I had an incredibly disappointing and suspicious experience with Northside Collision. My 2021 BMW X7 was sent here as part of a USAA claim, and the level of service was unacceptable. The front right side of the vehicle was damaged. First, after the vehicle sat at their shop for weeks, they admitted on December 23rd that they did not even have a technician available to work on my car and couldn't provide a start date because they hadn't even started disassembly. Second, the estimates provided by this shop were highly questionable. The estimate jumped from $20k to over $33k without any work being performed. Most concerning was that they included "damages" to tires and rims on the left side of my vehicle--a side that was never involved in the accident. When I sought a second opinion from a BMW certified shop, they confirmed that the "mechanical issues" (specifically a steering shaft replacement) Northside claimed were necessary were not supported by the test results. It felt as though this shop was working in tandem with the insurance company to inflate the estimate just enough to "total" the vehicle rather than repair it. Between the lack of staffing, the inconsistent communication from Marie, Christopher, the manager Nate, and the inaccurate damage reports, I would strongly caution anyone--especially those with luxury vehicles--against using this facility. read more

I went there to show them my windshield end of May it was leaking (they installed the windshield) so they made an appt for 3 weeks later to bring the car in appt was on Monday at 8am, it's now Wednesday & I have called twice to not have my calls returned and someone just told me they haven't even looked my car! Why did I need an appt then? And why can't anyone return a call?? Don't recommend this place!! read more

Northside Collision in Cicero is the only company I would trust to repair body damage. After being slammed into, my car required extensive work. Everything came out beautifully, even the metallic paint was matched like factory. If you need your auto body repaired, I wouldn't go anywhere other than Northside Collision. This BodyShop does nothing MUCH LESS than what they should. Took my vehicle there after a rear end collision by an unlicensed driver. They DID NOT do an entire preliminary estimate and said that basically in their "OPINION" only the bumper needed to be replaced. After over 2 months they FINALLY got my car in and tried to just slap on a used bumper and call it a day. EVEN THOUGH directional lights on drivers side of vehicle were NOT working, grinding sounds in all four wheels and engine light had been on SINCE accident. StateFarm stated they are jut really a BodyShop mainly and would have to take to another facility for anything else AFTER I waited OVER 2 MONTHS. Finally called insurance, stated I was bringing it to the Volkswagen dealer who had all the service records on the car and was a FULL SERVICE SHOP. When I picked up the car NorthSide Collison had tampered with my CarCam Security had removed it to TAPE the Front and BACK fully with TAPE and only the fly on the wall knows "What Else". This repair had NOTHING to do with my CarCam or tampering with personal security property in the car. If they had any concerns they should have contacted me in regards to the Camera, BUT NO, they just tampered with the Personal property and got the lenses all out of sync from tampering with the CarCam and TAPING IT UP. Why would they do this other than WHAT do they have to hide in their business dealings that made them go to SUCH EXTREMES to tamper with some one else's property? I will NEVER deal with NorthSide Collison or any business affiliated with NorthSide Collison. The verbal run around and avoiding the questions and tampering & damaging personal property is more that enough for ANYONE to stay away from ANY of their facilities!!! read more

Overall, my experience has been incredibly frustrating. Do NOT trust the texts from 81930! I was promised that my car would be done on a specific day and that I would be contacted if there were any delays. Neither were true. When I showed up to pick up my car, I was told "Oh, someone will call you." There was no point in arguing. My car wasn't done. I had arranged transportation...and would have to again. The text alerts and Carwise website were not accurate. When my car was first brought in, I was told over the phone that a piece broke when they removed the rear bumper. So, they broke a piece of my car taking it apart...and I have to pay for it. Be careful! They do not take credit cards! A Google search will tell you that they do. Also, unless insurance is paying, they want half of the estimate up front. read more

I brought my daughters car to NSC and was promised a rental , 5 weeks in after they looked it over submitted a estimate received a check . Now the car is totaled out. And no rental , I talked to a receptionist and she must have been having a bad day as we all do , but keep you attitude out of the work place . 9/25/2018 I stopped into NSC to get a NYS inspection on my vehicle. I went here because I had my bumper on my 2013 Scion TC replaced the year before when someone struck me from behind on Carrier Circle. Of course I'd take my car to some place I trusted. Fast forward to this morning. I was greeted by a brown haired woman sitting at the front desk area. I greeted her back and asked her how long would it take to get a NYS inspection. She didn't seem to know the answer so she turned to her left and asked the older blonde haired woman how long it would take. The older woman looked at her, glanced over at me, turned back facing her computer monitor and said it depends on whether there's a mechanic on site. I said if there is how long does it take? She never looked up but replied a couple of hours. I then asked what if there was no mechanic on site. She replied then they'd have to schedule an appointment a week out. She never looked at me while talking to me outside the first glance over. She was rude. She acted like answering these questions were not her priority. She had a very negative stans about her. This is what greets you when you come to do business here at NSC. Lemme just say secondly, a WEEK OUT?! NYS only gives you a week to get the inspection to begin with and then some woman behind the counter is gonna be rude?? Where's the superb customer service?? Terribly sad for a family owned business that's grown the way they have over decades to conduct business like this in this day in age. Anywoo, went right across the street to VALVOLINE got my NYS inspection in roughly 20 min for $22. The crew over there was polite, responsive and diligent. I took my older motor home in because the roof air was damaged in an accident and there was also some delamination of the right side fiberglass. Appointment was made and time line given to me by AL. The jobs appear to be excellent the price was good and the coach delivered back to me on time. read more

The technicians at Northside were great! My car was damaged as a result of an accident and needed to have my bumper replaced. The work was done in a week and they kept me updated on the progress. I was notified promptly of a delayed part and the work was done well. Upon pickup, I noticed that there was a scratch in the paint where due to the work and some moulding was out of place. I called them and they were more than happy to make it right. The car paint was repaired and the moulding was put back the way it should have been. Everyone was very nice and made me feel taken care of. Hopefully, I'll never need them again, but I highly recommend the work done here. read more

I had my van front end repaired at Northside collision. I was extremely please with the communication from the repair shop. The estimated time to be completed was 5 weeks, and I had my vehicle back in 1 1/2 weeks. The staff members called me every 2 days to give me an update on my vehicles progress, and what to expect next. I was able to get a free loaner car in a reasonable amount of time (2 week wait) since my damaged vehicle was drivable. The entire staff was courteous, and friendly. There was no problems in dealing with the insurance company. The whole experience was very efficient and hassle free. I would not take my vehicle anywhere else except Northside Collision. read more

My car was hit in a parking lot over the Christmas holidays and I took it to Northside Collision in Baldwinsville basically because it was close and had a good reputation. I admit that I am a very picky person when it comes not only to the final product but also the service along the way. Northside Collision was absolutely flawless in every s\aspect. They explained everything in advance, arranged for a rental car to pick me up ON TIME when I dropped off and did the work perfectly. I brought my car back to Northside Collision as I have had previous work done there with excellence through the Camillus location. The staff kept me updated about the progress of the repairs but fell a little short when communicating when they were complete. The repairs were done well and it looked brand new. The inside was not given as much care as the Camillus location had however, in their defense I think Cicero has a higher volume of cars so I understand they may not be able to spend as much time on each individual vehicle. Regardless, a job well done and I will continue to bring my business to them! read more
