These cakes have a chokehold on me, especially this location! My only complaint about this recent visit was that I placed an order for pickup at 10:15 and was told (after waiting a decent time) that it was still not ready and wouldn't be for another fifteen to twenty minutes. I went back to the car and sat and waited due to there being no seating at this store. Aside from that, I can't think of anything else that was wrong with my recent visit! The location is very clean and I love that you can see all that they have to offer behind some nicely decorated displays. Everything is fresh and you can get mini bundts or giant ones that feed 10+ people! My favorite flavor is the red velvet and they put on the perfect amount of cream cheese frosting. The frosting is sweet and helps round out the cake perfectly! The cake is always moist and flavorful and I love the mini chocolate chips they add to the red velvet, giving it that nice little extra crunch and flavor! Aside from taking an extra almost thirty minutes after the online pickup order I made for a specific time, this place was really great. The staff here was very friendly and tried their best at explaining the flavors, sizes and pricing to someone else in the store while I was there, because they had a hard time understanding how this place worked. The location was super clean and had everything you can think of for a birthday party. I liked that they also had many different flavors and the seasonal flavor looked heavenly. I would have left with more if I wasn't coming just to get my online order. Pricing is decent, with a single serve bundtlet being about $5 dollars. Their cakes are always fresh and super moist. This is the cutest little shop located just in front of IKEA. There are a bunch of places to get food from in this little plaza, but this place has the best desserts. The variety is good, and I have tried lots of their flavors in the past but never the chocolate chocolate chip. Originally, I was thinking of trying the Gluten Free chocolate chip. I asked about the flavor and texture, and the lovely lady behind the counter explained that the gluten-free has a different texture but not really a different flavor. So I do want to say their Bundt cake was delicious as always, however, I did take two stars off because of how it was delivered. We received the Bundt cake as a gift. It was delivered to our home via uber eats. We were out for dinner and luckily the cake was only sitting out in front of door for maybe an hour. Why isn't it packaged in some sort of box? The cellophane was partially opened and made is susceptible for bugs and animals to get in. It was left on our floor in front of door, but there is no other option for the uber eats driver anyways. I just find it so odd that this is how their cakes are delivered. It's like the perfect gift for someone. These arrangements. You could get it in a stack of one, two or three. I had the lemon-blueberry one and the white chocolate raspberry (my favourite) and both rocked my tastebuds. I shared with a friend who thought the same. Very easy to get to if you are in the area (just north of IKEA) They range from mini sized ordered by the dozen to smaller versions and full out diabetic coma sizes as well. While their bundtinis are good, I took off two stars because of the way they were delivered. I usually pick them up but the last two deliveries were not good. The first one was my fault and I will take accountability of that one but the second one, after putting the suite number and name of the company, they were again going to be left in the lobby like the first delivery and not only that, one of the sides was not taped so it was easily accessible which I did not like. I called and spoke to a manager and explain on how they need to give the Uber driver instructions so this does not happen and she did not seem to care so I think this might be the last time I will be ordering from there. I really wanted to give this place more stars but I couldn't get over the fact I had to purchase a cake in order to sample. I wanted to put an order for two tiered Lemon cake (70.00) I had never tried it but it's what I needed to order for a birthday. I spoke with the manager to see if I can sample the smallest Bundtini bite size which is like a mini mini cupcake. With no customer service she just said no we don't have Samples , basically you can buy it. Losing a customer and word of mouth review is silly of the manager to overlook. It seems she doesn't know how to do simple equations. If someone was spending 70.00 on a tiered cake at my bakery I would absolutely figure out how to allow them to sample. Their are nine classic flavors to choose from and a seasonal one. The cakes come in various sizes. I usually go for the bundtlets (individual size). The bundtlets are hearty enough for two to share or for two servings. Below are some of the flavors I've had in order of preference. Cinnamon swirl (was a classic flavor but no longer available) Lemon (classic flavor and hubby's favorite) Pumpkin spice (seasonal flavor) Pecan praline (classic flavor) Carrot (classic flavor) The service at this location is polite. However I found the other location's service & vibe to be more helpful & upbeat. The parking at this location is also smaller and more congested due to the popularity of the shops in the plaza. The Bundt Cakes here a very moist and flavorful! I got a box of 12 bundtlets for Mother's Day. I got a couple of White Chocolate Raspberry, Lemon, Marble, Confetti and Red Velvet. With ten great flavors to choose from, everyone's happy! The store also has a great selection of elegant decorations, party favors and gift ideas; absolutely wonderful for any occasion! This location recently opened in Sunrise, near the Sawgrass Mall, on the outskirts of IKEA. I've bought from them several times now and met the owner, Dannie, on my last visit. She and her store associates aim to please. As far as the product, the cakes are moist, flavorful and nicely decorated, using eggs, butter and cream cheese. It would be amazing if they added a couple of other frosting decorations for more of a variety, as the larger cakes can only be decorated in either the thick petal or the drizzle, but till then, this store does great work at keeping the brand consistent.
