Came in to redeem my birthday offer for a free bundtini (the small, individual bundts) and was incredibly sad that there was not a single gluten free option at this location. Ended up gifting my special cake to a friend since I couldn't eat it, but they said it was absolutely delicious! Very sad that they are so limited on something that's already hard to find when they are when of the few places that even caters to that need at all. Feels like I just got my hopes up for nothing! The staff at this location was very friendly and they did have a free sample available to try. I also loved all of the cute mugs and other decorations scattered around the store - very cutesy and on-brand for the company. Still just disappointed about the insanely limited options that weren't even available. I do wish that EVERY location would offer something if the company promotes it. These little cakes are my FAVORITE cakes on the planet. I don't know what they put in them but it is highly addictive. It's super yummy regardless of the flavor. If you haven't tried one, do so now. Phenomenal - I've only been here twice, but super welcoming just like their bundt cakes. I have tried so far their red velvet, white chocolate raspberry and lemon cake. My favorite thus far is WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY and my girlfriend agrees and she probably has the biggest sweet tooth I know. The icing on the cakes are a little too sweet. I like to brush most of the icing off and dip it as needed. The only caveat is that they don't sell the bunditinis as individuals, you have to buy the dozen. My faves so far are the white chocolate raspberry and lemon flavors. I fancy fruity creations. The slight tartness pops out in these two blends which pair well with the thick cream cheese/butter frosting. To each their own when it comes to the red velvet batter that includes chocolate chips. Since I'm an NBC novice, I absolutely wasn't expecting the chocolate chips. Surprise surprise. The chocolate chocolate chip didn't need frosting at all - sweet enough. These little cakes are sooo good! Five stars for the cakes and the sweetheart girls who work there. I had to take away at least one star because their ordering system failed me. "Nothing Bundt Cakes" has a seemingly foolproof online ordering system. They have cute custom options for birthdays, holidays, baby showers, etc. Being as I was torn between chocolate chocolate chip and the seasonal flavor (pumpkin), I ended up ordering a twelve pack of mini's (with birthday balloons and little happy birthday flags to make them festive). The flavors I picked were pumpkin, chocolate chocolate chip, carrot (for my husband) and red velvet chocolate chip. I placed the order online on a Sunday, and was a little worried that it wouldn't go through for the following Monday since the shop isn't open on Sundays. To my relief, I was emailed a confirmation on Monday morning and made the trek to pick them up at five that afternoon. I had a hard time finding the shop and my GPS is the worst, so I had to call to ask what other stores were in the area. The employee who answered the phone was fluent in girl directions, and guided the way with landmarks (in the same shopping center as "Home Away" and "Michaels", across the street from "Target"). When I arrived, the girl working the register looked for my order and did not have a record in her system. She went into the back, and still couldn't find anything. I showed her the email confirmation in my phone, and she told me they could have my cakelettes and balloons in fifteen minutes and offered me a free cake (not a mini, but the medium sized two serving version). I wasn't upset, and told the cashier that I was totally fine with returning the next day. She insisted that they could do whatever was easiest for me, so I chose a cake (pumpkin!) and stayed. While waiting, I had a chance to peruse their store. Tons of cute cards and gimmicks, including little serving packages and birthday sparklers. So fun. I ate my free cake in the store. It was delicious, but I definitely wished they had a seating area. Maybe a bistro set outside or by the window. I seriously considered eating my cake on the curb. The girls were super sweet and apologized so many times even though I doubt the glitch was their fault, and wasn't mad anyhow. The girls delivered an awesome product in a short amount of time, and even asked if the birthday balloons were for a boy or a girl (I left with the prettiest helium balloons). I feel like there was a flaw with their system because another lady was waiting as well, and she seemed pretty upset (she didn't even take the free cake!). The cakes were a hit, and I can't wait to return and try the lemon and white chocolate raspberry options. This place is close to our Trader Joes, and I'm allowed to eat cake pretty regularly these days (pregnant) so I'm sure I'll be back soon. P.S. They were helpful when picking out the cake, and took good care when packaging it. Icing doesn't cover the whole cake (which is fine) since that's their style. It does look nice.
