When it comes to bakeries, the product can vary, especially when it's a local independent business. This is when choosing a franchise can make a difference. Franchises can be boring or unimaginative but consistency can be a great selling point. This where a business that offers "Nothing but bundt cakes" truly shines. Having selected this bakery for several special occasions, the cakes were always the same quality. I won't go too much into the product, but let's just say they are very good for what they are. Moist, frosting not too sweet, not too thick. Variety ensures something for everyone. Cost is a little bit more than a similar offering from a grocery store, but I would still choose Nothing Bundt Cakes for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Staff has always been friendly and parking was always plenty. read more

I had ordered a couple dozen bundtinis for my daughter's class to celebrate her birthday. The goods here are not cheap but they are super cute and delicious. I had ordered one dozen with the party hat toppers and the other dozen with the birthday present topper. They only gave me one type of toppers which was kind of a bummer but that's not a huge deal. The shop was actually quite busy at 6 pm on a weeknight when I came by - everyone recognizes the delicious of the bundt cakes here. The guy working behind the counter seemed to be alone but he worked quickly and provided great service to each patron. read more

The few times I went to this location, I always saw the worker, Marilyn, and she is ALWAYS so sweet and provides the most wonderful customer service. She is always so patient and welcoming. Voting Day, it was my day off. So after dropping off my absentee ballot I decided to head to Westlake in Daly City. I headed to NBC to get my hands on the current flavor Oreo dirt cake. While looking at the available flavors, LemonRaspberry caught my attention so I got both flavors in addition to RedVelvet my daughter's fave. The cashier mentioned the Lemon Raspberry is gluten-free, i got it anyways, i mean it's a dessert (reward). Unfortunately I did not like that particular cake, it was dry, lifeless, just a lump of UNjoy. I just decided to enjoy the frosting for compensation. As for the Oreo Dirt cake it is delicious! Marilyn assisted me with a large order (18 boxes). She was so kind and efficient. I was a little stressed because I had pick this all up myself in a Waymo but she was extremely kind and helped me load everything quickly into the Waymo so that was a huge relief. Earlier this year (2021), I signed up through their website to become an eClub member. Every year they reward their members a free Bundtlet on their birthday! Unfortunately I didn't receive an email to claim the reward, so I went into the store and asked. A kind gentleman was working at the time and was more than happy to assist me. He was super nice and attentive. Made sure to wish me a happy birthday. Just a 2 minute engaging conversation really made my day! I ended up choosing a peppermint chocolate chip Bundtlet. This place is dangerously good. I stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes in Daly City to grab a quick treat, and walked out with a dozen bundtinis -- no regrets. I've been looking for a great slice of cake for so long now... Not an aggressively fancy tiny slice from a shamelessly fussy specialty bakery that can't deliver on its own oversized sense of self-esteem. And, sure, there are plenty of places for a decent slice in SF but there's always a flaw... maybe it's too dry, or the flavors aren't quite right, or it's needlessly adorned with fancy flourishes. I just want a moist, flavorful slice of cake. And let me tell you, friend, I finally found exactly what I was looking for here. I stopped by right before closing time for a red velvet bundtlet. There were none in the display case. But that was no problem; the nice lady working the register grabbed one from the back for me without me even asking. It was insanely good. Cake was very moist, with plenty of rich sour cream frosting with just the right degree of sourness. There were a few chocolate chips within the cake. I was skeptical. But it really did add the nicest hint of a chocolate flavor to the cake. I have no notes. It's kind of existentially frustrating that this is a big old chain operation. But what can you do? I placed an order on Monday for the next Saturday for 2 gluten free cakes for my son's birthday party. I received a call less than 24 hours to my pick up time notifying me that they only had one of two cakes available because they didn't bake enough. They over sold the cakes and don't look at orders until the day before to know if they will actually have enough to fulfill the next days orders. This left me scrambling to find a new cake for my allergy child. The bakery offered to give me another cake, in which my child could not eat. I ordered two dozen bundtinis for my friend's birthday and also paid for cute toppers. The bundtinis were a huge hit, flavors were amazing, and the cakes were super moist. The crowd favorite was the funfetti flavor! However, for the cost of these pastries and the size of the boxes I had to manage, I could not believe that they did not provide complimentary disposable paper bags to help with transport. Instead, I was asked to purchase a reusable, insulated? bag that I did NOT want to buy because I have no need for more of these bags!! I don't know if this is a franchisee decision or a corporate decision, but either way, it was not good customer service. For how much they charge for these pastries, a bag should be included! read more

I came in here bought 5 bundtlets. The girl asked me if I need a bag for $0.50 ? I am beyond distraught and bamboozled. That is ridiculous for a small brown bag !!!! The fact that they don't even offer/provide a fork with the cupcakes which doesn't make sense. What if I want to eat it right away? Smh. They are too much. We Love "Nothing Bundt Cake", cakes are delicious! But for the first time in 5 years the customer service was like 1 star. This was the first time I have received bad customer service for asking about adding decorations and trying to pick up too separate orders for two separate parties. It just opened at 10 am and I came in at 10:45, it ruin my morning and if she was having a bad day, don't take it out on customer. I passed by this place when I was picking up food near by and decided to check it out! The store looked really clean and pretty! Cake: There was a lot of options and I decided to try the white chocolate raspberry Bundt. I made the right choice since it was super soft, moist, and just all around delicious! It wasn't too sweet (for me anyways) and the flavors went together really well! Although it can seem a bit pricey, I now crave Bundt cake over regular cakes when I am craving sweets. I love Nothing Bundt Cakes! I'm never usually a person that likes cakes normally unless it's really good, but this place sold me when I tried out their bundt cakes. The first time I ever had was when my coworker bought me a strawberry bundt cake as a gift and I absolutely loved it! For this time, a variety of cakes were bought to celebrate my new nephew's arrival. So, we got chocolate, strawberry, red velvet, and lemon bundtinies to celebrate. A box of dozen of these was worth $25 which is not bad at all. What I really love about this place is how moist the cakes are. There's absolutely no hint of any dryness at all and it tastes just as good. It's also not too sweet either which I appreciate. My favorites were the strawberry and the lemon one. It's not too overpowering but the flavors are there. Even the cream cheese frosting was delicious as well. I would highly come here if you have an event of some sort or just want to come try out their bundt cakes in general. The have bigger bundt cakes, personalized bundtlets and more. Nothing Bundt Cakes - Daly City Store has the BEST customer service! I called the Milbrae location numerous times and they didn't answer the phone. They also turned off their online ordering two days in a row. I called San Carlos location and they told me that both Milbrae & San Carlos are under same management and that they both did not have any buntini's available. For the next few days. I called Daly City because I needed to order a few dozen for my daughter's soccer team for her birthday treat. They had plenty and was able to complete my walk in order quickly with a smile! The staff at Daly City location is awesome! Store is clean and even though this location is out of my way, I would return because they are clearly the best and have inventory available! Established in 1997.

To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn't compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection. And perfection are those decadent, slowly melting bites, we all know and love. Flash forward and the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand has grown nationwide. The service is OK the staff there collect your money and get you on your way so really nothing to complain about there. The bake shop and ambience is that of a typical Chinese style bakery you walk in and you grab your tray along with the tongs and you pick out the specific pastries that you want, and you put it on the plate and give it to the staff person at the front near the counter. That's also where you can get your egg tarts and other type of goods such as the more fresh pastries with meat in inside like a cha siew bao. If you pay with cash is cheaper as I believe they charge a surcharge when you pay with credit card. Parking is easy because it is just part of the big plaza area with plenty of parking.

There were a few people waiting, but it turned out they were all in line for fresh boxes of Señorita bread. We placed our order and were told to wait a few minutes because a fresh batch was coming out of the oven. It was absolutely worth the wait! There's nothing better than warm, freshly baked Señorita bread on a cold Pacifica morning. They may be small, but they're soft, fluffy, and so delicious that it's hard to stop at just one. We also ordered a chicken empanada to try. It's good, but hard to compete with the senoritas. This was the perfect way to end our morning, even if the crabbing didn't go as planned. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area!

I got a cup of coffee which kept me awake for the balance of our ride to Monterey -- a much needed thing given the heavy traffic that day. The donut shop was like many: lotto tickets & scratchers available, bagel and croissant sandwiches available, a refrigerated case with beverages, and a literal bank of coffee kept warm on a heating table.
