They left my wheel loose then denied me service. Let me start this off by saying the crew at this shop loves cars and what they do, awesome guys. Im an ASE certified technician. I'm not someone who typically leaves reviews but I felt like this needed to be shared. I recently had 2 used tires installed (rear of car) by supreme tire. Shortly after had the fronts replaced by a different shop and stayed with the vehicle through both installations (I watch like a hawk, this comes into play later). After driving home and letting the car sit for almost a week I took the vehicle out to run errands. While on the freeway I noticed a violent throw in the steering wheel and thudding noise when I pulled into my destination and saw that one of the rear tires was loose. (Did not fully come off because the vehicle is lowered thank god). I then parked the car at home and waited until Supreme Tire opened. Upon calling I spoke to Giovanni. I was met with denial, blame-shifting and the worst customer service I've experienced in the automotive field in years. Stating that they've "never had that happen" and that I "must've done something wrong" Or "it was the other shop". He requested me to tow the vehicle in out of my own pocket. I asked if I could show him pictures in person to which he agreed. He wasn't even at the location. While I was there a technician openly admitted to "leaving a wheel loose on a ladies car once" and that they had "owned up to it" in the past. All on recording. The next day... (had to call off work). I was told that I was refused service excluding carry-out transaction from now onward. Confused, I asked for further explanation when I surmised they thought I was scamming them. Their mistake could've easily cost my family's, loved one's, or anybody's life. I was shown zero accountability, professionalism, or respect for the safety of other's by Giovanni and his allergenic nature towards taking responsibility. Very grateful to be ok after all this. Could've been much worse. Damaged vehicle components include wheel, lug nut holes, lug nut studs, lug nuts, brake dust shield and wheel paint. read more

You might save a little money going here, but I wouldn't trust putting my family in the car after they've touched it. Brought my wife's car here after experiencing a slow leak in the passenger rear tire. Being open on a Sunday, I swung by. After taking the tire off, they pointed out uneven tread (alignment issue) and said it couldn't be fixed, needed a new tire and never looked further into it. My ignorance, with their great reviews, said ok and drove off with a new / non-matching tire. Two days later, same slow leak (previous tire would take 2 days after filling it for the warning to come on), so it was pretty much the same issue. I messaged the owner right away and said to bring it back. Brought it back, after taking the tire off they said the rim has a crack and pointed it out. I looked closer, there's actually 2 cracks. After asking why this this wasn't noticed before, and why they sold me a tire when it wasn't needed, their response was that the rim must've cracked between the time I drove off and got home. And that they are at least "not charging me for taking the rim off" (all of 2 min of work that no other shop in SD chargers). This is the passenger rear rim, extremely unlikely chain of events here. Just no accountability for their lack of attention to detail and just wanting to rip people off. While this is all going on, the customer next me is trying to get a nail fixed in his tire and noticed nails on the ground where cars are being worked on. He was literally picking them up off the floor and handing them to the techs asking wtf. So short of it is, don't go here. They have no basic skill sets in tires/rims. Go to discount or anywhere else. If you decide to go here, check for nails as you pull up. read more

I got a nail in my rear tire with slow leak as I headed out on a road trip back to the Bay Area. I asked if they could patch the puncture from the inside instead of just plugging the hole and they could, offering me an acceptable rate (cheaper than I expected to pay compared to the Bay Area.) As a car enthusiast, I'm especially glad they were careful with my wheels and used a torque wrench for the correct tightening specs instead of the lazy impact gun you see elsewhere when putting the wheel back on. Complimentary wheel shine was an unexpected plus and 20 minutes later I was back on the road. No issues on my 7 hour/500 mile trip home. read more

I was in the area and thought to stop a tire shop to get service done on my wife's car before heading home. Many tire shops around the area but I was primarily after tire shops with diverse inventory that included used and new tire options especially low profile, and at a fair price. Selection process came down to Supreme tires since they carried a handful of low profile tires for my wife's car. The guys provided efficient and friendly service at a reasonable price. They sell all tires from used to new. Not too much markup compared to other tire shops, so that's great. NOTE: When buying used tires from any shop, always check for tread depth (use tire tread checker), even wear, the year when the tire was manufactured, and if there any patches or punctures. I ended up not getting any used tires here since the selection was very limited and didn't have what I wanted. But always call ahead as I am sure their Inventory and options change daily. Great people, I had a blown out tire, Sunday afternoon, coming home from church. I ran a metal piece over on the free way. In full Sunday church attire, I was able get off the free and put my donut spare on. This place was the only tire shop open. I got there and they were super friendly. They did not try to exploit my situation, given that it was Sunday and they were the only place open. Also, I had to drive to LA that afternoon. I had by chance a spare tire at home. Was a bit hard to find because it's part of an auto sales lot. But they had a truck parked outside with the name on it. They were very friendly and informal. Gave me the option of a used replacement on a Sunday or to order a new one next day. Price was reasonable and they were open on a Sunday. Service was very fast.
