I dropped by on a Friday morning because one of my tires pressure kept dropping throughout the week. I didn't catch the name of the employee who helped me but he was so helpful! He took my car in really quick and removed my tire to take a look. Found a nail and patched it up and didn't even charge me when I tried to pay. I am so happy that I found this place. I learned that I had to replace all four tires and the place where I used to go to was too busy and didn't really have what I wanted. So I started looking for a new place and I called several places like Costco, Evans Tires and in the end my husband and I decided to get tires from North County Wheels and Tires. First of all, they wowed me/us with how clean the shop is. Not that many car shops are clean and organized. Secondly Tommy is super nice and efficient. Stand up F'n guys. I was on my way to pick up my kids and another driver yelled that I had a flat. There were no airpumps around and I needed to be sure I could pick up my kid. I normally would go to Costco that was close by but I didn't have the time to wait. Googled these guys, gave them a call since it was close to closing, and they said yes come on in. The guy at the desk didn't even ask my name or look up any info, just my keys. I had never been there before, I've never given them business before. He said wait a little bit and in 30 minutes they had fixed my tire. He said no charge. I'm sure they and other tire shops do this all the time. But for my situation and my needs at the time, these guys came through. I know my sports car midlife crisis era is about to hit in the future, and when it does you can bet that I'll get wheels and tires from these guys. read more

I've been going to this shop for over a decade as an automotive enthusiast - typically bringing in wheels and tires off the car to be mounted/balanced/swapped/whatever. NCW has always done their best to help me out when it came to fitment with tires on my slammed cars back in the day. I hadn't been by their shop in nearly 3 years, but I had new wheels and tires I needed mounted and balanced (brought them in off the car like usual). My current car has TPMS and I really didn't want to deal with the TPMS light being on all the time, so I went ahead and agreed to $50 a pop for TPMS on each wheel. Picked up my freshly mounted wheels and tires 2 hours later, paid, got home, and realized the receipt only said $80. I sat for a minute, then remembered two of the techs there digging through every damn box looking for my wheel cap stickers they weren't aware of, only finding one after 10 minutes, and told them not to worry about it. I immediately felt guilty as I should have been charged $280 ($80 for mounting/balancing, $200 for TPMS), so I called them up, let them know, and they greatly appreciated my honesty and gave me a generous discount on the sensors as I paid for them over the phone. These are good guys. And I always see the same faces I've been seeing for 11+ years. Whether you're a DIY'er like me, or just your average commuter, I'd highly recommend and fully trust this shop for anything wheel/tire/alignment related. read more

I needed new tires and a wheel alignment. I called multiple businesses in the area, and not only did NCW match the lowest quote for the tires, but they beat the lowest quote for the alignment. They were also able to get tires delivered to their shop faster than any of the other businesses I called. They got me in and out in 30 minutes the day of my appointment (tire install only). Due to my work schedule, I was not able to get the alignment done the same day because my appointment was so close to their closing time. I made a separate appointment for the alignment a couple of days later, and their service was just as efficient as when they installed my tires. A friend of mine brought his car to this place to install his new wheels and tire. The guy over torque one of the studs (Bmw) and ruined the thread, and blamed it on the offset of the wheel. Then said he needed longer stud because of the offset which had nothing to do with the damage they made... honestly the lack of experience is magnificent. I wouldn't give this guys my business after this issue. Not only that but then the valve stamp started leaking after they installed it, and they didn't inspect the wheel, but they quickly went ahead and blamed it on the powder coat... if you claim to be a professional you should held yourself accountable for the mistakes made in the shop, not say "It was like that when I found it", because if it was truly like that you should've notified the customer at once. read more

Came to get some new tires installed. Guy said an hour or hour and a half. I come back an hour and a half later, my car is not even pulled in the shop yet. They pull it in finally then half an hour later I look and only wheels taken off, no workers in sight (apparently they all take lunch at the same time?). Finally guy comes out I ask how much longer he says 45 minutes. He asks if I have somewhere to go and I'm like uh yeah I got better things to do with my Friday like getting ready to leave town on vacation. He asks if I want them to put the wheels back on my vehicle SMH. Yeah dude sure that exactly what I wanted to do is waste an hour and a half of my day waiting in your lobby! What horrible and rude customer service. Do not recommend you go here unless you want to wait forever and get an attitude from the sales guy. read more

Great service, tires and install price. I was recommended here by a friend a while back and won't go anywhere else. They have a great selection of tires (and wheels) with tire prices that rival anywhere else, and have the best install price (same as Costco but with better service and without the huge wait). Their website can be a little confusing sometimes, but you can give them a call and they will help you find what you're looking for in no time. Im currently on the search for new wheels for my car and honestly I feel this is harder than buying the car itself. With that being said I would like to give a shout out to these guys. I saw them advertising some wheels. I go in to check some out and the ones i really want are back ordered (Just my luck). However the service I received from these guys was really cool. 1. Everyone is telling me to get 20s for my car. Even the wheel places i have been to, but these guys actually talked to me and explained that based on my car 19s would be better. They explained that a 20 would fit but it could be more headache than what its worth because the tire would be thin and not only will have a greater chance of popping, I also risk damaging the rim itself. Honestly I thought that was pretty cool. 2. Now here is the kicker. Like i said I have been looking around and one place I almost purchased wheels from told me I needed a certain sensor for my wheels. (150.00 charge). These guys were honest. I wanted this sensor included in my quote with them and they told me i dont need them. They explained that the sensor is for older cars and not a 2020. They could of easy had went along with it because I told them I wanted it. To me that was pretty cool. Although I'm still looking, I will say this anything I find, Im going to see if these guys cant get them first. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE HONESTY AND SERVICE! read more
