I was hoping for a different outcome but I have to respect their honesty. In long A scrape on my leg had gotten infected, so I was hoping to get an Rx for some antibiotics and hurry home for the Hawks game. They checked me in in minutes, and found my insurance that had just taken effect a couple days earlier. Nice! The system texted me some info to fill out, and she told me it would list me as being seen in about 25 minutes, but it would be much sooner. The PA came out within 60 seconds to say that they didn't house one piece of equipment I'd need as part of a full eval, and I should go around the corner to the ER. He definitely felt bad delivering this news, and explained it even more thoroughly than he really needed to. I got it right away. He was quick to say that they would cancel the visit and not charge me. Even though I ended up missing the whole game, he was spot-on about what the ER would do to evaluate the infection. I got great care there, thankfully much of it in front of a fuzzy, dim TV showing the game. So I can't really complain about anything other than my own procrastination for leaving the trip until late afternoon.

I was told that I "looked fine" and advised to continue using the same topical medication, despite my concerns. My visit was also incorrectly documented with appointment notes about whiplash, a condition I never reported or had. After following their guidance, my condition got significantly worse to the point I couldn't open my eye and had to seek care elsewhere. Another provider immediately told me to stop the medication and prescribed a different treatment that worked almost overnight. I formally contested both the care and the incorrect documentation, but their medical review team still determined that everything was "appropriate" and refused to adjust the charge. I will never go back and cannot recommend them.

This is the failure of the facility and the staff. Why should this be the patient's responsibility as an aid to help the situation? It should not! That means the staff failed to offer all that could have been done. Quality of care could have been better. Patients, speak up for yourself. The staff either does not care or they are ignorant. Either way better care could have and should have been provided.

A couple of them didn't have any identification (my name) and they weren't even stapled together. I filled them out and sat down. At 10:36 I was told they were running late and it would be ten more minutes. At 10:48 I went back to the counter where the two girls were having a personal conversation and ignored me. I broke in and asked what was causing the delay. One of them said there was a problem with the patient, said she would check to see how things were going. In a few minutes, she returned and said very perkily, "OK, here" and handed me something which I thought might be a medical I.D. It was a Starbucks gift card! Then the other girl opened the door to the back room, stood in the doorway and looked back and forth between me and whatever was back there. Then I heard "I'd like to say five more minutes, but . . ." Next I was told to come to the back and ended up in another waiting room. A woman was sitting there, so I asked her if things were always this unorganized. She told me she had brought her grandson in to have his left leg x-rayed and they wanted to x-ray the right leg instead. That was all I needed to hear and I left immediately. Beware! I gave them one star only because there is no zero available! Edit Remove Send to a Friend Link to This Review Write an Update

After calling my primary care facility, I was urged to head to Swedish Edmonds Urgent Care for evaluation. I want to thank the staff onsite for making this as straightforward, transparent, professional, and expedient as possible during a stressful time. From the front desk check-in person, person who placed me in exam room, person who took my info, vitals, offered water & attached an immobilzer at the end, person who provided a garment to change into & a warm blanket, the person who took three Xrays, the PA who evaluated me, and the security guard who assisted with return of the wheelchair. Collectively, all of the staff that we interacted with and provided care from start to finish was a positive experience. It is important to have ID and medical insurance card upon check-in. Nect steps information and a printout of one's visit are also provided. This was my first time to be referred and evaulated at Swedish Edmonds Urgent Care. I appreciate the care received and that they are easily accessible from Hwy 99.

I asked my oncologist at Fred Hutch and she told me to please right away go to the nearest Urgent Care and get the infection confirmed (in case there was a problem with a home test) and get treatment, since I am high risk. I drove to the Swedish Edmonds Urgent Care. I walked in at about 2:40 p.m. on March 5th, 2026 and spoke with a woman working at the window who had long dark hair pulled back in a ponytail. I said to her, I have stage 4 cancer and took a covid test that came back positive and my oncologist would like me to get that confirmed and to get treatment, because I'm high risk. The woman responded flatly, "We don't do that here, just give a covid test." She asked no questions and didn't talk beyond the denial. I then explained that I'd used a home test, so my oncologist would like me to confirm with an Urgent Care test and get treated, likely with Paxlovid. The lady repeated that they don't do that there, and they don't just give Paxlovid. She went on to say kurtly that they treat people with symptoms, they don't provide tests. The desk gal didn't even bother to ask me why I'd given myself the covid test or all me any questions at all! People usually take a home test because they aren't feeling well. Instead of being courteous she just went directly to the negative, "We don't do that here." Then in a disinterested tone, she said, "If you want to, you can sit over there and wait to talk to someone about symptoms." I told her never mind, because I needed to also confirm the Covid test results and if they couldn't do that I'd just go somewhere else - maybe an urgent care that is willing to help a high risk person with stage 4 cancer and Covid! This cold dismissive woman heard me twice say I am stage 4 and that my oncologist wanted me to come in to confirm the Covid test results and be treated, yet still she still offered no help whatsoever and very few words at all in addressing my request. Avoid this place, it is not urgent care because it doesn't care, period.
