The selection was great and they were expecting another shipment on 12/4. They had some really tall trees to choose from. We bought a 9-10 footer. They are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend them. The value is good for the trees. They also deliver within 3 miles for $45. That is expensive but worth it if you get a large tree and you have a small car. read more

This is the second year we've purchased a tree from Northwood and we will never go anywhere else! Our kids have such a good time helping us pick the tree and the people are so kind and generous when we go. We bought our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and just took it down last night (5 weeks later). This is incredibly long over due, but this truly is the best Christmas tree lot, and I know a thing or two about them as I do 10-15 trees a year for commercial properties and some highly picky residential clients. The team is fantastic, responsive, incredibly fair and supplies the best damn trees in the area . Over the past two years I've purchased 23 trees from 6'-15' , and I do apologize to all you shoppers as I might have taken your perfect one- however I can honestly say, there isn't a bad one out there . Can I give this place 10 stars? I'm obsessed with my Christmas tree and I'll be coming back to this tree farm/lot every year. What takes this place to the next level is the family who runs it; they take great care and pride in their craft and make sure their customers are taken care of and happy with their purchase. They are truly the most genuinely kind people I've come across in a long time. Chatting with Pattie when checking out was a breath of fresh air - she happily shared about where the trees are grown (they have a gorgeous farm up in Oregon) and her husband Chris gave me some tips for clean up after the season. Not to mention, the trees are all wonderfully full and green and come in all shapes and sizes. They also provide flocking services! You can get light, medium or heavy flocking ...and you can add a gorgeous opalescent sparkle to your flocked tree as well! This Christmas obsessed girl is in heaven. We just moved here from SoCal, and this is our first Christmas here. Our house has Nine-Foot ceilings and we wanted a TALL tree to fill in that space. We looked ALL OVER Sacrament. We could not find any place that had a nice tree, that was tall...Until we found Northwood Christmas Trees. These trees are all fresh and are being sold by the farmer who grows them in Oregon. They are as fresh as can be. The trees are all in stands with water allowing the branches to drop so you don't have to do that at home. Almost every tree they had was over eight feet tall. In about five minutes we found the perfect tree. PERFECT. The guy came over and took it to the processing area. They put it on a shaker for a spell to get all the dead spine, leaves, etc off. They cut the bottom off fresh and square and carried it to my truck. It was a GREAT EXPERIENCE. The trees are a little pricey for some, but you get what you pay for. Great tree, great service. Apparently they come down here every year and have been for more than 30 years. AND you put your name and address on a postcard and they will send you a reminder in Late November next near and you get a discount on your tree. read more

Best place to get a Christmas tree. The customer service is amazing. Chris was super helpful asking if we had any questions and was amazing helping us once we had found our perfect tree. Patti was super sweet when we went to pay. There is a huge selection of Douglas Fir and Noble Fir trees. I had no idea how much more expensive noble for trees were compared to Douglas firs, but it is worth it. But expect to pay at least $100 for a noble fir. I love the $5 discount that Patti offered to us for next year. read more

There were a truly surprising number of trees on the lot, and all were healthy and lush looking. For $5 they will net your tree for you, which makes getting it into the house significantly easier. We paid around $130 (incl. tax and netting) for a very full 6-7ft noble fir. I appreciated being able to pay by card instead of having to take out cash in advance. The staff was very helpful, and although it was a little crowded, we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes to have someone grab our tree for us. This was the third tree lot we checked out this year, and the only one I'd recommend. We drove 25 minutes from home to get here, and found the experience worth it. read more

We came here after going to another Xmas tree lot down the road that we got our tree at last year. We wanted a small tree that could sit on a table top. All trees were $60 at the other place regardless of size so we opted to check out another place and compare. Ps. Not a soul said hi to us at the first place. We walk into Northwood and see all different prices on different sized so decide to explore. The place was busy. We walk down an isle and from around the corner a man says "hi folks, do you have any questions" and I actually did.. I read somewhere that different types of trees smell more than others (and isn't the point of having a real tree to smell your house up!?) so I asked him that and a series of other odd questions. He lead us to different types, listened to what we wanted, and ultimately brought our tree up to the front check out, bagged it up, and loaded it into our car. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER FROM A TREE LOT! I asked the lady at the front his name and she said "we call him Q-Man because his last name starts with a Q" ‍ Well Q-Man, we will be back next year! We came back again this year with the coupon they mailed to us, and were delighted again by the service and quality of the trees. We didn't wait until three days before Christmas this time, so their selection was massive. They were all incredibly involved and helpful - every associate was warmly engaging a customer, and as we looked around, we were greeted by each attendant we passed. Once we got our tree, one of the lads happily whisked it away, trimmed the bottom, and wrapped for us. Like last year, we shoved a seven-footer into the back of a Mustang. They didn't bat an eye. Great selection of trees, with very low pressure. Staff is attentive without being "pushy" for a sale. EVERYONE was extremely helpful in trimming and loading up the tree. Great looking tree stock. I literally told my wife to buy the first one we saw. We actually ended up buying the 3rd one, a new record for her in shopping time. The trees might be slightly more expensive than, say, Costco. But the key is that they're FRESH. They take care of their stock to make sure every tree is as fresh as possible, therefore able to last as long as possible. The downside is that because these are fresh living trees, once the trunk butt is freshly cut you need to get them into water ASAP. They have lots of sap and it will form a cap over the butt in as little as an hour. So, don't get a tree, then continue to shop. One cautionary note: this is a POPULAR Christmas tree lot. They sell out of the best looking trees very fast. This is due to the fact that returning customers get a pre-sent card announcing opening day and hours to enable them to snap up the best trees on the first couple of days of operation. If you wait until anywhere near mid-December I can pretty much guarantee your selection will be limited. read more

Wonderful people, beautiful trees. We had an perfect first experience at Northwood Christmas Trees. We went the day after Thanksgiving and took along our two small (sometimes screaming) children. There was a great selection of trees from small to quite tall, and they also do a flocking in a variety of colors. Our children have Autism and it was perfect, the lights weren't too bright, the music wasn't too loud and everyone was kind and patient. I judge most places by how tolerant or welcoming they are of our children which is why I gave this place five stars. It was fully fenced so I could let them run a bit (following closely behind), and no one made us feel unwelcome when our children were having a difficult time. So glad we stopped in, will be returning next year for sure! read more

The owner Chris is so friendly, kind and surely is proud of his trees. He homegrowns them at his own farm in Oregon. They put in the tree stand, wrap and tight the trees to your car for no extra charge. -Price: good. We got a discount, so it was about $70 for a 7-8ft Douglas fir. -The place is usually opened for business after Black Friday until before or after Christmas. Come get your tree, you won't be disappointed. We came pretty late and still got a very good looking and fully one.
