I stopped by today (Sunday at 3pm) and the store front door had a sign with business hours Sunday 11am-4pm.... They were closed. My husband has gone several times to Brea's Nothing Bundt Cakes location to get two dozen Bundtinis to bring to the hospital staff, then the convalescent home staff, and now the assisted living caregivers, taking care of his dad after a bad hip fracture. Got this cake as a birthday present/gift from a friend after dinner. Absolutely love their Bundt cakes especially the red velvet is my favorite ! Nothing Bundt Cake has never failed to impress me with their cakes, especially since I personally am not much of a cake person. I really appreciate that they have these smaller sized cakes because it's the perfect portioning for me when I'm not that huge on cakes so I feel bad when an entire cake ends up going to waste. At least in this way I can have some now and eat the rest later. I've been to several locations and can attest that the staff/service is friendly and can provide recommendations depending on what kind of event or occasion you need a cake for. Nothing Bundt Cakes always hits the spot! I've been to this location several times and their customer service is usually a hit or miss. Sometimes you get a friendly greeting upon entering the store, while other times, you're completely ignored until you walk up to the register. Nevertheless, their yummy bundts are what keep me coming back. On this most recent visit, I called ahead and ordered 2 boxes of their bundtinis ($22 per box). They offer a pre-set box of bundtini flavors or you can choose your own. I opted to do the latter and selected 3 White Chocolate Raspberry, 3 Red Velvet, 3 Confetti, and 3 Chocolate for each box. Upon arrival at the store, I found out my order was not ready even though it was well past my pick-up time. My pick-up time was 3:00pm, but I didn't get my order until 3:40pm. This left a bad taste in my mouth, but I was really impressed at how the cashier remedied the situation. She turned what could have been a negative experience into one that was much more positive so I definitely appreciated the customer service I received that day. As for the bundtinis, they were packaged nicely and tasted good. I will say the bundtinis are not as moist as the individual Bundlet ($4.75) though, but still tasty nonetheless. read more

I was here because I needed to pick up my race bib at A Snail's Pace Running Shop next door. It was perfect since I also had a coupon for a free Bundtlet cake from running the local Brea 8k that took place earlier in the year. It was a nice little bakery where you enter from the right door and exit with the left door which allowed for a nice flow of customers. When it was my turn, I got an additional Bundtlet to go with the free one as they were only $5 a piece. The flavors that I got were key lime and classic vanilla. They were both very delicious. I've been coming here for years and I could've sworn I already wrote a review for this place. Oh, well, here we go again... I grew up with my mom making Bundt cakes. It was a 70's or 80's thing I guess. All I know is that she got into this phase of baking Bundt cakes at least once a month and we all loved it...especially the icing. Fast forward to 2009 and I have a family of my own and a vendor brings Nothing Bundt Cakes (NBC) to my work. It was lemon and it was DELICIOUS! It reminded me of Mom's cake but was really moist and had a cream cheese topping rather than a sugary sweet icing. My wife and I were just dating at the time but we both really liked this cake. So we explored and got red velvet, blueberry, chocolate chip and strawberries and cream. But our go to and the one we want the most is the lemon. It is moist with both a lemon aroma and citrus lemon taste. It isn't bitter in any way (in fact it's rather sweet) and the lemon flavor permeates every bite. If you like lemon, you'll LOVE this. My second favorite is the red velvet with chocolate chips....oh yeah! The cream cheese frosting comes on all the cakes (you can get no frosting, too, if you like) regardless of flavor. If you like the goodness that's on top of cinnabons, you will absolutely love this topping. For parties, at least our kids' parties, we like to get the bundtlets. They're little, miniature Bundt cakes that you can get in individually assorted flavors or a specific flavor. It might be more than a traditional big box store sheet cake, but your guests (and kids) will remember it weeks after the party. Plus, it's way cooler than cupcakes... Located in a small strip mall behind Jamba Juice and next to Snails Pace runners shop, it's easy to get to right off of Imperial Hwy and State College. There's some parking right in front, but Tempo Cantina, a tendy restaurant that shares the same parking lot, gets crowded in the evening and on weekends, so keep that in mind if you go to NBC during those times. Unlike the NBC in West Covina, which I loathe, this one seems much better run. There were three people behind the counter and my total wait time, since I placed my order ahead, was less than 2 minutes. I ordered an 8" lemon cake for Dia de las Madres for my wife. She's a great mom to my kids and, as we all know, moms are overworked and underappreciated. I know, she's not my mom, but I got this for her on behalf of my kids. My disappointment with the West Covina location was during Mother's Day one year and I swore I would never go to NBC again. But the taste of the cakes and the speed and organization of the Brea location kept me coming back. Lesson learned: go to the NBC where you had a good experience and don't buy near where your ultimate destination is. Like all franchises, some are better than others. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This bakery confirmed that my order was cancelled and I would be refunded but I've had to make call after call asking where my refund is. I was lied to by the person who took my cancellations, she told me the full amount was returned but instead only 6.99 of the order total was returned. Visited this location on a Thursday afternoon, and there was no line. These stores can get busy but they're very good at getting you in and out! I was greeted right away by 2 friendly young ladies. They have so many cake flavors now, and the ladies were patient with my as I chose which bundtlets I wanted! I got a bit excited and couldn't decide which flavors to get, so I decided to get 4 different ones!! Lemon, chocolate chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and confetti! The frosting to cake ratio is perfect on these little bundtlets! My husband and I and our young girls all shared the confetti cake first. Then I split the chocolate one with just myself and my hubby later. That was plenty, you really don't need a lot of this cake! It's rich and delicious. The bundtini's are 1-2 biters which can be easy to grab for parties but they generally aren't as moist.
