere made it very easy and enjoyable. I plan to have the car serviced at this location and would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a car. read more

So i drove 3 hours each way to purchase a 2013 focus st from north central ford on may 17th 2021 my salesmans name was rocky. From the time i stepped in there it was anything but an honest place. Wish i would have drove the extra 30ish miles and went to another dealer. First to start off salesman tells me that the focus just got traded in and that they were pushing it threw service quicker since i called them and said that i was coming from 3 hours away. The salesman rocky says that its part of there process to replace all the simple stuff like wiper blades,cabin air filter ,engine air filter ,oil change and that the tires just got replaced and they were supposed to have the hail damaged fixed.I also noticed when i was looking at the car that the front bumper had some damage and asked if the intercooler had been damaged and rocky said no that the tech looked over it and the intercooler was fthey were supposed to fix the hail damage and couldnt that day and said that they could get it the next day so i told them that i would stay the night in richardson and get a hotel if they could get the hail damaged fixed in the morning and i pick up the car no later than 12 pm tuesday may 18th 2021 salesman rocky gets with the sales manager brad and he says yes that he can get it fixed since there was probably 9 or 10 small ones so i we leave the focus at north central ford and go and spend almost 100 bucks on a hotel room for the night. Than evsrything gets worst show up at 1155am. My salesman rocky is off so rocky tells me to talk to another sales man when i got there so i did and than the car wasnt done. So at this point im sorta mad so i ask to talk to brad and his only response is well bring it out here at a later time and drive the 3 hours and we will fix it (i work about 65ish hours a week) so instead of being 100% pissed off and yelling i just tell brad that just give me my keys and write that he write me a we owe saying he has to get the hail damaged fixed when ever i bring it back so i start to head home about 1240pm tuesday may 18th 2021 and after about 10 mins it starts to rain really bad go to use the wipers and they are junk and smearing all over the place and are ripped and know for a fact that there is no way that the tech could have legally passed this focus for inspection having all the wiper blades smearing and not clearly wiping the window like it should . well the 3 hour drive was going good all the way up to i got about an hour from home.the check engine light comes on and i pull over get my code scanner that i carry when i go on trips. I hook up to it and it comes back with a vaccuum leak so i continued my drive home when i get home about 430 pm.i took it to another ford dealership in town and was able to get it up on the lift and had a couple techs look at it and seen the intercooler was smashed right behind where the front bumper was cracked and ghetto jb welded back together. So i take the car home and contact brian the general manager the following day (wensday may 18th 2021) and let him know what was going on so he decided that the 500 dollars that they added onto the top of the price of the vehicle to get the hail damage fixed and that he would pay for the intercooler and 50 dollars towards labor on a labor cost of about 225 dollars and brian said that thats the best he could do was 700 dollars so i say fine. Ill figure it out well while waiting for the check to come in to get the vehicle fixed i still had to drive it well car does fine for a few days than on sunday (may 23rd 2021 ) car starts running rough so i check the codes and comes up as multiple missfires so i get some oem spark plugs and install them sunday and it runs fine for about 20 miles than starts running rough again. So i check codes and same missfire codes for cylinder 2 and 3. So i decide to swap the coil packs around from 2 and 3 to cylinders 1 and 4 and so i clear the codes and drive it about 15 miles and check engine light comes back on guess what same 2 codes for cylinder 2 and 3 missfire ao i know its not coil packs or plugs so i decide ill take it and have a trained 25 year ford senior master tech look at it and make sure its not anything else that i missed and he has the car from monday (may 24th 2021 ) Tuesday (may 25th 2021 ) the ford senior master tech calls me and says that it seems like its probably gonna be bad injectors on cylinder 2 and 3 and i told him to hold off for right now and picked up the vehicle since its my only means of transportation. Well Wednesday (may 26th 2021 ) i come home and the check from north central ford for the intercooler and the hail damage comes in and in the reason for the check typed in is for bad injector and the hail damage to get fixed well i never even said anything to brian the general manager anything about injectors cause i literally just found out the day before while i waited almost a week on the check. So i contact brian and he basically says nothing he can do. read more

I purchased my 2012 Mustang from another dealer with 15k on the odo. I noticed that some TSBs were not preformed on it and had some issues with the transmission shift action. I took the car in for several things. Transmission fluid flush and replacement with a new OEM standard oil, noise in the passenger door, squeak from the driver seat, issues with the syncros in the manual tranny causing the gear to kick out, rear brake squeak. Got the car back after a couple days and the only thing done to it was the tranny flush. They said that they fixed the rear brake squeak but didn't. The TSB for the rear brake squeak called for parts replacement but all they did was deglaze the rotor. Squeak was still there. The issues with the syncros was not resolved because they couldn't replicate the issue. They know the issue exists because I sent them a video of the issue happening. I was told to keep driving until it fails, otherwise they can't do anything. Fine, I know that Ford has guidelines for warranty work but it still doesn't sit well with me that I have to wait for it to fail for repair when I have video documentation of the issue. Nothing else that I brought it in for the first time around was addressed. The noise from the passenger door is easily noticeable when the radio is turned up and the driver seat squeak when you rock a little in the seat. I took the car back in a second time a few weeks later because the tranny was still having issues shifting and the rear brake squeal was still going on. I emphasized the TSB for the brake squeal to the service rep. Got a call to pick up a few days later. Tranny issue still couldn't be duplicated and the brake squeal was "fixed". Took a look at the service notes and they deglazed the rotors AGAIN. No parts replaced per the TSB. I took my car to a different dealership and all but the shifting issues were resolved the first time around. I'd give them zero stars but my service rep was at least cordial. Although he was very non-responsive to my emails. read more

Wrote a letter of complaint to GM and service manager but guess they don't really care as they haven't responded... Service rep did the best he could... Found a truck online yesterday and emailed asking if truck was still available for a test drive the following day(today). Sean Sasche emailed me back saying "yes truck is still available." And that "they had a great selection of other brand trucks too :)." And then he told me to ask for some guy when I arrived in the morning. I live in Midlothian(30minutes south of dallas). So it's about an hour drive with no traffic. I arrive at this place and ask for the man whom Sean told me to ask for, and the front desk told me he wouldn't arrive for another hour or so. No big deal. A bigger older gentlemen who was talking to the front desk had the front desk call another salesman down and offered me water and coffee while I waited, was great but I wasn't interested. So Sam makes it downstairs to talk with me. I tell him right off the bat I'm here for this truck let's go look at it.. He tells me oh that truck was sold two days ago... Side note: I've been to three dealerships in the last two weeks and they have all pulled this move.. So I look online, the truck I came to look at was still sitting on their website... But the truck was sold two days ago.... Okay back to the review At this point I'm frustrated and Sam can clearly see this so he sits me down and and offers to help look for a truck similar if they have it.. I found one a few thousand out of my price range and I told Sam if we can get it to my budget I'll buy it. He comes back with a manager and he says he can't do it and that they have won 8 awards from ford for blah blah blah blah blah and that they don't do bad business like this normally and yada yada yada.. Y'all receive 2 stars because Sam did a good job. Otherwise it would be 1.. Long story short, I won't go back here or recommend to anyone because they will clearly mislead you to get you in the door.. read more

After we test drove the car, he started giving me attitude about coming in to "sit down." Obviously, he wanted to start the haggling and I was willing to come back another time to talk numbers, but just didn't want to do it right then. He pretty much said, "so, you're just gonna waste my time by driving my car?" He was a total dipshit. Too bad for him. I just bought a Ford Edge and i'm happy it wasn't from this place. Picked my truck up today. After several weeks of fighting with them to fix the truck and correctly (not just unplug things that don't work right) we got it back today. Not $1 covered by the warranty. Took it to the car wash on my way home because this dealership doesn't give your vehicle back all nice & clean like others do. While my vehicle is in neutral rolling through the car wash I am all of the sudden getting rained on with soap suds. They left the moon roof open but closed the vent shade. Yea, my whole headliner is stained with green car wash soap and now my amp is shorting out. Please please please - go somewhere else. read more

I took my 2017 Escape in for some maintenance on 12/17/18. When I got the vehicle back, the passenger side front fender was scraped and paint was removed from the fender and bumper. I have called 3 times and each time been promised a return call. Now over a month later no one atill has returned my call. I will never use this dealer again. read more

If I could give no star then I would. My sales person, Trey, was awesome and very respectful. Other than Trey, this dealership is a joke. I'd recommend people to never buy a vehicle from this dealership. If you're in Dallas area, go to different ford dealership. I purchased 2016 Ford F-150 super crew sports model ( brand new with no mileage) and week later, the truck stopped in the middle of the street while I was driving. I had to get the truck towed to the dealership, and I had to argue my way to get a loan car since it wasn't going to get fixed. Their brand new truck with no mileage broke down and I had to argue to get a loan car.... The loan they car they got me is really old piece of junk. I had to get a friend to jump me because the battery died. So if you pay for brand new car and if it breaks down on its own, you'd be driving some pos till it gets fixed. Btw my truck has been in their service shop since Saturday, and they still can't tell me anything. On top of that, whenever I call them to ask for an update, they gave me attitude. Ford, I have every right to be pissed off since the brand new truck that I paid good money for is broken after a week. read more

I took it in, and the service adviser was rude, he did not want to discuss anything about my car and just told me to leave it and they will take care of it. Wow what a difference, they treated me so well, and was very clear about how they would handle the service and communications. This is for the Parts Department: I went in today to buy a complete replacement for the spare tire jack and extension pieces for the spare tire for my Ford pickup truck. They wanted $240 for the package. That is ridiculously overpriced! Go online to Amazon and you can find many of the same scissor jacks for around $30 and less and the spare tire tools for $33.99 and less. Free shipping is available and you can rush for next day delivery for extra. So for around $100 I can buy what North Central Ford is trying to sell for $240! I've heard that car dealerships try to rip you off, and I was willing to pay a few more dollars to buy it on the spot, but at that insane markup price, they will never get my business. read more

Astonishingly unprofessional. I leased my first car here in the beginning of September '14. The salesman I worked with was a bit pushy, but I suppose that's to be expected. He told me as I was leaving with my new car that I would be sent a survey about my experience and that only top marks were considered passing for him. I didn't want to lie on the survey, so I recorded my impressions: that I felt pressured at times. Since then I've received a series of texts from the dealer emotionally blackmailing me for essentially giving him a 9/10 on the survey. I'm torn between being annoyed and amazed that a professional would act like this. read more
