We had an issue with a car we bought and brought it over to them to fix. We ended having a major issue but luckily we always buy the warranty and it was fully covered. They did mess up my fender but completely took responsibility had it immediately repaired and made like new again. This review is specifically to address the unprofessional conduct of your employee, Carrie. "Rude" doesn't even begin to capture the attitude she displayed toward my husband and family. We repeatedly attempted to get clear information regarding an issue with our electric vehicle, and each time we were met with dismissal and condescension. Rather than providing answers, she would abruptly redirect us to another employee over the phone and then hang up. After getting nowhere, we made the hour-long drive to speak with her and her manager in person. Shockingly, the in‑person interaction was even more dismissive. At this point, if returning my seventy-thousand-dollar vehicle were an option, I would not hesitate. I will not be returning to this dealership, nor will I be recommending it to anyone. I bought a used Ram 1500 from North County Ford, and my post-sale experience was disappointing. Within a few days several issues showed up: the TPMS stopped working next day, the ParkSense system was failing intermittently, and the differential was leaking oil, even though the truck was supposedly inspected and "in great condition." I also reported a water leak coming from the roof antenna or possibly the rear window. The service dept said they needed approval to fix it, but I never heard back. In the end I had to fix the ParkSense and the differential leak myself. The water leak is still pending. I understand it's a used truck, but that doesn't justify selling it with problems and going silent after the sale. If you're thinking about buying here, think twice. I'm still hoping North County Ford will step up and help resolve the remaining water leak issue. read more

Brought my car into the service department for an oil change,tire rotation, and a 99 point inspection on April 16, 2026 after my service was done drove home. when I got home I noticed radiator fluid coming from my car open up the hood just to realize all the radiator fluid had leaked out through a leaking hose. Contacted Ford on april 20th 2026. Make them aware of the situation I found it very suspicious that my vehicle has a radiator leak after an inspection and oil change the tire rotation. Janet, who was helping me advise me that they would tow the car to their location to see what they could do I explained to Janet if there was nothing that could be done then I would like my car towed back. after having my vehicle all day. I called about six times left a voicemail and I got no calls return. I had to go down at 5:30 PM on April 20,2026 to see what was going on with my vehicle just to be told that they're not sure if they're going to cover anything and it's due to the fact that they don't feel like they're liable for this even though they didn't catch this during the inspection. They also made me aware that they didn't know how much the part was gonna cost even though their parts department is right next-door to their service department, which I went over And I found the price for the part, bought the part for them went to go give it to them. I do not recommend this service department they don't catch issues and they don't communicate .if you want a bad experience and poor service and lied about what they do to your car and service then this is the place to go. read more

My truck was in the shop for 6 weeks, and I was told my rental car would be covered by my warranty -- but I ended up having to pay for it out of pocket. Since getting my truck back, I've called and texted my service advisor multiple times trying to resolve the rental reimbursement issue and no one has contacted me back. After 6 weeks of going back and forth with the warranty company and not having my truck, I was put in a Chevy Malibu and still had to pay for it myself. This is unacceptable customer service. This review is for the Service Center at NC Ford. Holy smokes this place is terrible. I went in for work on my due bill -- three items the dealership agreed to and put in writing they would fix as part of me purchasing a new vehicle. A chip in windshield, chipped paint on bumper and scratches in rear glass. I had to chase them down to schedule the service, but finally we scheduled it. I was told when I purchased my truck they'd offer me a loaner if the work would take all day, well I had to fight like hell to get that loaner day of service. Day of service, they used touch up paint on the chip in bumper, and shot superglue into the windshield chip -- leaving an air bubble that makes the chip even MORE noticeable then before. The scratches on the window went un-repaired and they tried to offer me a $200 Ford Service credit in lieu of fixing it. That's a joke. The repairs they made I could've done in my driveway at home in less than 15 mins. I spent $75K on a truck, $3500 on a maintenance package and $4000 on an extended warranty and this was the service I got. A complete joke. I asked the Sales Mgr, Brad if he thought the repairs were acceptable and he agreed they were not. I refused to sign the completion of repairs and they said they would call me to reschedule. I got an automated msg from the Service Mgr asking how the service went and I told him it was unacceptable and I was waiting to hear back on a new date to have the pairs done again. No response. This was one week ago. I gave them a week to get back to me. Hopefully they see this and get back to me now. Absolutely dogSheet service. read more

Just the absolute worst dealership. 4 days wasted trying to fix my wife's car after being told we don't have a warranty, then finding out they just flat out didn't check. Finally get them to acknowledge the warranty, get told the repairs will be covered, and have the car towed in. My wife was ecstatic and celebratory and I already knew then it wouldn't be fixed. I'm waiting in the lobby for another tow truck right now because they aren't covering the repairs and I'm not even surprised. This is the worst insult I could give someone. We have been trying to fix our van since you had it at your shop july 24, 2024. To this day it is still in Arizona stranded at its 3rd Ford dealership with all unresolved issues. My 2015 Ford Focus has had well-known transmission issues, and I brought it to North County Ford hoping to finally get things resolved under Ford's extended warranty. Instead, I got the runaround. This is my third visit for the same problem, and each time they find a new excuse to dodge responsibility. Most recently, they quoted me nearly $5,000 for a clutch replacement--even though the clutch had already been replaced by an independent mechanic less than 1,000 miles ago. They claimed parts were bad that were brand new and installed correctly. When I asked for written documentation, I was completely ignored. I've now filed with the BBB and the Bureau of Automotive Repair, and reached out to Ford Corporate. So far, North County Ford hasn't responded to a single one of those efforts. I called for a appointment to get my modem in my raptor reset as the ford helpline said was needed, the receptionist said it would be a couple hours 2-5 exactly but it would be done same day. Made the appointment for 7 in the morning, when dropping off the truck my advisor Bianca reinsured me I'd be receiving a call around 12 to confirm everything was under warranty etc. 1 o'clock rolled around no call, I tried calling multiple times no answer anybody at service department. Then received a text from her saying she sees me calling and she's with a customer and she would called me back. Over an hour passes no call or text , I try to call around 230 as the dealer was about a 25 min drive from me so I didn't want to have them close at 4 and miss my truck. Again multiple times called no answer from anyone. So I had to uber all the way there and when I showed up I was expecting the service department to be packed but lone behold only one customer being helped with the three advisers there. After telling them either way if my truck was done I wanted it pulled out now. After what I'm guessing was the service manager looked me up , the truck has been done. Then continued to tell me that it was my fault and I should expect the technological fixes on vehicles to take longer etc blah blah blah. Never brining my truck back here again!!! read more

The website services/scheduler needs a lot of work, not user friendly. 2. There's zero communication after you drop you vehicle off on updates or when it's complete. 3. This was my second visit experiencing the same type of customer service communication having to call before closing to see if my vehicle was ready to be picked up (waited 25mins on hold) 4. Went here tonight to buy some parts. Their website says they close at 6pm. I was there at 534 and all the lights were turned off. Just for the hell of it, I went to the front door to look at their posted hours. Turns out they have opening hours, but no closing hours. Most businesses post their hours so everyones on the same page. This was most inconvenient since I left work in Oceanside to come here and buy some parts. My Ford Focus has been at North County Ford service department for a week and a half. They had to order a part and that took three days. They told me I could come and pick it up before the part was delivered and then bring it back, but I didn't want to have to bring it back. But I called on Monday to see if my car would be ready and they told me my car would be ready that day. But I never got another call. I called again on Tuesday, today, and was told my car would be ready today. But I never got another call. I have had many cars but have never had the kind of poor service that I've had at North County Ford. When I took my Chevrolet in, it was always ready the same day. If it needed a part they would get a part. When I took my Honda in, it was always ready the same day. If it needed a part, they would go get a part. The communication at North County Ford is terrible. If my car is not going to be ready, after being told it would be, they should at least call and tell me it won't be ready. I will never buy another Ford and will pass this information onto all my friends. read more

Had my truck serviced a few weeks ago (12/28) with a request for an oil change and brake check to diagnose a squeaking issue. The brakes were not addressed at all, despite a request made during online booking and with the service gentlemen during drop-off. At the time of pick-up, the service gentlemen (different from the guy at drop-off) was completely unaware about my service request and he offered a bogus reason as to why the brakes were squeaking. He then offered to keep the vehicle for an additional 2 days to further inspect the issue. I declined, I use my vehicle daily and said that I would schedule an appointment to have the brakes checked at another time. I booked an appointment on Saturday (1/20), made the same brake check request and upon arrival, I was told that no technicians were available to diagnose the issue, and that only the lube guys were around. Why on earth was I able to schedule an appointment for a service that is unavailable on weekends? He recommended that I return during the weekday for inspection. A complete waste of time! I really don't have the time to return a 3rd time....especially to this Ford service center. I left a message with the general manager and of course, there has been no attempt to call me back. I would recommend visiting a different Ford service center. read more
