The service was great with Kinsey behind the counter being so kind and patient with me. The place is nicely decorated with many different delicious desserts available besides cupcakes. The strawberry and the chocolate cupcakes were beautiful and delicious. I will visit again to try different flavors.

In the area and wanted to stop and shop.. Super cute storefront.. with lots of goodies.. Today, I am so impressed with presentation and the appeal of items.. I like how the items are nicely displayed and packaged. Picked up two vegan cupcakes (for the vegan son), brown rice rice krispy treat, a peanut butter gf cookie and mocha and pineapple cupcakes. So moist and the sweetness of the frosting was perfect.. I also like variety of items.. if one wasn't in the mood for a cupcake you have different options to chose from.. If coffee was an added option, id stay for the day! Glad I stopped in.. also got a punch card! Service was great and helpful!

A cute little pastry shop in the Foothills shopping center. It's decor is lovely, but I do wish they had more option to choose from in terms of pastries. They have several specialty pastries geared towards vegans and Paleo eaters which is great to see. At first glance I didn't see anything that stood out to me and I needed to have. I settled on a chocolate chip cookie. It was good but nothing spectacular. The staff working the day I went it was so friendly and answered any questions we had about the pastries. Worth checking out for the pretty photo opportunities!

I was really happy that a Batch location opened up in South Reno. I really appreciate that they have vegan options here. Not just cupcakes - cookies, whoopie pies, you name it! They have multiple vegan flavors as well, we're not just stuck with one or two. I've been very happy with all the vegan products I've tried and would definitely recommend stopping in.

    I love their drink selections.

Batch Cupcakery is undoubtedly one of the best spots in Reno to get delicious cupcakes, made only with wholesome ingredients. They're mainly known for their cupcakes, but offer plenty other baked goods such as bars, cookies, cake pops. With advance notice, they do custom orders for special dietary needs and custom cakes for special events. This location is one of two and is located in South Creek Plaza in South Reno and while it doesn't have a kitchen, their cupcakes and baked goods are delivered fresh daily from their main location in Midtown. What sets this shop apart from other shops is that they also cater to other dietary needs, offering gluten free, keto, paleo, and vegan options. When you eat these options, you'll never know because they're just as delicious as cupcakes made with regular flour and dairy, if not better. My absolute favorite cupcake in the shop is their gluten free pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting. It's moist with supreme pumpkin flavor and is nicely balanced with the perfect amount of cream cheese and sweetness. Other favorites include frostbite (mint chocolate), apple streusel (vanilla cake, apple filling, cream cheese frosting topped with graham crackers and caramel), and pucker up (lemon). As with every other shop, I like to try a variety of flavors to find my favorites. Batch Cupcakery's cupcakes shine with simplicity and freshness. If you're looking for over the top cupcakes in outrageous flavors with flossy toppings, you should look elsewhere. The owner started this bake shop long after Reno started booming, realizing the need to supply great tasting goods made with the best ingredients. She's also the owner of The Arch Society bar in Midtown. If you're an alcohol and dessert enthusiast, it's the only dessert bar in town. Batch in South Reno has a cute dining area and a nice gift display against the wall that has a lot of cute baking and pantry items for sale. Lily is my favorite worker that can be found at this location. She's always kind and welcoming and even entertains my kids when they ask her questions. Because this location doesn't have its own kitchen, you may find that some cupcakes will sell out. I like to call ahead of time to double check that the flavors I seek are available. I always use Batch for special occasions like birthdays and get togethers. Their cupcakes also make great gifts for people with sweet tooths. With what few cupcake spots we have in town, I'm glad that Batch is super tasty and legit. There's nothing like visiting the shop for a nice treat when the cravings kick in. *Plenty of parking at the South Reno location. Limited parking in Midtown. *Make sure to ask for their punch card to earn free cupcakes. *Batch does special cookie decorating kits during the holidays. You can also place special orders for bigger batches of cookies. *Make sure to follow them in Instagram for the latest updates

This bakery is so adorable! They had so many flavors of cupcakes and cookies to choose from and they also have a gift section. The seating area is also super cute and service was great. Such a darling business!

A delicious blend that's well balanced, and not overly sweet or buttery. Oh, what's a "cutie pie"? It's a miniature pie, perfect for 1-2 servings, and a great way to say yes to some pie without committing to it for a week. They have other fun ones like Hoosier (brown sugar custard w/ oatmeal crust), chess (lemon custard), and Jumbleberry (mixed berries), along with the usual classic flavors. I've also tried the pecan cutie pie, and a seasonal (should be year-round!) cherry almond cupcake, which was the perfect blend of almond flavor and tart cherry. Creative flavors like that make this bakery really stand out, and the fresh ingredients, perfect preparation, and friendly service, keep you coming back for more. It was a thin white chocolate shell filled with whipped cream and lemon curd. The lemon curd was good. I wanted more lemon because it tasted mostly like whipped cream. The blackberry cupcake didn't have enough blackberry flavor, but the texture was good. The frosting was far too sweet and detracts from the cupcake. The carrot cake was the worst of the three. The cake wasn't spiced enough and was too dense, probably from a sugar soak. The frosting was terrible. If it was cream cheese, we couldn't taste it at all because of how sweet it was. It felt like it coated your mouth in powdered sugar.

We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us. If you're looking for an over-the-top dessert experience your kids will talk about for days, this is your place.

I hadn't read the reviews before ordering, as I was frantic in trying to find a bakery that could do a small custom cake less than 24 hours before my Mother-in-Law's birthday. I was desperate and willing to take anything, and Leigh Anne was very sweet and patient with me on the phone. We settled on the Carrot L-Orange cake (heavenly). I forget the exact size, but I remember she said it would feed ~6 people which was perfect, and truly it could have fed up to 12+ people as that's how many servings we got out of it. That cake was tall, flavor-packed, and very rich. The complimentary carrot, nutmeg, and orange flavors had a warm spice that had me questioning why it had been over a decade since I last had carrot cake! It is criminally underrated in my peer group, or at least it was until we had this one. You know you've got a great recipe when even the folks who 'don't want any cake/don't like sweets' start eyeing it to make sure there's some left for them to try, and especially when they ask if they can take a to-go slice back home because they know someone who just HAS to try it. Let me just put it out there, in terms of Croissants, I think Dream Cakes is THE BEST in all of Reno. Bold words, I know, but these croissants are truly next level. The Chocolate Croissant has a light but satisfying snap to it, with the inside rich with flavor, fluffy, with structure and not at all doughy. The hint of chocolate completes the experience. The Butter Croissant had a rich, comforting buttery base, wrapped in a slightly flakey outside, one that announces itself with a gentle, articulate snap, the kind that suggests precision rather than fragility. It's a crispness that feels intentional, almost conversational, as if the pastry is inviting you into its layers rather than showing them off. Inside, the craftsmanship becomes unmistakable. There is no hint of doughiness, no underbaked heaviness lurking beneath the surface. Instead, each bite releases a warm, buttery richness that spreads slowly, confidently--never overwhelming, always balanced. What lingers is a sense of completeness. This croissant doesn't chase decadence; it achieves it through harmony. The textures speak to technique, the flavor to patience, and the overall experience to a baker who knows that the most memorable pastries are the ones that feel effortless. A quietly exceptional croissant--one that earns its praise not through grandeur, but through grace. Dream Cakes is worth the drive.

Nothing Bundt cakes has appeared at EVERY celebration of ours, between birthdays and anniversaries. so on APRIL 16th we placed an order for UNR's graduation to celebrate the first college graduate in our family. Our pick up time was for 11:15. My daughter went to pick up our order at 12:04 after the graduation ran long, and we wanted to give some additional time to prepare our order as we knew it would be a busy day. By 12:27 she was still texting me that she was IN LINE, for a pickup order we placed a month prior. They should have created a second pick up line for already placed orders, especially since UNR graduation has been set for this date for a year and knew it would be busy. But no, they chose disorganization and didn't value any of their customers and had them waiting for ridiculous amounts of time (over 30 minutes?!?!) . My daughter missed most of her son's graduation lunch because of this wait, breaking her heart as she just wanted to bring his favorite dessert and missed almost the whole lunch because of NOTHING BUNDT CAKES. The employee told the person in front of my daughter that they were out of frosting, and that if they didn't have a flavor they would look to see if "they could steal one from an ahead order" UM. IM SORRY. SO PEOPLE PLACED ORDERS WEEKS AHEAD AND THEN DAY OF THEY WERE LOOKING TO COMPLETE NEW ORDERS WITH ORDERS PEOPLE HAD PLACED BUT HADNT PICKED UP YET?!?!?!? Picking up our placed order took over 40 minutes, while my elderly father was stuck waiting in the car for that entire time. To make up for this? They offered my daughter a free bundlet, only available to be redeemed from that one cursed location (we don't live in state and certainly will NEVER be back to this location even if we were in state again) absolutely ridiculous. This was so stressful that my daughter's Oura ring warned her she was in a high stress environment (to pick up a pre ordered cake! Imagine that!) Nothing Bundt cakes ruined our day and our celebration. I really hope that next year they just close for graduation since they clearly cannot handle it and they should not have people relying on them when they are incompetent in completing orders placed a month ahead. This was beyond disappointing, and I hope that someone from management reaches out to correct this. In the future we will no longer be ordering nothing Bundt cakes, despite our big family ordering them almost monthly for birthdays. IF ANYONE IS ORDERING FOR NEXT YEARS GRADUATION- DONT!!!!!!! Try another place!!!!! Not worth the stress.
