Casual, relaxing pizza joint. The people at the counter were nice. Looking forward to coming back again.

Good food, fast and friendly service.... This is a great spot for families. After pizza, you can enjoy an ice cream treat.

This place was walking distance from my hotel and came here twice in one day for some slices. Probably could have bought a whole pie but in the earlier visit, I didn't know that I would want more. I had pepperoni slices and they were a good size and had the right amount of cheese to sauce ratio which I loved. Service is quick. They also have an ice cream counter here where you can get scoops, sundaes, or a few other ice cream treats. I didn't get to try any this time around as I was too cold for ice cream, but I will be back.

Our family turned to North End Pizza in the event of Mellow Mushroom being packed to the brim with a 45 minute wait. We had kids with us, so that just wasn't feasible. However, this pizzeria off Atlantic Avenue really hit the spot!! You seat yourself, go up to the counter and order by the slice, a whole pizza, or another entree. And it wasn't nearly as chaotic as the Mushroom across the street. My kind of place!! The inside of the restaurant was pretty retro style. It was nostalgic for me. They also has a bar to order ice cream and smoothies from!! There wasn't much interaction with staff as you just order from the counter but what did occur was courteous and friendly. For my meal, I got two slices of cheese pizza (huge!!) and a cheesy bread. My boyfriend got the philly cheesesteak stromboli. When we asked for ranch, they gave us a ton, which made me very happy. Everything was delicious. The nice crispy crust was delightful with melty cheese and just the right amount of sauce. The Stromboli was packed with yummy ingredients - meat, cheese, peppers, and onions. On top of that, the price was great compared to our other option. There is another North End Pizza right by my house. I'll definitely be swinging by !!

Sold by the slice and pie. We were staying at the Sheraton and needed a couple slices for a dinner snack ;) The other pizza shops were only selling by the pie so we ended up in North End. The turn around in pizza is high meaning pizzas were made fresh. The shop was bustling with customers as they were packed with kids, families, and friends enjoying a Friday night. We ended up visiting a couple time in the two days during our staycation. The cheese slice is ok. This shop is more about volume than a quality pizza. If your not picky, and just need a quick slice this is the place. Toppings are extra and can be ordered at the counter. It is very doughy, and I'd recommend a hot slice so the cheese melts a bit more for the pull. Great for takeaway and easy on the pockets. :)

Service was pretty good for as busy as they were.

This pizza shop was hopping when we went. It was during tourist season and it's really close to the boardwalk. We had a long wait because the line was massive, but not anything completely intolerable. My husband and I literally just wanted a 'snack', so we ordered one slice of pepperoni pizza and split it. The slices are huge and one slice is more like 2 slices. When it came out, it was piping hot and super greasy. Service at the restaurant was great at the counter, as we were just getting it to go. The crust tasted like cardboard (like something you'd get with a frozen pizza), the sauce was underwhelming. It was super cheesy, so that's a plus. Just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm guessing it would taste great after a night of drinking though. But if you're looking for a quality pizza, this isn't the place.

Good place for pizza and gyros! We tried their chicken garden fresh pizza and the chicken gyros and lamb gyros! The online ordering was hassle free and when I went to pick up the food, it was ready. The kids loved the pizza and the gyros were delicious and fresh. We were a bit skeptical initially but were pleasantly surprised with the food. Decent option for quick bite as well as take outs They have lots of ice cream options too!

We were going to move but they had a big fan blowing and they turned it away from her. Now take that with a grain of salt because the heat in her room is set to 76 and it's April. 2. It was too loud. Since the kitchen is open you can hear the cooks doing cook things. She was irritated by the noises coming from the kitchen but once again....grain of salt. The volume on her TV is at 80 and she can't hear it but can hear the kitchen noises. 3. The seat was too hard. Once again....grain of salt. She is skin and bones but I will bring her something to sit on next time. She actually did enjoy the food but I got the leftovers. :) We will be back.

The ambiance was nice, the open kitchen with the wood fire hearth right at the entrance added a warm cozy feel from the onset. The restaurant was warmly lit but not dark. We were seated immediately in the far left dining area in an elevated booth. After reviewing the menu we settled on the fried deviled eggs and wood fire oysters for starters and the Vincent Vega pizza for dinner. Fried deviled eggs was a first for us and it was so good! The egg white was breaded very lightly and fried and the egg yolk was piped on top with a piece of smoky delicious bacon goodness. It had a nice smoky, bacon-y taste and we devoured them. I only wish you got more than 2 pieces. I think 4 pieces would be better for the price considering it's essentially one egg but I'm not complaining. The wood fire oysters was another hit for us, the serving came with 6 half shell oysters topped with breadcrumbs (light), swimming in butter and fire roasted. I think we ate these even faster than the deviled eggs lol! Would definitely get these again. The pizza also did not disappoint. If you like bacon, mushrooms and creamy Boursin cheese, you'll love this pizza. We added crushed red pepper flakes which added a nice kick. The crust is the star of the show; thin, crispy but still has body and slightly chewy. Yum! That wood fire hearth definitely makes a difference. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back! The staff were also very nice and friendly.

My boyfriend and I went to Shorebreak for the first US game of the World Cup. As expected, it was an absolute zoo. We didn't have reservations or seats. Somewhat dejected, we approached the packed bar and admittedly, I expected a serious wait before I got a drink. In comes Martina! She almost immediately flagged me over to get a us drink and started my tab. We ended up moving outside and found some seats at the outside bar, so thrilled! Of course, Hannah was quick to take our orders. All was well... then came the rain. It turned into a downpour and we had to rush inside. We wondered about our nacho order while we dripped from the rain, packed into a sea of people. But Hannah found us right away! She got us more drinks and checked on the nachos. She said they were probably cold at this point and insisted that she put them in again. She brought us more drinks and nachos all in the chaos of the night and never forgot about us. At halftime, I realized I needed to close out my tab with Martina at the indoor bar and was dreading it, as it had only gotten more crowded. But once again, immediately upon my return, Martina found me and closed my tab for me. As usual, the food and drinks were delicious. But I really wanted to point out the exemplary service we received (esp by Martina and Hannah) on one of the craziest nights I've ever experienced at Shorebreak! Wonderfully run place, and the service really made the difference between a disastrous night and a memorable one.

Upon entry a sign signaled of BOGO burgers, and immediately my melancholy demeanor turned to excitement. Throughout our dinner we experienced great drinks, great service, and the best part... great camaraderie amongst my crew. Still reminiscing of our great time and would recommend to any common folk. Now comes the bad, when we received the bill; let me tell you I was shocked! When I read -$7.5 off as a freind and I ordered a $24 Burger and split the bill. Am I crazy? half of 24 is 12, why am I seeing 7.5? Being the astute young man I aspire to be, my first instinct is to question and deep dive. We were blindsided to hear that in Shorebreak's dictionary BOGO means by one burger get the second one $15 off or the price of the cheapest burger with no cheese, and no add-ons. There was no warning, no asterisk on the sign, no fine print on the menu. My review is not out of spite and not to spark any anger or backlash but to inform the general public of a clear cut example of false advertisement. like I said the food, service, views were well above par, and I happily paid my bill and spoke with the manager on duty of an obvious communication error that was received in an apathetic manner. PSA to all Shorebreaker's that BOGO is not what you think it is and I don't want to see any other unsuspecting users fall in the same trap. 4/5 stars food was great the sign could use and update.

As an entree, I had the whiskey burger with truffle fries. I really liked the cheese curds; they're a lot flavorful than traditional mozzarella sticks. The house made sangria was really good too! We had to stop ourselves from just sucking it down. The burger is where I had the issue. It was a little on the dry side.... Too well done despite asking for medium. It also wasn't seasoned well. The only flavor rally came from the bbq sauce and onion straws. The truffle fries were good though. The menu said they won't best burger of Virginia Beach, and that was made me get a burger. Not the best burger I've ever had. Next time, I will try the pizza and probably go to the Shore drive location since that is closer to my house.
