So this place takes the cake with stupidity. My wife went in and ordered 6 different cakes. Her total was $117.50. My wife handed her $120 cash. The person at the counter refused payment stating they can't "take anything larger than a $50 bill". Now I would understand this if her total was $10 and trying to pay with a $50 bill. Fine, I get it. But the fact they would not accept a $100 and $20 bill for a $117.50 total blows my mind. The change would be $2.50 regardless the denomination of currency. Needless to say she cancelled her order and we will not be returning. Hopefully they fix this stupidity before they lose more business. read more

The only reason why I didn't give this location (N. Oracle) five stars is because the last couple of times that I've gone into the store, the representatives have not been very friendly. This is not so much about the quality of the company's food but the quality of service. Awhile ago, my wife signed up for the Nothing Bundt Cake birthday club which gives an individual a supposed free mini bundt cake on my birthday, She received the e-mail offer and printed it out. She was not going to be able to pick up the cake, so she gave me the printed email coupon to use. When I got to the Nothing Bundt cake Oro Valley Store, I ordered the cake saying it was birthday club cake coupon. After wrapping up the cake, I thanked them and handed them the coupons. My wife is gluten free and I expressed to the employee my appreciation. When I handed the coupon to the employee, that is when the challenge began. The employee said that since I was not the actual individual on the coupon, they would not honor the coupon. I asked for the manager. The manager​ showed poor customer service, even after I explained that my wife was very busy and I was doing this on her behalf- I even showed them my id (to show them I was the spouse) The manager said no, not only would they not honor their own coupon, but they would CHARGE US THE FULL PRICE for the cake. The manager said he only way we could use the coupon was if MY WIFE PHYSICALLY CAME IN THAT DAY. The store closes at 5pm, and this was a little after 4 pm when it happened. We hurried to get there by 5 pm, but arrived at 5:03 pm. It was closed. I have never been so treated so poorly. To not honor a coupon because an individual is unable to be there in person is ridiculous THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I HAVE EVER BEEN TO NOTHING BUNDT CAKE, ORO VALLEY. A dangerous hidden gem off of Oracle. We moved to Tucson missing some of the cupcake places from our previous two towns, and when we found this bakery, we were very pleasantly surprised! This is not a typical bundt cake. They are moist (I hate that word, but it's true!), the flavors of the cakes are awesome and do not taste overly processed, and the frosting is always delicious. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit all of the flavors we have tried, so instead I'll just say that our favorite thus far is the red velvet. Love the mini bundt cakes! Moist, delicious with a nice flavor selection (carrot cake, chocolate, red velvet, white chocolate raspberry, lemon). My only critique is that the frosting is too sweet and there's too much on the cakes, but that's a personal preference and I'm fine with scraping off some of the frosting. I like that they have seasonal flavors, and offer samples for the customers. Their store is clean and the service is great. The last time I went in they had a Buy One, Get One Free special that I wasn't aware of, but the woman at the counter added the discount for me anyway. How sweet! I kind of hate to leave this review because honestly the staff was super friendly and the location is cute and clean and welcoming. I'm honestly hoping my experience was a fluke. I ordered two different cakes. One vanilla and one peppermint chocolate. They both tasted really good at first but then had a sour after taste. I couldn't keep eating it. I called the store to ask if they thought the milk in the icing had gone bad and was told it's just the flavor of the cream cheese icing. (This was way beyond cream cheese sour. These mini bundts are amazing. Carrot cake, cinnamon, PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN. Even o you don't see the pineapple (somewhat of a disappointment), the flavor was definitely pineapple. Sample the "of the day" flavor, which never disappoints. The place is spotless and clean, which works really well for my inability to to eat food from dirty places. The staff is so sweet. Had never heard of the cake store in front of us called Nothing Bundt Cakes. We went inside - they had a sample tray with tastes of 1 of their bundt cakes - it was fantastic! We browsed the selections in the case and chose one of the mini cakes to take home. After dinner, we drove home talking about these great cakes . . . We split the mini at home. When husband went to pick it up they would not help him to place a cake in a box instead of cellophane. Littered told him "oh well sorry" and walked away. this is a great shop nestled in the middle of the tamale factory and good will. The dessert prices range from $4-30 depends what you are ordering. We stopped in to get our vet's office a nice thank you for taking care of my dogs, and spent about $18 for mini cakes. It was a definite treat and great idea. read more
