With minimal car knowledge I felt like I always am over charged or pressured, rather than actually helped. This was not the case at Buerkle Honda. I was helped right away by Amanda and she was so kind, helpful and patient with me. She gave me options on what works best for my needs, not what benefitted her the most. Val went right to work on helping me finance the vehicle, finding me the best rate through a credit union and explaining the loan and best way to tackle payments. It felt like for once the sales team had my best interest and wanted to make this experience great. I am in love with my pre-owned GMC Canyon and feel like I was able to get it at a fair price with terms I can manage. Also, the service team was also great in thoroughly looking over the truck to ensure everything was looking good. The Lifetime Warranty on the springs is only honored if you accept the additional suggested repairs. There is a flat charge if you decide not to use their services so you are in essence paying for the estimate. In all fairness,I believe the workers are well trained and competent but the companies businesses model and upselling of service makes me question the value.

Only 4 stars because while on the phone I asked a price for spring replacements to which I was told they range from about $94-394 per spring and they usually replace both at the same time. I was shocked when the technician showed up, did his inspection (he was very professional and knowledgeable), and then informed me they only have one spring available which happens to the be one at the top of the price range and there were no other options. He gave me quotes ranging from $900 up to $1900 for other various improvements. I was disappointed because I know pricing for this fix can be much lower but was in a pinch to get it fixed today and also didn't want to build the $85 service fee into potentially having someone else come look at it. Again, the service is great and the people are friendly but shop around if you have the time because I feel like I was mislead into having options when really there were none.

Before leaving, a Honda dealership in Denver told them they needed new tires but said there were no other issues. Even after Walmart installed the new tires, my daughter kept hearing a concerning noise. She trusted her instincts and knew something still wasn't right. Honda dealership then handed them a repair estimate of nearly $5,000 not including wheel barring, claiming they urgently needed a timing belt and a long list of other repairs. Ironically, they couldn't even fit them into their schedule before my family's planned vacation. Knowing they'd be coming to Minnesota, I searched for a trustworthy mechanic and found Eric through his outstanding reviews. Even though his schedule was already full, and I had only given him a days notice, Eric rearranged his workload to help us. What he found was shocking. The wheel bearing was severely worn and dangerous, yet it had been missed by others. Eric replaced the wheel bearing, completed the timing belt service, thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and, most importantly, was honest enough to tell us that many of the other expensive repairs recommended by the dealership simply were not necessary. My daughter and her family have now safely driven back to Colorado, and they said the Honda runs like new--it has a whole new "spunk" to it!
