Buyer Beware!!! Dr. Kashani will tell you all kinds of wonderful things - he's a con artist and sales man. He owns this office as well as a couple others and he made a deal with me that was too good to be true. I have traveled to Thailand 4 times working with the Malo Clinic in Bangkok and had been working up the courage to get the All-On-4 PERMANENT titanium reinforced dentures. After meeting Dr Kashani for an extraction, I told him about my plans and he told me he would do the same thing for the same price. After getting paid, he had a different surgeon do the surgery (he was afraid of having a failure on his record as I was in the process of quitting smoking). The temporary dentures came loose and cut my gum. I thought it was infected but Dr Pauline didn't think so - 3 days later, I had to have a 2.5 hour surgery to remove the infection - missed an infection? Incompetent. Now I had to wait another 4 months to get the finals and this is when it changed - now they said I would be getting the cheaper "snap-on" over-dentures instead of the permanent fixed dentures. Over and over, they tried to fit these cheap teeth and they never fit right - each time they went to the lab, it was 10 days to 2 weeks before getting them back. For just under 2 years, I've been going back and forth. I confronted them earlier about the change in dentures and now I'm told it was always for snap-ons. Yes... I took him to Small Claims court and he lied - under oath. I did not lie but i also don't hand confrontation well - I did not present my case very clearly. He's a master at manipulation. I lost the case! Kangaroo Court. He will lie and lie and lie after he has your money. Check every code on the quote you get to make sure he's giving you what he promises. I did not check the codes. Example - code d5110 is for "complete denture - maxillary". That's what it said on my quote. I looked it up and all it says is "removable denture"!!! Ambiguous enough? He could have given me wooden teeth and I would not have been able to fight it. I did not look up the codes and agreed to a verbal arrangement - never thought he might lie to me. He cares nothing about your dental health - just his bottom line. DO NOT TRUST THEM - there are plenty of other dentists, many with labs on site. Stay away from this outfit unless you like wasting time and money. BTW... Dr Kashani NEVER saw me after the initial surgery, just in passing at the office. He never followed up or looked at the work himself, I was left to his minions and their incompetence. read more

Denti-Cal representative spoke with the office staff Claudia, explaining these were covered costs and they continued to insist we pay. Denti-cal says they will investigate this office. First I would like to say that I have given this office plenty of time to remedy the situation before writing this. I went to this dentist because my primary stated I need a tooth extracted which I already knew. I walk in and tell them I am only there for one tooth and asked them to limit the X-rays to the one particular tooth. That didn't happen, they did X-rays of the full mouth (fmx). Next the dentist explains what I need and then some. The bill was beyond ridiculous as I only needed one tooth extracted, not a crown, not a build up, not a bone graft! Before I leave the treatment coordinator walks in of course to try and scam and get what money they can without even sending anything to the insurance and she has her son there at work with her!!! He is in a tiny closet adjacent to the bathroom so when a patient goes to use the restroom he's in the room connected. So I asked for pain medication (only 600 mg of ibuprofen) and antibiotics, and I was assured that it would happen. The following day there is nothing at the pharmacy, this going back and forth was every day for the entire week while each time I'm told it was sent. I went over my info and the pharmacy info to ensure there was no issue. I spoke to the pharmacist who my family and I have gotten to know well and they assured nothing was in nor no one called in a rx since that was another lie the dental office said. The website says they help with emergencies and I called them on it. I also said I would report it and file a complain. I am sure they assumed i was bluffing. I worked for dental insurance for 17 years and I know my rights and all the tricks some of these offices try to pull. My point is, Do Not, Do Not give this office any chance to try and take your money and waste your time. They seem inviting in the phone but they are not in the business to help those in pain. I was in pain and literally in tears on the chair. The sad thing is, I'm still in pain. They also never sent the information to the insurance to get approved and it's been 7 days. Electronically the insurance should have it in 2 days. My appointment was at 3:30, I got there at 3 and left at 530. Always keep in contact with your dental insurance, before paying anything ask the office for a treatment plan and share it with the insurance verbally by asking them what your out of pocket should be. If you are not satisfied, file a complaint to your insurance company and the dental board. You as a consumer have every right to be treated well. I wish I could give zero stars! read more

I got fillings done about maybe 3 years ago and then a couple months later I started having an aching pain when chewing on one of my top molars and they told me that there was a cavity under my filling so now I will need a crown and they said they would charge me a discounted rate of $1,500 to get it fixed because now I need a crown. The cavity happened because they did not do the fillings correctly and the fillings were supposed to prevent getting any cavities, fast forward it's still not fixed and now I have to go find a place who will charge me less to be able to get a crown. Wow. I've been to many different dentists in my life and let me tell you.. THIS IS THE BEST DENTIST OFFICE OF ALL TIME!! The dental assistant Anthony is by far the greatest and made this a very pleasant experience. He's super friendly and does things the right way. For example, I had 3 tough extractions and during the process he reminds you to breath (huge help as funny as that might sound. Absolutely amazing. I have been waiting for them to call me and set up my teeth cleaning since January 4th. They have the approval from my ins company. I've called, emailed, and have done my due diligence. They tell me they are backed up, that they are busy, that they will have someone contact me. They even said that if I wanted to find somewhere else to do it to go ahead. Today was my first appointment for a second opinion. I saw Dr Aida, Dr Nouri and Anthony(dental assistant). Anthony took full mouth X-rays (digital) and photos. Both Dr Nouri and Dr Aida did a full exam since my current dentist recommended some extensive work that would have been very costly. It appears the work is NOT necessary! A gentleman dressed in scrubs came into my place of work to solicit a teeth whitening voucher for $65 valued at over $400 . I have proof of entire transaction on store footage. When I went to redeem this voucher, the dentit office preceded to tell me they could not whiten my teeth without me first getting all of my cavities fixed and a deep cleaning, for close to a thousand dollars, I said I don't have that money, they then said, ok we can go as low as $600. I refused and told them there was no mention of this on voucher, they then said "fine we will give you the whitening trays but it is not going to have any affect on whitening without the deep cleaning." I said that is fine, I still want what I paid for. Another person came back into the room to say ok we just need the $65 now, I said, I already paid it to the man who sold me the voucher, which is why.... I have a voucher saying paid! They said that is not proof and need to first speak to DR to confirm payment and that could take weeks because quote "he is a doctor and very busy" I then remembered that I had video proof of the whole transaction from store camera and they replied that this was not sufficient. A couple of days pass and I call to get the service or a refund because I am tired of waiting for their call. They then tell me that the proof of voucher payment is no longer the issue, That the voucher indeed is proof that I paid. The dr is now refusing service because of my tartar "build up". I am furious. They give me an 877 number to contact Harley myself because they have never heard of him and this is the first time they have ever seen a voucher for their company. I am at a loss for words. I tried to report this to a fraud site but was instructed to contact police as this falls under theft. Update 3:30pm I just received a phone call from Dr. Isaac Kashani trying to strong arm me into taking down my review. He claims he has 3 locations and the staff was unaware of the voucher that's why it was mishandled.He said he would refund me or give me the service I paid for if I took down the review. I responded that I would edit it after being refunded to still reflect an honest review. He replied those are two different things and that If I refused to remove it then he will not refund me. And that he doesn't care who I report him to and that there are quote "scammers everywhere " and laughed. I refused. Call ended. This is insane. read more

I chose the right place when I went to Northridge Advanced Dentistry. Dr. Kashani and his team are just the best! I had a complicated wisdom tooth extraction for all four of my wisdom teeth and they did it so well. I initially went to another clinic and that's how I was able to compare the services. The other clinic did a really poor job in accepting and treating patients, the dentist was not compassionate at all, she just didn't care! I had the opposite experience with Dr. Kashani and his team, all of them are very warm, genuine, and calming. I was very anxious about this oral surgery I had since it's the first time I ever had a tooth extracted, but their team really helped me thru it! They are all amazing and they are all very commendable! Everyone in the valley shpuld go to this dental clinic. You will never go wrong! I highly recommend Dr. Kashani and his team! Pushy doctors that refuse to listen and have an unyielding incapability to hear what their patients say. The ADA should take a look at this place. Last July I had an infected wisdom tooth extracted. I was frustrated with how dismissive the doctor was of my pain during the extraction despite essentially screaming, therefor I hoped it was just that one specific doctor who had poor listening skills. Shame on me for giving the benefit of the doubt to this place. I made an appointment for today because of extreme pain, and this is how it turned out. I was taken back and greeted by a technician, Serena, that said she would be taking a full mouth X-ray. Before any work began, I made it clear to the very kind Serena that I could only afford $300 worth of work today. She assured me that their office doesn't charge for X-rays, so we continued. She was very pleasant and even shared a lovely anecdote about her mother while preparing to do the X-rays. Serena was sweet and thorough, so I hope if she ever reads this she looks for another place to work because good techs like her shouldn't be overshadowed by greedy inattentive doctors. The doctor arrived, Dr Ahkavan, and I was told I needed a root canal. I made it clear that a $2000 dollar procedure wasn't possible today because I only have $300 available to give them for anything that might be done. (Side note: My previous dentist who retired would typically work with me to the best of his ability and say something like "we can do this temporary solution today to save you money that may or may not alleviate the pain, even though I recommend we do this procedure.") But Dr Ahkavan made no such attempt. Instead of LISTEN to what I said, and potentially find a different cost effective way to help me, Dr Ahkavan pushed and said "we have financing. You can get a co-signer". I said, that's not possible because my credit isn't that great and I would not be getting a co-signer. Dr Ahkavan again dismissed my statement, and said someone would be in shortly to discuss the finances with me. Not options available, just finances. Then the woman at the front desk came to show me the amount I would be paying should I choose to move forward. The total at the bottom was $2,300 dollars for a root canal in two separate parts with a note beside it in purple pen labeled *Financing 122.78* After making it clear on numerous occasions that I was limited to $300? So instead of provide me with a temporary solution (like my previous dentist) that was also cost effective like a filling, or a prescription topical cream for pain, Dr Ahkavan ignored EVERYTHING I said and chose to put me down for a root canal. Seriously? I immediately asked how much I owed for the work done so far, and the woman from the front desk said I didn't owe anything. I immediately left without another word. This place is a complete scam, and they had no intention or interest in working to find a different solution to ease the pain temporarily for me. I am never recommending this place to anyone, and Dr Ahkavan should be ashamed of herself. read more
