Shafer came out banged out the dents and got the system running for $175. Fast forward, the system stopped running a year later. Shafer did their best to repair it because our insurance company didn't want to pay for replacement, but it failed again this year. At this point they went above and beyond to show our insurance company how the initial damage from the ice had caused it to keep failing. The units were in decent shape, but the flush of the water heater proved the necessity of annual maintenance for enhancing the reliability of the critical systems.
