I usually go to AT Subaru for service because that is where I got my 2015 cx5 Mazda and I've never had issues but I needed to get front brakes and they were booked for the next two weeks on a weekend so I called there and they gave me a decent price. Dropped my car off for my 830am appt. it's now 1pm and I called and they said it would be done till 4pm. Why have you still not looked at my car after almost 5 hours? There is no point in booking an appointment. Absolutely rude. Definitely going back to AT where they took only 2 hours to do my rotors and brakes oil change and tire rotation. read more

We've bought two cars from North Penn. No problems. I went in to check out and buy a 2016 Mazda 3 sedan. Despite being a quiet day (multiple salesmen standing around and no customers), they had 'just sold that one.' It is still on their website today. We found a hatch back, listed on sale also. We had to wait a long time to get the key to test drive. It turns out that the prices listed on their website are cash only. The salesman could not give us the manager's special because we wanted the 0% financing. You have to pay an extra $3,000 for the 0% financing. We left, drove up 309 and bought a much nicer (luxury) car for less money and less hassle. read more

Worst friggin service ever. I brought my truck in for a knocking noise in the front end a month ago and at first they claimed they didn't hear it. Upon taking the tech and service advisor for a road test, they ended up hearing it and "repaired" the noise. However, now I'm hearing a knock and crunch in my front end, brought it back, again they claimed they didn't hear the issue and again I brought the service advisor out for a road test where he eventually heard the noises of my concern. Well, they claim it was "NORMAL" and that it was the abs braking system module and it cannot be replaced. I have a 2015 CX5 and it should NOT be making ANY noise!?! I'll never take my truck back to this dealership after getting a second opinion from another dealership, who has made it very clear the noises I'm hearing are certainly NOT from the abs braking system! I may be a female but I'm far from stupid and it's degrading and an insult to my intelligence to have someone tell me it's "normal". This dealership doesn't even deserve a half a star. read more

I entered North Penn Mazda with high hopes because I had heard nice things about the dealership. I initially inquired about the possibilities of buying or leasing a Mazda 3 or possibly a Mazda 6 to our salesperson, Luis Mendoza. I did mention that I was in no rush to buy a car and wanted to take my time to make sure I found the right car within my budget, however, if I truly loved the car I could increase my budget to make the deal work. Luis, a bit hapless and long winded, described the 2 vehicles and eventually took me out to test drive both. Both cars were beautiful. When we were done test driving both cars I asked to test drive a Miata MX-5. It was then that Luis refused to allow me to test drive the vehicle stating that "management does not like to let people test drive the Miata unless they are really serious about buying it." Shocked at his response I replied that I couldn't possibly consider buying a vehicle without test driving it. He then reiterated that he did not think I was "serious" and REFUSED to let me test drive the car. Dumbfounded and annoyed at this prime example of poor salesmanship and terrible customer service, I immediately left North Penn Mazda and went directly to Faulkner Mazda (which was much closer to my house.) They provided me with a wonderful experience from start to finish. I ended up loving the Miata so much that I bought one from them a few days later. And their customer service was so exceptional that I referred one of my best friends to also buy a car at Faulkner from the salesman that helped me. What I did not mention to Luis while at North Penn was that I was already pre-approved for a $36,000 loan and could have bought a car that day from him. The truly depressing part about my experience at North Penn Mazda was that prior to his refusal to test drive a vehicle, he was actually doing an adequate job of answering my questions and describing each vehicle to me. Had he been a better salesman or had a stronger sense of good customer service and let me drive the Miata at North Penn he would have had a very easy sale from me and then another potentially easy sale from my friend a few days later. (Not to mention, my girlfriend also loves my car and is now looking to possibly purchase a Mazda.) I am utterly shocked and saddened by my experience at North Penn Mazda. I have never written a bad review online before now. Ever. Usually I will only write a good review when the business does a stellar job and will just abstain from a review when their performance was lacking. Yet when you are potentially looking to hand someone $30,000 of your hard earned income for a car and they actively try to prevent you from purchasing the vehicle of your choosing, you become compelled to write about it to the business. I can only assume that this is not how the dealership usually conducts their business and that my experience was purely the product of a bumbling and inept salesperson. I have seen many good reviews about the dealership online and would have probably bought more cars there in the future had I enjoyed a better experience. Unfortunately, the salesman representing North Penn Mazda, Luis Mendoza, really dropped the ball and ultimately lost out on multiple commissions that Jon from Faulkner Mazda is now enjoying. I truly hope that this review will make North Penn Mazda aware of this employee's dismal sales acumen and hopefully correct it so that no other customer will have my experience. And if it doesn't, I hope at the very least this review will give potential buyers doubts about doing business with such a dealership. read more

However, Ken, Service Manager, helped alleviate my worries. From when I first called first thing in the morning following the accident up until I picked up my car from being repaired a week later I had nothing but pleasant exchanges with him. Ken walked me through each and every step and made me feel comfortable with the work that was going to be done, as well as provided the lowest quote as compared to the other body shops I checked out.
