Growing up as a kid, I always asked my mom to make me cupcakes for my birthday or special events instead of cakes. I was never a cake "kid" or cake "guy". Later on in life-that all changed the 1st time someone randomly brought a Nothing Bundt Cake to a party I was attending-I was hooked. Funny thing-they are rather pricey-so I never feel very comfortable asking someone to get me a birthday cake from there, but I tell ya what, whenever a cake from there is revealed at a party, another level of party is truly achieved. Lately, I've just been getting the mini Bundlets, which are the personal-size cakes from Nothing, and they truly satisfy someone's sweet tooth without encouraging overindulging. This particular trip landed me at the store on Truxel Road in Natomas. This is my home store and one I go to pretty frequently--maybe once a month, more if I have visitors from out of town. This shop is pretty awesome, as the employees are always so friendly and the store is always so well organized and clean. They keep their display cases full of cakes and flavor options every time I go there. Very high-quality store. This particular visit was a tough choice, as I usually go with the Lemon Raspberry mini bundlet but they were advertising a Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl version and I just couldn't resist. The pictures truly don't do this cake justice--it is so sweet and so sugary while the cake maintains that perfect moisture one only gets at Nothing . It was love at 1st bite and sadness at last bite-so darn yummy. I would like to tell you the cost for one of these mini bundlets, but I had a reward and it was free -which made the cake taste even sweeter. In closing, if you're ever in the Natomas area and want to try out a Nothing Bundt Cake, feel confident that this location will give you a great product and quality customer service. I don't go out of my way to visit Nothing Bundt Cakes, but sometimes I will stop in if I'm near one or my mom will randomly bring one home to share. I saw they had Dubai Chocolate Bundtlets and decided to give it a try - the cake was good and moist, but I wish it had more of the kataifi filling. We also took home a Lemon Bundtlet which is my husband's favorite. I prefer the Chocolate Chocolate Chip or Carrot Bundtlets personally. I actually prefer the cream cheese center to the Bundt Cake itself and wish I could just order that by the tub! I like that you can order whole Bundt Cakes and Bundtinis! The inside is small and they offer little items for sale like greeting cards - they do not have tables so you usually just buy your cakes and head out. Came here for my sons first bday cake. Wanted to get a small one for him since he's only one. They had the cinnamon ones. I grabbed one of those, white chocolate raspberry and lemon strawberry. A little pricey for the small cakes. I think two of them for like $1 more being one was gluten free and the other one was seasonal. So one came out to be somewhere around $8.50. Stopped into Nothing Bundt Cakes and grabbed the seasonal Coconut Snowflake, and wow. Super moist, rich coconut flavor, fluffy frosting, and the shredded coconut on top actually works instead of feeling like an afterthought. It hurt my feelings a little that this tiny cake is almost $9, but at least it tastes like something. The shop itself is bright, very girly and cute, and it smells amazing when you walk in. Customer service was warm and friendly, and I like that they have a rewards system where you can snap a pic of your receipt and load points into the app. Definitely a splurge treat, but it hit the spot. Unfortunately, the final product felt rushed and careless. The packaging was inconsistent -- the two containers were different sizes, making them look mismatched. I've always loved coming to Nothing Bundt Cakes for special occasions birthdays, graduations, Valentine's Day, baby showers, and more. The cakes are always delicious, and we've enjoyed them for years. However, my most recent visit was disappointing due to poor customer service. Typically, when I order a decorated cake, I'm asked if I'd like to change the bow color. This time, I requested a white bow since the cake was for a baptism, but the cake decorator/cashier told me they couldn't do that. When I mentioned that I had done this in the past and that decorators had even suggested colors before, she simply responded with, "Not today," in a dismissive tone. She then turned away and looked visibly annoyed, and walked off and said as she was walking to wait a few minutes. Her name was Melissa, and unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I had a negative experience with her, as I had a similar encounter just a few days prior but simply didn't make much of it because I could understand sometimes people are not having great days, but when it becomes repetitive then, obviously there is a problem. I really hate to leave a review like this because I love the cakes, but customer service plays a huge role in the experience. If employees especially cashiers, aren't properly trained to provide good service, it can drive loyal customers away. Sadly, I'm not sure if I'll be returning to this location, but I truly hope management takes this feedback into consideration to ensure better customer experiences in the future. read more

We go there quite a bit & today was the first day we encountered any kind of a kerfuffle. It was this evening after 3 o'clock, and the girl that they had working there was really rude!
