Juan Valdez Demo (you can find it in aisle 5!)
Michelle C.

I recently visited here to do a Demo for Juan Valdez coffee. The manager and all the staff were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful toward me and I could see the customers were happy to be there. I witnessed customers receiving exceptional customer service and I myself did as well. The establishment itself was nice and they had lots of products I don't find in most supermarkets. It was clean, well organized, and well stocked as well.

Antipasto from North Shore Farms

They renovated & refreshed this place so well that you can't even tell it used to be an old, run-down Waldbaum's. You walk into a really vibrant produce section and the smell of coffee samples. We don't love the meat section - but everything else is awesome. They have such a good deli counter (the kale power salad is incredible), create your own salad bar, soup station, fresh bread & pastry counter and an incredible selection of cheeses, dips and produce. I come in here whenever I'm hosting an event because you can make the most amazing antipasto or meat/cheese plate. Love it!

Delicatessen

Stew Leonard's, Uncle Giuseppe's, Iavarone Brothers, Fairway and Northshore Farms are so much more than just grocery stores. The only question is can they all coexist on Long Island and survive. Regardless of those mentioned, Northshore Farms been one of my favorite grocery stores in the area where we shop often. They provide always fresh meat, fish and chicken at favorable prices. They have a decent bakery also. And I do love their cheese and delicatessen section. It may be a further from my house than some of their competitors mentioned above, but it's worth the drive for me to get better pricing with the same if not better quality than grocery stores closer to my home. Please don't take it from me, check it out yourself.

Rotten tomatoes

I go to this super market occasionally. On SEVERAL occasions the produce is rotten and literally has mold on it. I understand it happening once in a blue moon but to see several workers working around it and not throwing it out is appalling!!! If there produce is this rotten what about there fish and meats!!!!! I'm including pictures from Sunday afternoon!

Great Homemade Holiday cookies.. Better than Meat Farms or Stew Leonard's

Their products are not fresh, often smelly and old, especially the cheeses and prepared foods.

Baked Breads and deli salads are amazing. But Giuseppe's cakes and pastries are 100 times better.

Treated poorly, sabotaged and nobody would speak to me in a language I understood unless upper management was around. After all the training and staying extra hours because I was the 3rd person that I know of this happening to:they did not want to fix the problems and relatives (theirs and management knows that relatives all of them basically are in that department)in the same department....easiest thing for them to do was move me(why?) to another less paying department and I had to be retrained:SOUND FAIR TO YA'LL.... No I was told it's just too bad and there was multiple meetings about this because their behavior is being alotted. I REFUSE TO SHOP AT A STORE THAT LETS ONE GROUP GANG UP AGAINST SOMEONE THAT ONLY WANTED TO COME AND DO THEIR JOB. Footnote:I speak enough Spanish to know what basically was being said. Very basic but it was enough. Shame on this store for letting this continue to happen. I had to leave and I actually liked my job and hours(but they bullied me cause I hadn't hit my days yet to make union...that was on their side.Should not abuse union rights!)ALWAYS STAND UP FOR YOURSELF...you may be a voice for someone that hasn't found theirs yet‍

I do but dont shop there .. did once. Too far when others r closer. Prices were good.read more

The Asian shopkeepers you got to know. And, you knew you were getting a wonderful product and that you did not mind spending the extra well spent money! I guess it is just a sign of the times -- make more and give less! The quality of the foods and veggies and so on has to be examined by the owners because it's so so obvious that corners were cut in order to it save some money. he's has a new vendor who subpar. And this is a sign of the times? Pop that up on quality put items in smaller containers pay top dollar and not care about the Royal following it originally had. It's all about the Almighty dollar! Most of us in commack did not blink an eye when we purchased this wonderful wonderful fruit from the original sunny forms. As he played classical soothing music we looked at the produce and the variety and money became inconsequential. It is not too late please go back to the vendors that you once had. The shift is hurting your business thank you
