She enjoys her job and goes out of her way to make sure her customers are happy and follows through with all the ordering details. DALE made selecting tile less of a daunting task. My builder recommended Best Tile although they were more expensive. He told me I need to order all installation materials from them as well as because if a problem occurs they will then take ownership of it. One tile which was white began turning pink after six months. Best Tile said it was my tile installers fault even though my builder and I dispute it with reasonable evidence. I asked for names of the people who determined the installation was faulty and I was told by Best Tile they were not at liberty to tell me. After much effort my builder arranged for Best tile to sell us the tile for their cost. This time I did check on prices and their cost was more than other tile companies sell it for. Be aware that you can not return if you miscalculated the square feet. They have several excuses, like.... that is more that one month ( not my case) I bought the boxes June 17 , also that is " special order". According to them is special order but at the shop all is special order they are middle man business! We were remodeling our kitchen and went to the tile store that our contractor recommended. My husband wanted a blue accent wall behind the stove. The store our contractor recommended didn't have any blue tiles that we liked. They recommended us to Best Tile of Rockville. We worked with Dale. She let us look around first and after we found a few we were interested in she estimated the cost for each so we could compare. She then recommended a few herself that could be cost effective options since apparently we had some expensive taste in tile! We eventually decided on a tile. She asked if we were sure this is all we needed and told us if we ended up needing more it could be from a different lot or could take time to get in. Us not knowing and just trusting in our contractor said that should be enough our contractor measured. The tile was ordered and they said it could take some time because it had to come from their warehouse. Which was fine because our remodel wasn't starting for a awhile. Tiles came in very quickly. Definitely less time then expected. Fast forward 5 months and our contractor tells us they are short on tile. We actually ordered extra and they went through that too. So we called Best Tile to order more. I got Ray on the phone. He looked up our order checked all the stores inventories and then he said the words I heard so often during this remodel "supply chain issues". He apologized and said he wouldn't get more in till April. It was January. We wouldn't be able to finished the remodel that was only 2 weeks away from being done. Ray told me he would check their store room for sample tiles (I only needed 8 pieces). He called me back and had some and said to come by and pick them up. He even double checked the store and the back for more. He called other stores to see if they had samples I could have. Finally he found the additional pieces i needed at another location and said they woukd be waiting for me. They were and I had all the pieces I needed. This literally made my day! With the ups and downs of a remodel this was the happy ending I needed for once. Best Tile was great during this whole process. Really tried everything to help me. None of the problems I had were their fault but they still worked with me to solve the issue. If you need tile, I highly recommend you try Best Tile of Rockville. Their options are good and their customer service was beyond. Also listen to them and have reasonable expectations. Tile isn't delivered immediately like next day ( they told me that upfront), they recommended we order more then we need ( do it trust me), and they even told me to make sure my contractor knew how to install glass tile when I picked it up. They literally tell you everything so you aren't surprised later. They even told us about their return policy before we bought. They were very upfront you just have to listen! We recently renovated a bathroom by removing a tub and installing a tile shower, with wall, accent, and floor tiles. We also replaced the vanity top and sinks and get compliments from everyone we show it to. We visited numerous tile stores in the area but found that Best Tile had the best selection of accent tiles. In addition, the design advice we got (from Emma Wilcox) was excellent. We're extremely happy with our choices and the finished bathroom. I bought a beautiful porcelain tile from the "watered silk" collection for my kitchen floor remodel. It was exactly what I wanted and looks beautiful. Although Best Tile didn't have the size tile I wanted for a black glass backsplash, my designer, Francesca recommended that I stay with that size even though they didn't sell it. The customer service was excellent as were the prices and beautiful selections. I am doing a bathroom remodel now and because of the excellenent service I went straight to Best Tile without even looking anywhere else. Francesca has been so helpful and patient. She sends me home with free samples to keep for as long as I want without any sales pressure. I will be buying the floor and shower tiles for my new bathroom from Best Tile and I highly recommend them for a great shopping experience. read more

Great CS! Prices vary and can be more than competitors. The guys that work in the back/warehouse are super helpful as well and will call around to see if other tile shops have a piece that you're looking for if they can't get one in the timeline that you need. I never ever do reviews, but I felt like other people should know my experience at this store. I worked with Emma on a kitchen remodel. (Kitchen flooring and backsplash). She was all about my projected at first, until she ignored all emails, calls and when I did show up she ignored my presents. I was confused. I approached a women to ask if I did something wrong, she was confused too. I believe her name was Virginia. She help me selected options, gave me advice and was very professional. One day I showed up when she wasn't there and another young lady maybe Francesca?. She help me with the finally decision when she was busy with two other people. Maybe I didn't pick the right designers at first, but towards the middle to end I was happy. Please please if anyone is going to do business with this store, I would highly recommend Virginia and Francesca has designers. read more

Worked with the Best Tile in Rockville MD. While I do think they have good selection of nice tile their policies are not very customer friendly. Also, I think their prices are a little bit on the high end. They don't stock any tile in their local warehouses so you need to wait 5-7 business days to get any tile unless you pay a $125 fee to expedite the order. Even without that you have to pay a $25 warehouse fee to get it from a central warehouse to a local warehouse. Unlike most other tile stores they do not let you return any full unopened boxes of warehouse stocked tile (custom ordered I understand but stocked should be returnable). As a result, you end up getting extra tile so you don't have to wait 5-7 days to get additional tile if you run short and then when the extra tile goes to waste. So at the end of the day, it ends up being pretty expensive to buy from Best Tile. Unfortunately after spending over $2,400 with my most recent project I ran short with some pencil trim tile that weighs less than 1 lb and they wanted to charge me $25 to UPS it to my house; although, after complaining to the manager they did reduce it to only a $10 shipping fee. In addition, Neila (sp?) at the Rockville location is difficult to deal with, if she tries to help you when you walk in ask for someone else. Years ago after spending many hours with Neila working on a project I walked away and went somewhere else for my tile. There are several other showroom designers that are very helpful so if you shop there just make sure you have your measurements pretty accurate and you have plenty of lead time. With this most recent project I wish I had gone somewhere else to begin with but I was under a time crunch and did have time to shop around. read more
