The worst experience that I have had in a very long time!! Customer service was the absolute worst. It was my birthday and I left disappointed. The server brought my slice of birthday cake and slammed it on the table. The cake turned over and the sparkly thing on top turned over and almost burned my wife's arm. The server gave no damns. The grits were cold, the chicken was cooked in old grease. My daughters work in food service and took one look at the chicken and said that the grease needed to be changed. The icing on the cake was when I asked for a carry out for my slice of $16.00 cake, the server took forever to bring it then rolled his eyes and said nastily, "I thought she ate the cake!" If he had checked on us at all, he would have known that I hadn't. He then proceeded to go back and forth with my daughter when she questioned him about his attitude. He stormed out and sent somebody else over to finish with us. Totally disrespectful. I will never go back to this restaurant and I am telling all of my family and friends not to go. The only reason they get 1 star is because the system makes me so so. read more

Whew. It's so much to unpack here. This establishment has thee worst customer service and the dinner hasn't even started. I went for a birthday dinner and it was terrible. They made the birthday girl feel so bad. Not only did they turn away some of her guest but they wouldn't even let some of them come back to the back area to bring her birthday cards. It made us not want to spend any money at all. You should make people feel welcomed and not like it's a burden to be a customer here. The music was horrible, management just made the whole vibe and celebration completely off. I love to support black businesses but this was just uncalled for. We were seated outside and clearly there isn't any presence of pest control because the flies greeted us better than the mangers and people at the front door. The menu is very limited and it was just mediocre. The waitress told us what we ordered and what the final price was. She failed to mention that gratuity was already added. My fault for not asking for a receipt and not seeing 18% gratuity was added. I added an extra 18% because I'm a tipper. Our bill ended up being over $100 for 2. Odd that the machine didn't print a receipt either. They bamboozled us this time but never again. Will not be back. Not going to patronize a place because of hype. I watched this place being built from the ground up it use to be an old fire station. This restaurant is so close we can walk to it . We went on a busy evening the owner was there ,we didn't have reservations. She was working the hostess station like a champ the staff was top grade A .. come through Jonesboro. It's 50 degrees and we had party of 5 They had several large booths inside but said that was only for bottle service- not sure how many bottles they sell at lunch They broke our party up into a table of 2 and 3 next to each other. On 10:16 I had the pleasure of dining here. We celebrated my mom and her twins sister 82nd birthday along with other family members. I made a reservations for 15 and 23 showed up. The staff and manager was very accommodating adding chairs and tables. Our server Dee was more than amazing, he took excellent care of us. The food abs drink was amazing. Dined at this restaurant around Noon on a Saturday; the restaurant was at less than 50% capacity which is why our treatment was disappointing. (1) I had to wait outside (instead of the air conditioned area). (2) I asked if I could sit at the bar when the hostess paused, I said I'd order a drink and she replied that if I sat at the bar, I had to stay there because they have a "no table transfers" policy. (3) The crab cakes were undercooked and over seasoned. (4) Gratuity was included for a party of two; then the waiter dry begged by mentioning the gratuity was split three ways (I added more). (5) The waiter informed us that we'd met the two hour limit; we didn't know about this policy so it seemed abrupt and rude plus we hadn't been there two hours. On a Saturday afternoon about 3:30 we decided to give this a try. Lucked up on a parking spot on Mill St. Walked around the side street to enter and a young lady at the door asked if we had reservations. Told her we did not and she said hold on a minute and let me check if we have a table for 2 for a walk in. After a few minutes she came back to the door with the security guy and he said we had 2 choices, the covered patio or inside where the music is loud. We accepted the inside. And yes the music was loud but we didn't have too much problem hearing our server. She was nice. We ordered the eggs appetizer then a Cobb salad and veggie frittata. The only problem that I had was the frittata had no salt in the egg center. Ended up taking most of it home anyway. We plan to come back when we can eat more and try the crab cakes and the seafood and grits. read more

BEWARE OF THE TIP SLIP!!!! Our food was absolutely amazing, as was the service. HOWEVER....unless you are directed to read there is a mandatory tip of the 18% for checks over $50, you are going to get took. We did not get a paper receipt, but a digital machine in the hands of the waitress and she also did not inform us of the added tip $21.83, so we gave her a $20 cash tip and she still did not say the tip was included!!!! While the food and service was good, it was not $43 good and I feel like we were robbed. We went here to celebrate my mother's birthday, from the time we got theirs to the time we left it was a shit show. They wouldn't let us in because one person wasn't there, and when we were seated the table wasn't big enough, the waiter that we had, had no clue as to what he was doing, he told us that we had to order everything at one time, never heard that before. I don't think anyone understood the assignment that day. Let's talk about the food, or they lack of, because no one was able to eat it because we were too busy fighting off BEES. I didn't realize that bugs were apart of the menu, cause they shared a piece of everyone's food. My sister gave our father a piece of lamb chop before the bee landed in her plate, do you know that they had the nerve to try and charge her for that lamb chop. I'm allergic to bees so I asked one of the managers on the inside what are y'all going to do if I get stung, this dude said we might call 911, really. It doesn't end there I asked the assistant manager what she was going to do to make this right, she straight up told me NOTHING but, I will give you a to go tray. I'm sure it's very unprofessional to be handling out bee/ bugs spray around customers and food. Another thing if your going to sit people outside make sure that the tables and chairs are clean, and you don't have dust everywhere. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant nor will I send or tell anyone about it. We have got to start doing better. It's a HARD 0 out it 10 for me. Came in on a Sunday, as a walk in. Understanding that they have reservations, they did not have a estimated timeframe on being seated. After waiting an hour or so they started to have an attitude when asked how much longer they think the wait would be. We saw multiple people without reservations be let into the establishment waiting area then seated. We verified with them if they'd had an reservation. Understanding that we are still in a pandemic and staffing levels are not great, they do not have a plan in place. They seem to have an iPad which would help put you into a que then in which you could get a text when you're table is ready. The food is good but other establishments have better service and overall experience. Also be prepared to look at your bill because I was charged gratuity and then tipped double. So for mediocre service and not that great of experience ended up with a 45% tip. It'll be hard for me to visit again. read more

I was so looking forward to trying this spot. I wish that I could leave a positive review, however, I am deeply disappointed. While the music was nice as well as the decor that is where the positive ends. First off the appetizers we ordered were 2 deviled eggs and a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The deviled eggs were supposed to have fried chicken skin; instead of chicken skin it was a small piece of fried chicken tender. The grilled chicken for the Caesar salad didn't come until after we have almost finished our entrees. The entrees came out about 3 minutes after our appetizers. We ordered the crab cakes, lemon pepper wings and plain wings. The crab cakes were tasty, but I found 3 shells in them. The crab meat was shredded and not the nice lump meat that I expected for the price. The portion was more like appetizer size and came on an appetizer plate. The plain wings were overly salted. The lemon pepper wings were ok but nothing special. There were issues in getting the checks right and afterwards we realized that they had included 18% gratuity in the check. This would not have been an issue if we had been told as the waitress wound up getting double tips from all three of us. This review is for the Jonesboro location. read more
