    Comfy waiting area
    Dot K.

I had my Subaru inspected here today. Ryan, the service manager, was delightful to work with. The waiting area has comfy couches, free cookies, and a drinking fountain. They used to have a small refrigerator with bottled water available for customers, but not any more.

I did oil change and tire rotation 7 days ago, my car tire is loosing, shaking, and making noise after the tire rotation. I made reschedule and they said the problem I am facing it's natural. They didn't even diagnose my car Not accepted. Because my car is brand new And I feel rotation wasn't right Will never go back After tire rotation it's still says B1 that means they didn't do the tire rotation right.

Average interaction with a salesperson who really didn't know what they were talking about. She tried though.

Rumor has it, you're overpaying for work that you can get cheaper elsewhere. However, I don't trust "those other places". This place tells you what you need to hear: good, bad or ugly...but at the end of the day, it's the truth. Choose to do what you want with that info, but it's your choice. I went in for a standard oil change, and tire rotation. I bought a package of three oil changes and tire rotation because there's a discount (of some sort) if you buy it as a package. The good news is they keep track of the packages and can tell you how many you've used or have left (bc to be honest, who has time to keep up with such list of to-do's, right?)...And so this goes back to my first statement, they're trustworthy. I had no problems at all. They did an oil change, tire rotation and an induction cleaning of my engine in under 2 hours. Overall, I'm very happy. I have no complaints and yes, I would recommend to anyone needing a trustworthy place to take your car for service.

Told me I needed to replace the electric fans. Motors seized. Recommended aftermarket Fans. Then it was wiring harness for fans, then TPM. Still malfunctioning turn signals. Was told " I wouldn't worry, they work good enough". Until I can't pass inspection in my state. I never had issues with my turn signals until Northtown Dodge repaired my vehicle.

Exterior signage on the building is not the best, so it can be a challenge to find the right service entrance upon arrival - there are other Northtown vehicle dealerships sharing the same parking lot and there is more than one service location, for different brands. Staff were friendly. The waiting area is comfortable and has a charging station for phones etc, free coffee and cookies, a vending machine with snacks, a tv (wish the remote had been available to change it from news though, would love to see sports on there!), and I saw coloring books and crayons too so kids can be occupied. It's four stars instead of five for two reasons - one, they misplaced my keys and it took an unreasonably long time to find them, and the second vehicle also took a longer time to pick up than I think it should have. Two, although they send video walkthroughs of several things on the vehicle (tire tread, etc), there is no description either in the video or in the paperwork of exactly what the video is showing or what things mean. Obviously green is good, red is bad, but... are those brake pads (my assumption) or something else? How long does it take to go from yellow to red on the little test things? I'd love more discussion or a flyer so I can understand what is being shared.

Just reiterating how poor the follow up here is.

He showed us a few cars and when due to a small technicality we encountered a small issue with financing, not only did he fix it, he got our interest rate cut in half! He followed up and made sure we were taken care of. When a small issue came up with one of the keys to the Lexus, he was very responsive and although we have not resolved it yet, there's not a doubt in my mind that he will make it right. There was a small mix up in price during our shopping experience that nearly brought me to tears! (The car that I loved turned out to be a lot higher priced than I was told) and after walking away thinking I will have to buy something else, he worked with management and a couple days later was able to lower the price a lot...Now, I understand that this sounds a lot like a tactic and I've bought enough cars to know it; However, it was an honest correction and I'm pretty sure they lost money on the deal because of their commitment to customer service and the original error.... Overall, very good experience with this sales person and the company.

BUYER BEWARE!!! My wife and I traveled from Pittsburgh, PA…read moreto Basil Resale Sheridan in Buffalo, NY after confirming availability of a used 2024 Infiniti QX50 Sport listed in their inventory. Local availability for this model--particularly AWD--was extremely limited, so we were willing to make the six‑hour round trip only after very clear assurances. Prior to the trip, I spoke directly with Sales Manager Patrick Schultz and his assistant Jose. I explicitly stated that we were driving from out of state and that we were prepared to purchase the vehicle immediately if it met basic, clearly defined conditions: the car needed to drive straight, show no visible body damage, have no unusual odors, and be in genuinely "great condition." We had already test‑driven this model locally and were not browsing--we were buying. Based on their repeated assurances, photos they sent, and their insistence that the car "drove like new" and had no issues, we proceeded. We added the vehicle to our insurance and brought a cashier's check for the agreed amount, expecting a quick transaction. Upon arrival on February 14, those assurances immediately unraveled. Before even leaving the lot, a red warning light was illuminated on the dashboard. During a short drive, my wife noticed severe visual distortion through the windshield, resembling a fun‑house mirror. Upon switching seats, it became obvious the windshield had been replaced with a low‑quality aftermarket product. The driver‑side door was misaligned and did not close smoothly, and the hood also failed to line up properly. After parking to investigate the warning light, it became clear it was related to the pedestrian impact / pop‑up hood system--indicating the vehicle had been involved in a frontal impact. Despite a "clean" CarFax report, the physical evidence strongly suggested prior collision damage and poor‑quality repairs. This was further supported by numerous HIGHLY visible paint chips, scratches, rim damage, and obvious touch‑up attempts--none of which appeared in the photos provided beforehand. For a vehicle with under 7,000 miles, this condition is unacceptable. More concerning is that these issues were either ignored or intentionally misrepresented by individuals who "do this for a living," despite our very direct questions and the significant travel involved. Offering to fix the issues after the fact does not resolve the underlying problem: this car should never have been presented as accident‑free or in excellent condition. We assume they were hoping we would go through with the sale after making the long drive from Pittsburgh. We declined to proceed and drove home. Integrity and honesty were clearly lacking in this transaction. While reviews suggest this may not be the norm, this experience was significant enough to warrant caution. If you choose to work with Basil Resale Sheridan, I strongly recommend avoiding Sales Manager Patrick Schultz and his assistant Jose. A clean CarFax report does not replace transparency, and neither does a verbal assurance. Good luck to anyone who actually purchases the Black 2024 INFINITI QX50 Sport, I definitely feel sorry for them. As of this writing, we are still waiting for any formal outreach or explanation from dealership leadership.

Update as of Monday, June 1st: The manager called me on Saturday, May 23rd and offered a $247 refund on the $1,247 labor charge. He said a check would be sent. It has now been more than a week, and no check has arrived. No update. No confirmation. No communication of any kind from Northtown Toyota since that call. I am posting this as a new review because the dealership publicly replied to my previous review on May 26th saying the issue "seemed resolved." It is not resolved. The promised refund has not been delivered. I will continue to document this until the refund actually arrives. Earlier update: Still no sign of the $247 refund check the service manager told me on the phone would be mailed. I noticed his public reply was very careful to say we had "resolved" things without actually mentioning how anything was resolved. Interesting choice of wording. For clarity, nothing has been resolved until the refund he verbally promised actually arrives. At this point I am starting to wonder if this is the standard playbook. Acknowledge the review publicly, promise a fix privately, avoid putting anything in writing, and hope the customer stops updating the timeline. I will continue documenting the status here until the refund is actually received.
