Uprating to 5 stars. We've gone back multiple times with wonderful experiences. Thursdays are lobster taco night and my husband loves the carne asada plate on Wednesday nights!

They f you get a shot of tequila make sure to have there chaser, pineapple, Serrano, cilantro and mint! Yes it's good! Just ask for a shot of it even with out th tequila is so tasty! Happy hour and daily specials are great! We are coming back!

Love the atmosphere at North County. You've got a cute little spot for outdoor seating and an open indoor space. Food is fantastic. It's been a while since I've had tamales and if this is what I've been missing out on then shame on me because they had me drooling. There was no crumb left behind. Service was great and attentive until we were trying to leave. Took a while for the check and to pay, but overall was pleased with our experience.

This is one of my favorite local spots! I've tried every option for the fish tacos, and they are delicious! The margs are so reasonably priced (even during non-happy hours), and they bring you the rest of the shaker so it's a pretty big one.

We had a fine time at North County. We were seated really quickly and the waiter had no problem with our party showing up at different times. We had items from the late Night menu which included items for $3. The $3 margaritas packed a punch! The food was average. Good, but not over the top. I'd suggest this place if you are in the Lowry area meeting up with friends for a quick meal. The ambiance is fun and light. We enjoyed our experience. The service was the best overall in our experience.

This place has a great happy hour and solid food! We have been several times and have tried many of the appetizers on the happy hour menu, all of which have been good. This visit, we had -Nachos ($7.25 during happy hour): they come loaded with toppings and are layered to distribute the toppings nicely. We tried them with roasted chicken on one and chicken tinga on the other, and the tinga was slightly better. -Charcoal grilled oyster: just okay, would skip this next time. It had a lot of poblanos on it but still managed to be a bit bland -Baja chicken sandwich: this was great. The breading was very light but crispy, and the spicy slaw and creamy aioli worked very well together. The fries that came with it were also very crispy and were pretty good. -Build-your-own burger with pepperjack cheese, pickled onions, and candied bacon: the patty was cooked to medium and was well-seasoned. The service was quick, and they have a cute patio area. Overall, the food was good and the prices were very reasonable. They have daily seafood specials, which we plan to try next time.

An unassuming taco spot, in the seemingly middle of nowhere, almost thought we were in the wrong place ... though it's basically around the corner from Wings over the Rockies. I cannot say enough about this place. Great atmosphere with thoughtful decor. Wonderful and knowledgeable servers, drinks on point and oh the food! I'm still dreaming about the ceviche. I've had a lot of tacos in my day, but this place is really special. Don't skip the dessert, the Fried Plantains & Ice Cream are a perfect ending! I hope we get the chance to go again someday.

North County has great Happy Hours throughout the week! One of my favorite places to meet friends for good food and a fun atmosphere. The prices are on point and friendly service. If you need a casual and easy spot to hang out, consider North County. There is plenty of parking as well.

I've always wanted to check out this revamped area of the AFB I used to work at years ago. I passed by the establishments when i went to other establishments there and I was in the neighborhood last night and i finally made the plunge to try the food. It was a pleasant experience. I had their big bowl with carne asada and was definitely determined to eat it all and it was so good i achieved my self style challenge. The margaritas I had were tasty as well. The only thing I didn't like was i initially wanted their enchiladas dish with carne asada but they said the beef will be put on top of the enchiladas and not inside. I couldn't fathom eating it like that but I'll guess I'll try it next time. The service was great and questions answered without attitude. Also a great spot for Pokémon.

Overall, a good experience. We were seated fairly quickly but once the food came our waitress didn't come back for a long time. Hubby tried to order a local beer on draft but she advised us that they didn't have any as they were leaning more towards "California" cuisine. Their Saturday special was crab and shrimp enchiladas and they were very creamy and cheesy. Very little crab meat inside. Ahi tuna bowl - was good. Tasted like any other. Kid nachos consist of just cheese Nacho appetizer are a good portion for one or a shareable appetizer. A pro is that they have EV chargers.

Coming on a Wednesday night for date night and we didn't need a reservation. Being from Southern California this is very decent California Mexican food (not traditional Mexican food). Love the theme of the restaurant - very beachy and reminds me of home!! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, we were seating almost immediately. Our server was on top of it! Bringing out our drinks and food very quickly! It all tasted quick good and had delicious flavor. I did take off one star because of the the strange fees along with the lack of chips and salsa. That is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant. Overall I would come back! 4/5 stars

North County is in Lowry in a plaza next to other restaurants and a nice area. It's a restaurant based out of San Diego. I came on a Monday night and it was pretty empty. I heard about their late night menu and was excited to try! Service was good. I felt like we were taken care of well. Our waitress was attentive and kind. We started off with the Queso Fondido without the chorizo since my company is vegetarian. It was fine, I liked the burnt cheese that was at the bottom. However, it didn't feel like it was anything special. It was a bit plain. We got the three dollar margaritas off of their late night menu. Although they're small portions they do pack a punch. The value for what you get it pretty great. I got two tacos. The birria taco and the mahi mahi taco. The birria taco was fine, again, nothing special and I've had better at plenty other places. The mahi mahi was better though. It had a good sauce that compliments the fish well. Overall, it was fine. Nothing that would make me want to return other than the $3 margaritas.

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!! The brunch has a really fun and original idea in that you can order bottomless small plates for $42 per person or bottomless food and drinks for $59 in person, with a two-hour limit.
