No. But word on the streetz was there were new Valentine's Day offerings, so there we were. Kayla, creature of habit, stuck with the White Chocolate Raspberry. IYKYK. I locked eyes immediately with the new Biscoff Cookie Butter cake and it was over for me. One and done. I had rewards points through the app and I didn't want to blow them all in one visit, so I bought one cake and used some of my points for the other. Shoutout to our server (receipt says "Luxe C" but I wish I'd asked her name) who absolutely looked out for me and charged me for the cheaper cake while letting me use points on the more expensive one. That's elite customer service right there. I SEE you, I APPRECIATE you. COOKIE BUTTER CAKE VERDICT/GRADE: B+ The cake had balance without feeling overwhelming. It was absolutely Biscoff cookie butter in flavor without tipping into cloying and artificial. Balanced without too much "sweet on sweet" each bite. The cake is also slightly dense in texture, which I love, but only if it's moist. And this one was moist. There are biscoff cookie pieces throughout the cake, adding more to the texture and flavor, and the spice level of the cake is spot on. Definitely an enjoyable dessert all the way through without becoming too much. Personally, I wouldn't have minded a thin layer of cookie butter and cream cheese running throughout the center, but the topping alone was enough and it easily spread over/into each bite. The waiting time was delayed, and there was a little confusion with the coordination of the issuance. Although all eventually got, but the moment with expectation spoiled the overall impression. Consistently good cakes! Moist, rich, and not overly sweet. The red velvet has chocolate chips and is my favorite. But honestly I can eat any of their flavors (except for lemon) and be happy. I am totally in love with their Bundt cakes. These are the Best cakes ever. So moist and nice soft, it's buttercream is delicious. It's too sweet after a while although you can remove the buttercream as needed. I've been to this location several times and customer service is always good. I signed up for Nothing Bundt Cakes e-club to get special offers, which is why I made a visit yesterday. You can either place an order online, call the store ahead of time to place and pay for your order or you can wait until you get to the store to place your order. I like that every time I go there is no wait and I'm in and out. Nothing Bundt cakes are delicious, soft and very moist! I always order the bundlet. I was SUCH A BIG FAN and now I am not :( For a holiday work party, I ordered 2 dozen of these adorable bundtinis. See attached photo. I was extremely careful with the bag I was given and headed to work to present these for our party and was completely embarrassed and disappointed to find that one box was completely destroyed. It looked like someone dropped the box. The second box was intact, which is completely baffling. I did not think I needed to inspect the food before leaving, but I suggest that anyone who orders from this business should definitely inspect what they are paying for. I spent $40 on these and am completely disappointed. I was a HUGE fan of this place before today. It's very disappointing because their cakes are SO good! But apparently they need better quality control. And they won't refund me, after reaching out to report the quality. You have been warned. Poor quality control and they won't refund the mess up. Efficient!! My kind of place. The cake I chose was the 8" chocolate-chocolate chip with cream cheese frosting. I didn't need the cake until the next day, so I did as they told me and put the cake in the fridge, and didn't take it out until 2 hours before cutting into it. I was nervous about how this would affect the freshness of the cake, but I adhered, and folks, it was PERFECT. Moist, not overly sweet, and a major hit with the group and Birthday boy! Came in to redeem my birthday offer for a free bundtini (the small, individual bundts) and was incredibly sad that there was not a single gluten free option at this location. Ended up gifting my special cake to a friend since I couldn't eat it, but they said it was absolutely delicious! Very sad that they are so limited on something that's already hard to find when they are when of the few places that even caters to that need at all. Feels like I just got my hopes up for nothing! The staff at this location was very friendly and they did have a free sample available to try. I also loved all of the cute mugs and other decorations scattered around the store - very cutesy and on-brand for the company. Still just disappointed about the insanely limited options that weren't even available. I do wish that EVERY location would offer something if the company promotes it.
