The food blew us away!!! we started with the beef carpaccio which we literally licked the plate clean. then my husband ordered the pig pizza which he deemed one of the best pizzas he has ever had in his life. First time here. Waiter arrived quickly and took our order. We got our drinks fairly quickly and they brought out the bread. Ok, first of all, the bread was nothing to get excited about. It legit reminded me of Sprouts French bread cut fancy and grilled. Like it had the signature shiny top of a store bought French bread. We paid $8 bucks for 4 pieces of bread and a measly 2 tbs of olive oil and a drizzle of balsamic. Nothing great and nothing you couldn't make at home. We waited FOREVER for our food. We ordered the prosciutto pizza and the meatball and bucatini pasta to share. I'll admit, the meatballs were SO good, but the rest was just so so. Something I could make at home. The pizza: ok, the topping combination was good, arugula, goat cheese, figs, parm, prosciutto: good! The crust, not good. Somehow it was soft on one side and hard on the other, but not burnt, just dried out hard? We make pizza at our house and the rule is, if the crust isn't good, the pizza isn't good. Maybe something they'll get better at over time? The vibe is cute, upscale, but not pretentious. Overall, we might come back with the kids, but maybe not anytime soon. read more

Unfortunately, this review will negative. The food was absolutely delicious but our waitress was really weird and rude which ultimately made the experience not a pleasant one. It started off with her not giving us enough straws. My daughter selflessly gave her straw to me as I was the only one missing one. My 9 year old politely asked the waitress for another straw only to be scolded by the waitress who told my daughter "WHY DID YOU LOSE YOUR STRAW? I GAVE YOU ENOUGH STRAWS? My daughter just stared at her confused? As she had a straw but had given it to me. What an odd way for a waitress to react over a child asking for an extra straw? It just seemed really inappropriate and everyone at our table thought it was strange. So I thought I'd bring it to someone's attention. read more

Tastes like regret and well vodka. * New Italian Spritz - 4/5. Summery and easy to drink. Would post up with this one on a patio. Food: * Truffle Bread - Heavy but fire. Like, cancel your dinner plans and just eat this. * Hot Honey + Prosciutto Pizza (Bomba style) - 4/5. Dough was legit, flavor combo worked. Solid order. * Kids Spaghetti - Homemade noodles were cool, but that sauce was suspiciously sweet. Like dessert sweet. * Kids Burger - Came on what looked like an English muffin. Why? No one knows. Bold move, though. Service: Woof. Had a rotation of about four different servers, and somehow the kid's burger got lost in the shuffle. It finally showed up after everyone else was done. Our first and maybe only time there. Although half our food was good (kids Alfredo, and ink squid tonnarelli). The other half was not. The chicken Parmesan was the over cooked and been sitting a while. Our service was good when they were at the table. We had to wait a long time for our small dish and main course to come. People around us got their food before us and we were there before them. We told our server about the chicken Parmesan, who said the manager would come over but we never saw anyone. Some friends and I decided to try this place for lunch one day shortly after it opened. The restaurant is lovely and the staff was great. I had the short rib lasagna and it was delicious. Our server was great but really pushed the appetizers even after we declined a few times and finally offered up some complimentary bread after the third "no". She then brought us three cold (and dry) slices of bread with some oil to dip it but it wasn't really good enough to bother eating. We all got the lasagna and enjoyed it, but it was pricey considering the bread situation. However it's nice to have an upscale restaurant in the area and this one is worth visiting. read more

Out of this world "Sunday Lasagna" was the best I've ever had! The spicy rigatoni is creamy, spicy and the rigatoni is so good, fresh and cooked to perfection. The pizza was amazing and just the right size, perfectly cooked. Love this place! read more

This is a 3 strikes your out review. 1st visit, customer service was okay. We sat at the bar. Food was good but wrong. When they attempted to fix the wrong meal, they still had it wrong. Second visit was also at the bar. We had to ask for service, but the food was right, I wouldn't say spectacular. 3rd time, we had reservations and they kindly sat us early. After 15 minutes and watching the neighbor booth not have drinks brought out for their app, we brought no service to their attention. We waited 3 minutes and walked out. Not likely to come back! Honestly, I don't think I'll ever go back. The salmon was soooo incredibly salty - the outer layer is crispy - almost fried but full of so much salt it was inedible. The overall flavor profile of the salmon dish was off. I sent the dish back and ordered the spicy vodka pasta with GF noodles and more than half the noodles were under cooked leaving the noodles dry and mealy. Not to mention the portion of the vodka pasta is small compared to their other dishes and still over priced. Anyway, the service was good but the food was questionable. As far as the ambiance goes, a young girl walked into the patio from outside the restaurant and was going table to table trying to sell candy for cheerleading which was a bit off putting. read more

It's exciting to have good Italian food in this part of the valley. I've gone twice now, and I'm impressed since it can take time for things to run smoothly. The atmosphere is fun, service is great, and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. The food is really good, and it's been fun trying different things each time I go. As a vegetarian there are a lot of options. I want to try pasta next time, with the meat removed. The eggplant Parmesan was delicious. read more

OK, this is our first time to go to this restaurant. The atmosphere was pretty nice. The restaurant itself was very clean. It was an upper class restaurant. We went on a Wednesday night and we were there around 6:30 7 o'clock. it was a 25 minute wait to get a table so we sat at the bar - the service was terrible. It took quite a while for our food to come out. I ordered the Bolognese (the house specialty) and it was terrible. The noodles were stuck together in clumps. There wasn't much of a taste to it. It didn't have very much sauce on it what I could taste of it, it tasted off, like they used a bad olive oil. The portion was very small as well. It was not good especially for being "The House Specialty". My partner ordered the tortellini it was good the sauce they used for it was OK but again the portion size was very small. It was over priced for the quality of food we got. Quite disappointed with this Resturant probably will not be going back. read more

Leaving this review on behalf of my wife and her friends. She has been excited to try this new restaurant and went yesterday with her two friends. They checked in, got on the waitlist, and an over an hour later finally gave up. During that hour, they checked in with the host multiple times, once being told that they were notified but did not show up so they gave their table to someone else, when in fact they were right there just outside the door receiving no communication. (Keep in mind, the staff would go out and call other people by name, not just text). Rather than owning up to the mistake, they added them to the wait list again, saying that they would have to go to the bottom of it. My wife's friend asked why, as that's not fair. Then they offered to seat them outside. 30 minutes later, still no seating. Excuse given multiple times was cleaning the table. All the while multiple other guests were seated, both inside and outside. They asked every 10 minutes the status always being told they need to clean the table. How long does it take to clean a table? Look, I was not there, but I've heard the story from all three of them. I'm not sure if this was some sort of discrimination play from the host or management, being that my wife and friends are Peruvian and Hispanic, or what. Needless to say, that is how they felt as they watched everyone else file in past them as they waited patiently. Did they look like people who could not pay a bill to the host, did they not fit the perception of elite people being served here? It's just ridiculous that expectations were not met at all. One of her friends runs another restaurant, and understands how busy things can get, etc, but she mentioned to me that this was a joke on another level. Perhaps others will go and have a great experience. And that's great. I for one will not be trying this place out (as I was looking forward to) due to how my wife and friends were treated. A business has one chance to create a memorable experience, and while that happened here, it's not the kind of memorable experience my wife and friends wanted. I'm not one to complain, but when crap like this happens, I will, especially when my wife (and friends) feels like they were treated like crap and ignored. To the owners, managers, and host of North Italia, do better. Or maybe just hang a sign out front that says no Hispanics welcome, because that is how you made them feel. read more

The atmosphere was great and that's the only positive thing I have to say. We got the bolognese and tortellini and was charged $18 for 7 pieces of tortellini and $22 for about a cup and a half of bolognese. The sauce was watered down with no seasoning. Tasted like they heated up a can of crushed tomatoes and called it sauce. Got the bread appetizer which was a joke $10 for 2 pieces of bread that they cut in half to make 4 pieces and put olive oil and parm cheese on it. They are extremely over priced for food that I cannot even say was good. very disappointing to have spent $115 and walk out still hungry. This was a total disgrace to Italian food! read more
