I was a bit wary about being scheduled an ultrasound here with the wide spectrum of Yelp posts,…read moreboth good and very bad. However, speaking from my personal experience, this went well. From the phone scheduling after my physician's referral (9/19/24), to check-in at reception and pleasant waiting room with classical music (9/26/24). The ultrasound tech who showed me the dressing rooms, the secure lockers to stow clothing & valuables, and who performed the ultrasound was very nice, professional and thorough. Added plusses were warmed exam smock, clean washcloths/linen, and ultrasound gel. I was expecting discomfort, but she was able to get the images needed without pain. She had them reviewed by another physician onsite. This resulted in additional images, further examination, and then at the end was provided feedback about the results. The final report will be sent to my physician. She also provided me with a personal referral to another specialist who could help alleviate my current situation. Pro tips: *schedule as early in the morning as possible to give time with the commute and have parking availability. *do not use any lotion, powder, deodorant, or excessive fragrance prior to the scheduled exam. *both me and the ultrasound tech both wore masks, especially with cold, flu, Covid season. I will have to get an additional MRI despite today's ultrasound and speaking from my own specific outcome. Now armed with two doctor referrals, maybe my insurance (that I pay out of pocket for) will actual listen to both medical professionals versus flat out denying the diagnostic requests. Always be your own strong advocate! Medical exams and tests are important. As a Yelp Elite reviewer and two time cancer warrior, take this seriously.

Give yourself a few extra minutes in case you need to park in the garage and walk a little bit (it's not far). It doesn't take a year to get an appointment; they were able to schedule me about 5 weeks out, which is very good these days. Overall, I'm very happy with this facility. They are very thorough and explain things well.

But he spent a lot of time talking everything out with me. Dr Oseto is very timely and is patient when going through my big list of questions! Minus 2 stars for the office staff. They can be really rude and abrasive on the phone and in person. I don't feel like they are very welcoming or kind and dislike having to talk with them. I'm not sure why they act the way that they do-- it's unfortunate because I'm a very kind person.

The left hand had 13 surgeries and the right hand 10, I am left hand dominant. Before surgery, picking things up with my thumb and forefinger was excruciating; pencils, toothbrushes, forks. I was losing more and more hand mobility day by day and have been struggling for the last five years with intense pain. I saw 3 other hand surgeons and they had no clue what to do other than to brace my hand/wrist and tell me not to use it. Dr. Ericson Took the time to talk me through what was happening with my hands and what treatments were available. I'm five months done with the left hand and almost 2 months done with the right hand healing wise. By the end of the year my hands should be fully back again. I can't express enough hello Dr. Ericson has helped me get my life back. Yes there is pain after the surgery and I was limited to what I could do as well for a month or so. I am now able to use both hands, I can hold things again, I can feed myself and paint brush my teeth all of those things which is amazing. Also the pain is much much less than it was in the past. I feel like I have a new lease on life thanks to dr. Ericson in the center. The center where we did the surgery was amazing as was the anesthesiologist.

Not too happy with this office. My father went there to see Courtney Shick, PA and rather than…read morebeing courteous and knock before walking in (most of the drs I have encountered usually do this as a courtesy to let patients know they will be entering and introduce themselves to the patients-especially new patients) she just pushes through the door and doesn't even greet us, as any other respectful provider would normally do. I understand providers are busy seeing patients one after another, but that shouldn't be an excuse to jump right into the room without knocking and acknowledging who you are! Then after a follow-up visit, I called to speak with her or her medical assistant to get a recap of my father's appointment since I was unable to go with him at that visit and wanted to get his test results explained to me; after numerous calls to the office, I finally spoke with the medical assistant, who then said she'd leave the dr a note to call me back, I again had to wait a few days before getting a call back from Courtney. I just don't feel like it should've taken that many calls just to give me a call back with an explanation. Another issue that occurred was when they had ordered an ultrasound for my father and when I called the radiology office, they said they can't make the appointment because they do not see an order from her and they cannot set up an appointment without it. So I called Courtney's office and it took 10 minutes of waiting on the phone before I ever got to the receptionist (at times, I gave up and had to call another day because who can wait on the phone 10+ minutes when you have to work or do other life tasks!) and asked what the story was as to why the imaging center did not have the order when Courtney had ordered it and we had requested it to be sent to that particular imaging center. Their answer was they are not sure why, but they will get that sent over and let me know that the imaging office would call us to set that appointment up once they received it. Well, guess what? A week went by and I had not received a single call from the imaging center, so again, I called the imaging center to ask if they received it and guess what? They said they didn't receive the order! So another call to Sound Urology and waiting on the phone to speak with the receptionist and well, they said they sent it, but will send it again. And guess what happen....NOTHING! After another week of waiting for a phone call again, no sign of the imaging center calling. When he had the ultrasound done before Sound Urology merged with Providence, there didn't seem to be an issue with sending orders out. So, I guess I should give partial thumbs down to Providence for making the process more difficult for the office staff. After those experiences, we see no reason to even try to go back for any further appointments if it's going to be this difficult and how unhelpful some of the staff was. It's so sad how hard it is to find a medical provider who cares about their patients and not about the money that comes in with each patient they see.

We called today (Tuesday at 4:30) to find out if he was supposed to fast before the procedure, only to be told that his appointment was canceled because their machine was broken and, "oops, sorry, we meant to call you." This, after the cancelation window for the hotel room is already past. So now we're out $155. And as to when he will be able to get in, we're just told, 'we'll let you know'. The lady said they would cover the hotel bill. I'll update this post if they do. We're left feeling, though, that had we not called with a question, we would have showed up Thursday morning to be told, 'oh, sorry...'. Inexcusable. Update: 2/10/22 - we managed to get the hotel to cancel without charging us, thankfully. Now we wait to see when we hear about rescheduling.
