Earlier this year, I attended a community event in the City of Lakewood where Nothing Bundt Cakes made an appearance. The Lakewood location had just opened a couple months prior, and they were giving attendees a chance to win prizes, which included a couple of coupons for a free bundtlet at the Lakewood location plus four others. This location in Brea just happens to be one of the four others. I could have stayed close to home and redeemed the free bundtlet coupon there, but I figured this would give me an opportunity to go out of my way to try a different Nothing Bundt Cakes instead. I hadn't been to Brea before and used this as an opportunity to visit the North Orange County city on a Wednesday afternoon. This Nothing Bundt Cakes is in Brea Town Center on the southwest corner of Imperial and Randolph. For whatever reason, I wasn't paying close attention to the exact location the first time around and had initially discerned the location to be within the Brea Mall area. Not quite Brea Mall, but close enough? lol I came after 5 PM, and the shop looked closed even though they're open until 7 PM on days not named Sunday. They have a few 20 minute parking spots in front of the shop, but none were occupied, hence another reason why I almost thought the shop was closed. When I entered, I saw a male employee surreptitiously positioned behind the counter almost as if to give the impression that he was trying to hide from the customers. It was perhaps a foreshadowing of his customer service towards me, which I'd describe as indifferent for the most part as it seemed like I was just another number to him. I showed him the free bundtlet coupon, and then he told me I could pick any of the flavors on the bottom of the refrigerated display case or the seasonal Pumpkin Spice flavor. I was a little surprised Pumpkin Spice was still on their menu because I came on a day after their Biscoff Cookie Butter flavor left the menu, but before the Reese's Oreo flavor came on the menu. I asked if there was another seasonal flavor besides the two mentioned in the previous sentence, but it was just the Pumpkin Spice that was for a limited time. I had tried the Pumpkin Spice flavor at the Downey location and honestly could have cared less about it, so I didn't want to get it again. I did notice, however, they had two Gluten-Free flavors: Chocolate Chip Cookie and Lemon Raspberry. Normal bundtlets cost $6.50 at this location, but a Gluten-Free bundtlet would be $1 more. However, the free bundtlet coupon would cover the upcharge for Gluten-Free, hence why I wanted a Gluten-Free flavor. I chose the Chocolate Chip Cookie on this visit. I don't think it'd be fair for me to say he was the worst Nothing Bundt Cakes employee ever, but his vapid and dreary personality was quite the buzzkill on my visit. He didn't offer me utensils or napkins, but at least he offered me a paper bag while meticulously placing a Nothing Bundt Cakes sticker over the bag, which held my complimentary Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie bundtlet. I asked him how long the cake would last both on the counter and in the fridge. He responded 2 days for the former, but 5 days for the latter. I put the bundtlet in the fridge immediately after I got home, and I started to eat it the following day. I found the bundtlet kind of hard to cut, and I also noticed that the frosting had detached from the cake quite easily, causing a mess after cutting the bundtlet. Luckily for me, the frosting didn't fall on the floor, and it went well with the chocolate chips inside my bundtlet. If you love chocolate chip cookies (who doesn't?), you'll definitely enjoy Nothing Bundt Cakes' version in the form of a bundt cake! And gluten-free too? Even better for those with Celiac! I saved the other half for the next day, which was two days after my visit. The cake felt a little firmer than the day before, and the frosting seemed to have lost some flavor that day. But overall, not too bad. I do wonder, however, how much less I would have enjoyed the bundtlet had I started eating it a day or two later than I actually did. It's an alright Nothing Bundt Cakes to go to, but I wouldn't make a return visit, even to use my other Free Bundtlet coupon. However, if you live in Brea and need to order a birthday cake for that special someone in your life, this would be a good choice.

Love the cakes here! It's been awhile since I've had Nothing Bundt Cakes. I was excited to find this one right next to my nail salon lol I popped on the app while I was getting my nails done, and ordered some Bundtlets. I ordered a total of 4 individual bundtlets. The flavors I grabbed were confetti, white chocolate raspberry, red velvet, and Oreo cookies and cream. They all came with cream cheese frosting. My favorite was the confetti with the cream cheese. That is my favorite flavor at Nothing Bundt Cakes though. So, no surprise lol My husband liked the Oreo cookies and cream the most. My second favorite was the white chocolate raspberry. Yummy! All of the cakes were fresh and delicious. I really enjoy their cream cheese frosting. It's the best!! So Rich and delicious. :) Service was good! They had my order ready in 20 minutes. Very fast. Ambiance was busy, people were going in and out.

I love coming to Nothing Bundt cakes. The little bundtlets are the perfect size for holiday parties. I just recently tried the two tier cake for a graduation party as well and it was a hit.There was about 12-15 ppl and we still had cake leftover. The service is very friendly and welcoming. There is also the option to order online and pick up in store which I love the online platform it's very easy to use.Make sure to visit on your birthday as well you can get a little treat just need to show your ID. My favorite cake flavor is confetti.

I've been to this NBC numerous times for different occasions throughout the years. I've always received great customer service. I've ordered ahead online as well as just popped in a bought a cake. Their decorations are customizable online and look great in person. Inside the store they sell candles and other decor as well. NBC cakes are delicious, but extremely sweet, so if you've never had one, be prepared. They also all taste very similar to me, regardless of what flavor you're trying.

1/3/25 Just happened upon a little Nothing Bundt Cake shop in the city of Brea while stopping by the bank ... what a nice coincidence, it's so adorable! Noah greeted & warmly welcomed me as I entered the premises. There's no indoor or outdoor seating to enjoy your treats as the shop is fairly small. Please see photos. I inquired what are their most popular sellers & Noah recommended the red velvet & raspberry flavors. So why not? I love the bundles size & went with these popular flavors, Oh wow! I have had only Bundtlets that have been gifted by others & surprisingly these were so moist & decadent. I am partial to the red velvet but the chocolate chips added an extra sweetness that was a bit more than my liking... but oh so good nonetheless. The raspberry was also moist & flavorful but perhaps I am more of a chocoholic than I care to admit. As these were quite rich & decadent, I shared with Hubby little by little. If you can eat one bundtlet in one sitting then you have quite a sweet tooth. If ever in the area, I would love to stop in & try the rest of their flavors. Happy eating & Yelping. I was in 7th Heaven eating my White Chocolate Raspberry Bundtlet. It was so moist and flavorful. I also bought 2 lemon flavors also for another day. These are the best cakes anywhere!! My sister serves Nothing Bundt Cakes at all her parties & functions. Love each one. Carrot cake was my first purchase and while it tasted more like a spice cake we really enjoyed it. I loveeee this place. I got to say, I initially thought this place was over hyped. I also used to think the cakes were pretty expensive. But after a while I realized that the price for their cakes is about average, except when you purchase decorations for the cake. The price in my opinion, for decorations is a bit ridiculously overpriced. Same with decorations for their bundtinis, even though it is just $0.25 per cup cake, usually most other cake places offer cake decorations for free. What convinced me to start shopping here was when a coworker told me she orders their mini cupcakes, I believe they are called bundtinis. These bundtinis are a game changer. Currently it is $22 for 12 bundtinis. They have a standard assortment option and a custom assortment option. I like that the custom and stardard assortment cost the same price. Most places would charge extra for custom assortments. It's nice because since all their flavors are yummy, you can choose to have 1-2 of each flavor.. I like to order online, it's very efficient, fast and easy to use. You can choose delivery or pick up. I actually really like most of their flavors, it's pretty sweet but doesn't feel overly sweet. And the cake is very moist and fluffy. I definitely feel quality in the cup cakes. I would say my favorite flavors are Lemon, Carrot, and white Chocolate Raspberry. But to be honest all the flavors are good. This location in particular is the only one I have been to. It is very clean, and the workers are nice and professional. read more

I really enjoy Nothing Bundt Cakes. Their cakes are always moist and delicious. The staff are very careful when wrapping so as to not take away from the decorations. Now for the con part of this review. Because I don't live in the area, I went online to have a cake delivered and ended up calling the store direct. Should be NOTHING BUNDT ATTITUDE... it's very rare that I waste my time and energy to give somebody a one-star review I usually reserve my reviews for when places are exceptional and I think that other people should know. Unfortunately, this is not one of those times. These guys have to be the rudest Duo ever. It is 6:55 p.m. on August 9th 2022 ( that timestamp is specifically for the manager in case one of these dynamic duo wasn't a manager and just happens to suck all on their own) It's just hard to explain such poor customer service and Incredibly wack people... the service from the very beginning was rude and then when I tried to pay my $28.88 bill with $30 "we don't accept cash" BUT apparently they do accept cash (with a terrible attitude) if you're persistent and explain that you would just like to buy a bundt cake... They will make sure to literally slam the door after you leave (because I left it a quarter inch open, which I was turning to fix before them slamming it on me, smh) easy enough to know that I won't come here no matter how delicious the cakes are. 0/5 STARS!!!!!!! We came in and ordered a couple dozens of bundtinis only to find out that they were packed like a 9.0 earthquake hit. I wish I would have caught the guys name that helped us with our order on 8/18/20. To start off, he didn't seem like he was happy to work there. I've gone to this location many, many times before but this would have to be the worse service I've ever gotten. The pictures attached to this post will speak for itself. Ridiculous. Not worth the money we paid for. If the branch manager is reading this, just know that it was the heavy set Asian guy with glasses. He was working the registers with 2 younger females. We came around 1:30pm on 8/18/2020. 8/20/20: I've already shared my experience on your website. I didn't want to write this review because the 1st 2x's I visited this store I had no problems well except for their staff being unfriendly & uninviting but other than that at least my order was right & ready, but the 3rd time around Wow where do I begin ok well I ordered a simple chocolate chip cake for my sons 18th birthday, I was too busy @ work to pick up my order so I sent my oldest son to pick up the cake on the day of my youngest sons bday, he comes home with 2 boxes of confetti & lemon bundtinis which is not what I ordered @ all, so I called the store spoke with the mgr & he said yes they made a mistake he sees's my order in the system he then apologized & even offered to deliver the cake to me but I knew I was out of their radius so opted out of having the cake delivered, so I told the mgr I'll come pick it up the next day since I had plans with my son's for his bday, the mgr told me no problem pick up when you're ready & keep the bundtinis I thought that was a nice gesture & went on with my day, so my son goes back & pick up the cake I ordered the following day & the cashier says she could not find my order & she gave my son an attitude about it I had to screenshot my online order to him to prove that I placed the order when I had already spoke to the mgr the day prior, then when my oldest brought the cake to my youngest sons birthday party @ Dave N Buster's I was so disappointed the cake looked rushed it had one birthday flag on the side of the cake & no decorations/ribbons in the middle, the card was just a folded piece of paper with Happy 18th birthday on it I couldn't believe it, everyone was shocked my family said I know Nothing Bundt Cakes did not give you that cake where's the decorations?!? Not only that the bundtinis they gave us free tasted dried out & old we were all disappointed @ the party I won't be returning back to this location ever again. sorry not sorry for this review but you guys drop the ball big time & train your cashiers to give better customer service!! read more

There's so many awesome flavors of Bundt cakes. Guarantee that you are going to find one that you enjoy! The cream cheese frosting is the best in terms of flavors, I am a huge fan of red velvet. I also really love the. Lemon as well as the snickerdoodle. There's so many awesome flavors to choose from; I strongly recommend the bundtinis which are just amazing. They tend to pack in a lot more flavor per bite versus the cake. read more

It has been a few years since I came back to 'Nothing Bundt Cakes'. Needless to say, this establishment is in the back where no one knows about it unless word of mouth. It was great to see the staff was very helpful and quite nice. We got the new Chocolate/Spearmint Cake and I highly recommend it, except with the drizzle frosting. We do not care for the thick frosting. It is good but takes away from the cake and the drizzle format is perfect for this cake. Too bad with Covid, no samples as they used to have. Needless to say, still quite tasty, but not the cheapest as we spent $39 for the smaller Bundt. I would recommend ordering ahead to get what you want as well. I hope they can hang in there with the pandemic as it is a nice treat for a special occasion. It went from 5 stars to 4 only because I could not get the drizzle frosting. read more

So... I have a confession to make. Embarrassing to share, but I'm going to, anyway. Firstly, know that I love this chain. My kids love it, my colleagues at work love it. We all love it. I usually go to the Tustin location since it's near work, but this location is closest to home. I saw it when I went to a restaurant next door and was so excited for my first visit yesterday. I like the tucked-in location, and country, bakey atmosphere and looks. However - sadly, the girl at the counter was not living up to the overall nice feeling. Yes, I went straight to the sample section after you told me the flavor. That's what I do. That's what some of us do. If we are about to spend $15, $20, $40 or $109 or so on a cake, guess what - we will take advantage of the free sample. And for me, I'll go back because they are addicting. Isn't that what the purpose is? I won't eat it all, but I will go back for seconds or thirds since they are bite size. The other reason for the 3 stars - the pecan praline flavor I got was soft but not as moist as what I've had compared to Tustin location. I pop in every so often to grab a few Bundtlets for my kids. They love red velvet and chocolate chip. This place is super cute and has a large variety of flavors along with everything you need to enjoy some cake like plates, candles, napkins, cups etc. The employees are usually very friendly but today a not so pleasant Sofia rang me up. She made it seem like i was bothering her and didn't even crack a smile. I like this place and think the cakes are delicious but the customer service today just wasn't there. read more

Nothing bundt cakes is a great place to grab cakey goodness for an event, or just for yourself to devour. Their new flavor is confetti and it is very good. They have free samples inside, however you may have to fight off a few kids for it. On the day I came I was about to poke a cake bite with a toothpick when a girl of 9 or 10 shoved her way front of me to grab her 4th or 5th one. This is life though and not the store's fault, but rather the parent who couldn't care less what his child was doing. Anyway, back to the cakes. Every flavor I have ever had from here is moist and delicious and I highly recommend stopping in, having a sample and picking up a bundlet for a good treat! I went to a birthday party for my friend's daughter, and my friend had ordered this amazing 2-tier cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. The cake was simple in appearance so I actually wasn't expecting much, but to my surprise the cake was amazing! The first tier was lemon and the second was white chocolate raspberry. The cakes were moist and the frosting was delicious. I immediately bookmarked the nearby locations to check out at a later date. Today I had an appointment nearby when I realized how close this store location was, and I knew this was my chance. I went to the store and purchased lemon, confetti, and white chocolate raspberry bundtletts. The bundtletts are like mini individual bundt cakes, and are around $4.50 each. The lemon was as good as I remember but I wasn't a fan of the confetti flavor, as it was a little too sweet, even for me. Service was friendly. Tip: The lady told me to refrigerate the cakes I would not eat that same day and take out 30 minutes prior to eating. read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes serves a variety of bundt cakes. This includes 8" cakes, 10" cakes, tiered cakes, bundlets, bundlet towers, and bundtinis. I've had a few bundlets here. Here's what I've tried: *Carrot - This was great! Robust in cinnamon and nutmeg flavor. Also lots of super tiny chopped up carrots. *Chocolate Chocolate Chip - This was really good! Very rich in chocolate flavor and packed with chocolate chips. *Red Velvet - This was fantastic! Super rich in buttermilk and cocoa flavor. The texture for all the bundlets were thick, soft, and moist. Their signature frosting which is made up of cream cheese and butter was perfect and added a nice touch with the right amount of sweetness. Service was alright. Nothing out of the ordinary. Established in 1997.

To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn't compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection. And perfection are those decadent, slowly melting bites, we all know and love. Flash forward and the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand has grown nationwide. These guys are so delish! No other place has a better lemon cake. Every year on his birthday, that's all my husband wants. Everything else I've tried has been amazing as well. I love that they have samples in the store to try other flavors that I probably normally wouldn't buy. They've really thought of everything. They have cards, candles, even a serving pack (paper plates, matches, cake cutter, etc.) for purchase because, let's get real, there's always something you forgot. We use Nothing Bundt Cakes frequently and love the online order feature. I highly recommend trying them out for your next celebration. read more
