This place is very cute and the employees were nice, but the coffee was just ok. We got a Taro Cafe Latte and an iced Thai Tea cafe latte. The taro latte tasted watered down and also like there was no coffee in it. The taro flavor was decent though. The Thai tea latte wasn't very sweet or flavorful and also didn't taste like coffee. (We were told both these drinks had espresso so were a little confused). The vibes were cute but I wouldn't come back for the drinks. read more

It's really cute inside and there's calming music that's played. It's low enough that it isn't distracting. There's a lot of seating for the size of this cafe but if you're more two people someone is going to be seated separately. I got the Prosciutto Bagel with a Brown sugar Cafe Latte. Both were delicious. I'll definitely be coming back for the Brown sugar Cafe Latte. There's also an interesting menu of teas. I definitely want to try some of them in the future. read more

Amazing spot! If I had a penny for every time my wife and I were seeking a cozy coffee shop with good coffee, we would be rich. Finally, finally, we get the place we have been searching for! This place feels incredibly cozy, the pastries and coffee are delicious and the staff is super kind and accommodating. My only wish is that they might open a little earlier than 9am . The coffee is ok. But the staff are not friendly we waited over 30 mins for two bagels with regular cream cheese. Our drink orders were yell out but everyone else the other 2 people who came in after us got their drinks and food delivered to the table. We did not, we had to go grab from the counter. Please do yourself a favor and try this Cafe!ABSOLUTELY delicious coffee and pastries! The decoration is cool and a vibe.

The drinks and food are very unremarkable (and low in terms of cost), but unfortunately (and a bit surprisingly) very expensive. We tried the rose matcha latte and the banana brioche. The latte is too floral. The matcha is overwhelmed by the rose. The brioche is very cheap tasting and definitely does not warrant the $18 price tag. The wait times are a tad long, but not really a problem. I definitely would not come back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

This coffee spot is such a great addition to Pasadena Old Town. The service is inviting and the ambiance is super cozy. My dog also enjoys coming here and being greeted by the friendly baristas. If Don Draper from Mad Men had a cup of Joe every morning, he would come here. They had a soft opening for a few weeks and they just had their grand opening a few days ago, so their menu and hours have expanded. I highly recommend trying their Honey Latte if you're looking for something on the sweeter side. Their Smoked Salmon bagel is also very good. Looking forward to coming back and trying their waffles! 3 stars because the staff were great but not five stars because the coffee was not. The Rose Au Lait tasted and smelled like pot pourri, was way too sweet (and not very hot). Also, I only got the latte because they don't serve half and half with their drip coffee. A coffee shop with coffee and no half and half is not really an American coffee shop IMO, it's probably influenced by European cafes. American-style drip coffee made with well-roasted beans and drunk hot with just the right amount of half and half, is one of the very few culinary things the U.S. does better than Europe. If this cafe served good quality drip coffee with half and half and upgraded to a better rose syrup (try Persian, Indian, or Pakistani rose water) then I'd definitely give it a second chance. read more

Very cute vintage-style cafe but unfortunately the drinks leave much to be desired. I ordered the matcha latte hot but it tasted lukewarm to me even when I drank it right away as soon as one of the workers brought it out to me. The matcha they used also didn't taste as rich as other matcha lattes I've had from other cafes. read more

Love this new coffee shop that just opened up around the corner from me. I was so excited when I saw a new coffee shop was opening so close to me and they did not disappoint! The coffee is delicious and the staff is happy to accommodate special requests. They are so friendly and welcoming. I would also recommend grabbing one of their bagel sandwiches. The ambiance is vintage and nostalgic just as the name says. They are planning to expand their hours and menu in the next month or so and I can't wait. The cafe is cute on the inside but no sitting for parties bigger than two. There's some seats outside. If you combine chairs for the tables inside, it essentially blocks the walkway to pick up your food and restroom. You order in the front and they call you to pick the food up. I ordered two drinks and two dishes - Chai Cafe Latte, Matcha Latte, prosciutto bagel, and smoked salmon bagel (total ~$55). It cost 50 cents extra to make the drinks iced. Matcha Latte was horrible, made with low quality matcha and bagels were mediocre at best if I am being generous and definitely way way way overpriced for what it is - each bagel was nearly $17. Nice ambiance but definitely don't go for the food. Service was meh - they take your order, they call you to pick it up, and that's as much service as you're going to get. read more
