Tiny hole in the wall, but the sandwiches are bomb! There is going to be a line. It goes pretty quickly, but if you're not willing to wait, order ahead on a delivery app. The wait isn't too bad in relation to the line. They pump these out

Delicious breakfast Sandy. Their sauce was really good. Food came out quick. Messy eating but delicious.

Nice place to grab and go. Service was fast but there was a line. It's a sandwich place that offers multiple options. The artie party was my favorite. They have a nice little outdoor seating area and perfect place to stop on a nice day.

The food was amazing. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had. The avocado toast was incredible. The pop tart was fantastic. We had the cinnamon one. The service was great. Not a long wait for food despite it being busy. Not a lot of seating, but we took our food over to the water and enjoyed there. The staff were very friendly. We never felt rushed. Definitely going to be back and highly recommend!

Sunny girl is a very popular spot for breakfast - especially on the weekends! Be prepared to wait it out, even if you order ahead on Toast. We always get the English muffin, egg, and cheese sammy without the special sauce. My hubby likes these too. He also most recently had their salmon lox bfast sammy with an egg and he loved it. Don't forget to get an orange or grapefruit juice - not fresh squeezed but it's Natalie's which is the next best thing. They also have a collab going with Weesh bakery and we tried their cookies n cream pop tart. It was so tasty! Would love it if they have more flavors to choose from next time. They have a couple of tables out front where you can sit with your pup or if those are filled, just chill on the wall of the flower garden. This place is pretty small so doubt they have bathrooms but if you go across the street, there are public restrooms in the building where Starbucks is - just keep walking toward the harbor and you'll see the entrance on your left.

Best BEC in Boston, hands down. I live in NYC, so I'm a food snob. Boston has some mid restaurants (it's true). This place isn't mid, and I wish I knew about this place before!!! The people who work there are mad nice. Just great service and great food.

Omg. It's both a blessing and a curse that I do not live closer to Sunny Girl b/c I would be here all the time and eat my way through the menu. Tried the OG and the egg yolk alone ...! The homemade English muffin! It sounds very simple in theory, just egg, cheese, and bread, but the combination works so well. It's a relatively small sandwich, yet it more than filled me up. (Also, better chow down when it's still steaming hot because it didn't taste as good after being jostled around in my pocket.) There's not much seating inside but in nicer weather, they have tables set up outside and you can take your muffin to eat by the water. Also gotta give Sunny Girl points for accepting takeout orders at the height of the weekend brunch crush, as not many places do that. Can't wait to come back and try a few of the other items.

I understand the hype!! The sandwiches are SO. GOOD. I've never been obsessed with English muffins until I had one from Sunny Girl. It's pretty small inside so I'd recommend ordering ahead for takeout as there isn't much seating. But the people are very friendly and speedy. Most importantly, all their food tastes delicious and was pretty affordable pricing for Boston!

This is the best breakfast we had in Boston. Hands down. Every time I asked where we should eat that day, she always responded, "Sunny Girl!" We seriously could eat there on a very regular basis. This cosy eatery is a vibe. It is a pot with old charm and character. I loved the bar that ran along the front windows and overlooked the sidewalk. Nothing better than people watching while talking with friends and eating. There are even outside tables. They have an inventive menu of absolutely delicious sandwiches. I had a hard time choosing which one I was going to eat. I had the truffle shuffle and my wife the breakfast sandwich. They also have fresh juices, unique drinks, and high quality coffee. And the handmade "pop tart-like" pastries (we loved it). There were several people eating there, but they also had an endless flow of pick-up orders. Check it out, you'll love it.

Clearly I can't get enough of this spot, it's one of my most frequented restaurants in the city--one that I constantly crave and recommend. Their flavors back such a uniquely flavorful punch, creating an emphasis of decadent flavors in your mouth without exhausting you of their taste. UNMATCHED english muffins as well, and I'll die on that hill. What's even more exciting is their brand new dinner menu offering a weekly rotating special and wide selection of delicious burgers, and yes they're served on the english muffins. Trust me, you can't miss this spot--breakfast, lunch, or dinner it's doesn't matter, they're all just as special! Service is fast and the place just filled with joyful energy at all times. It's truly the spot to be.

If you are looking for the best breakfast sandwich in Boston here it is. And I've tried the infamous Mike and Patty's and in my opinion it's no match to Sunny Girl. The service is fast and the sandwiches are amazing. The English muffin is what makes it so unique it's homemade and the most delicious English muffin I have ever tried. Also the sunny sauce is outstanding and really makes the sandwich moist. But I order the OG, add sausage, no cheese, on focaccia ( because I try to avoid dairy ) and the English muffin has dairy in it, and it's fantastic. But if you can get the English muffin it's a must.

I'd really like to downgrade this review on the account that the cashier lowkey, but pretty savagely, made fun of me in the checkout process. Had the sandwiches not lived up to the hype... I definitely would have. But, alas, the sandwiches were quite delicious and despite the establishment being quite busy -- our food came out in a VERY respectable amount of time. I would (will) return and I will be praying that the same cashier is not present....

I got the truffle shuffle and it was really good! All the ingredients mixed well together and the focaccia wasn't dry. The place is small so there's not many places to sit so I would do takeout. When I ordered takeout the food was ready fast.

The smell of bacon was too good to keep moving past it and we decided to head inside. Best happy accident!! Any place that has staff wearing shirts that say "Stoked for yolks" and has an array of pig decor- jackpot! The small menu was deliciously stacked with breakfast and lunch options; the griddle was sizzling, there's a drink fridge, and a spot to stand and consume. My husband got a turkey and I did a ruby melt; SO GOOD! I perused the menu, and the breakfast options all looked incredible! If you find yourself on this end of Tremont and you smell amazing bacon, follow your nose to Mike and Patty's - you will not be disappointed! Also, staff was super friendly! This place is a total package!

There's a small park with shaded benches about 2 blocks away (Elliot Norton Park) which is a great place to sit down and devour the food. I ordered the Mission Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious. As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!

First of all, the pastry case just beautifully displays all the baked goods. It's quite a sight to see! I love the variety and flavors, very unique. If you know what you want, gotta get in line and grab it quick! If you wanna put in your own order, you can use the kiosk, which is really fun to use. I ordered a chai with oat milk (it's very light in flavor) and got a bialy. Honestly I had not had a bialy in over 25+ years... and was surprised to see it in the case and I had to have it. A corn + cheddar bialy. It did NOT disappoint. I also got london fog with oat milk previously, also very nice, but this place was soooo good we had to come back. My daughter loves pop tarts so when she saw it in the case, she got a blueberry pop tart and said it was very flakey and the jam was very jamful. It was the-last-one, even had the sign stuck in it!! She also got the french toast (2 slices) with kid's milk and said it was the best french toast she's ever had. My sis got a chocolate pain suisse, which I had never seen before. It's basically brioche filled with pastry cream and chocolate. It looked delicious and with coffee, my sis ate the whole thing up. All in all, this place has so much delicious eats.. I can understand if you live here, you could come every morning and still not get to everything in the pastry case! Definitely be back if we're in the Boston area again.
