Though the shop was pretty cluttered with things that had nothing to do with bundt cakes, it felt warm and comfortable. I really believe that this store does not belong in El Paso. With plenty of other options around town that are cheaper, tastier and family owned, El Pasoans have a much better option than this store. The cakes taste like they've been stored in freezers for sometime and the staff continually gives out horrible service, especially seemingly the management, which belittles customers and tries to upsell at every point, even if one is already decided on a purchase. I get the feeling that the owner of the store doesn't exactly understand how to approach good customer service and satisfaction across the board, his mind seems to focus on profits, when the cakes really aren't worth it. For $40 I could get a better looking, tastier cake, and probably more with it, not a tiny 10-inch half dressed horribly frosted mess. I will never shop with NBC of El Paso again. read more

Your cakes are incredible-you know that otherwise there would not have been a line outside your store with seemingly no end in sight. You are deserving of 1 star because even though I ordered and paid for the cake Friday afternoon, I had to wait in line outside your store today for 1 hour in the hot afternoon sun in order to pickup my cake. Even though today is Mother's Day there is no excuse to make your customers wait in the scorching sun for that length of time to pickup their order. I can think of a number of ways to alleviate the wait, one of which is when I ordered the cake Friday afternoon the young lady that took my order could have suggested that I pickup my cake Saturday evening so as to avoid the crush of people the next day. However, I will not huff and puff with bravado and state that I will never order a cake from your store ever again. As I stated your cakes are incredible. If you really believe in customer care, you will employ the necessary measures to ensure this never happens again. Your valued customers deserve better. read more

The cakes are delicious but this particular store SUCKS! The "owner" is rude and despite paying 40$ for a simple cake he can't manage to make it look even decent! Plus he lies and tells you his employee is actually his supervisor! Very very shady. Just imagine what else he lies about... This bakery is simply amazing!!! I love the cute little gifts that are available to pick up while purchasing your cakes. I have purchased everything from the larger cakes to the bundtlets. I love that I can always personalize the cakes to fit my needs. I love the fact that you get to sample different flavors each time you go in. Every flavor is delicious! I was really skeptical because no one really thinks about a bundt cake being so good. But they are moist and spongy. The frosting is the real deal, thick and sweet. You can get a free sample when you walk in and order a personal size or a larger party size with decorations. And reasonably priced for what you're getting. I love this place and this month they have Strawberry Cake!! Today I went in and was upset at first when I was given false information about the cakes and I believe the cashier just didn't know what she was talking about. She tried to get an attitude with me but I do not put up with attitudes from people that I am paying my money to. I was requesting bundt cakes with no icing in which I have purchased several times before. To sum it all up a lady eventually came from the back and was able to get me exactly what I wanted. I was having such a hard time finding something different to send to my mom, who recently relocated to El Paso. I didn't want to send the usual mother's day flowers, blah, blah. And unfortunately El Paso really doesn't have a lot to choose from in the "specialty delivery" department. So when I stumbled upon Nothing Bundt Cakes (which I have frequented in other cities) I thought what a great idea! However; the ordering process was a bit of an ordeal and I was skeptical that the delivery would even happen. I just got the impression that they aren't accustomed to working with out of state orders and deliveries and I believe there might have been a bit of a language barrier as well. About halfway through the order a very nice man took over and was extremely sweet and patient as we muddled our way through. Since the phone ordering situation was a bit tenuous I asked if there was any confirmation that would happen when the delivery took place. Again, a bit of hesitation. But he said "yes, we can call you when we deliver". and sure enough, today I received a call from the sweetest gal letting me know that no one was home and wondering how she should handle the delivery. I assured her that a) the yappy dogs at the door wouldn't harm her as they both weigh in at about 6lbs and b) that the heat wouldn't bother the cakes as I would text my mom and have her go to the door. She was very accommodating, thoughtful and kind. I think this was a good experience for all of us as they got a bit of "training" on handling a bit city girl calling in an order with a certain expectation of service and I was reminded of how kind and quaint smaller towns are and that even though something doesn't happen at the snap of a finger, it happens nonetheless and with a smile. I was VERY happy to support this business and my mom was thrilled with her gift! Thanks to everyone at Nothing Bundt Cakes, El Paso!
