But they put 78psi on my tire that has max 51psi which normally runs 38psi during cold weather. 78psi. I am so glad I checked. Otherwise it would had a blowout and possibly lost the car. I got a flat tire after I drive over a nail picking up my friend at the airport. I called and they were so nice and said as long as I bring the car in before they close, they could help me....they closed in 45 minutes. The tow truck driver took me there which was a 10 minute drive, and they immediately assisted me with open arms. They found I couldn't get a patch due the damage being too extent but they were able to set me up with a plug in the meantime until I get a replacement. I was referred to JL Tire by a Neighbor/Friend when my work truck was needing urgent work for a Alternator and a Starter. It was unfortunate that I would have loved it to be done sooner but it was due to lateness of day and the need for ordered parts, that the repair had to wait the weekend. On Monday when the parts arrived, the work was accomplished during the expected time duration for the projects, and I picked the truck up. While heading home later one of the teeth from the belt dislodged, and wrapped itself around the fan. I was only a 1.5 miles from my house and got it there and parked it. The next morning I called the office and Raul, answered. When I told him the problem, he said he'd send the tow truck to pick the truck up. Instead, a few hours later, He showed up at my house with a technician, and proceeded to install a new belt. The problem was the day before, he was holding the belt in his hand but it never got to the right technician, and the old belt wasn't replaced with the work. What impressed me was the honesty and customer service that they came to my house and made the repair and I was on my way to my customers for the day. I will be referring them in the future to any who are in need of a repair facility. read more

I discovered I had a flat tire on my Silverado 3500 Diesel that I am using to transport cars fr Florida to Virginia. I had bought a fuel filter from a dealership and they wanted to charge more than $150 to change the filter - something that would actually take a decent mechanic all of 2 minutes to do. So I decided to do it myself. As I looked under the diesel tank I realized I didn't have the tool to do the job and worse yet one of my tires was flat. I came in looking to get the tires replaced on my Rav4 ( I hit the curb with one of the tires and had a chunk of rubber hanging off and the other tires were down to the tread). I had a list of places to visit, hoping to find a good deal that fit within my budget and this was first on my list. I spoke with Raul, the manager, who took a look at my car and said that the tires needed changing and that I needed an alignment as well. I explained my situation to him, and he asked if I were looking for a specific brand or if I had any preferences, to which I responded, " I want a good set of tires for a good price- not too cheap and not too expensive either." He offered me a fantastic deal, which included mounting and balance, and an alignment. I told him that I needed to look around some more and that I would get back to him, if I decided to go with their shop. After going to several other shops that day, I ended up making an appointment with J&L a few days later. Raul answered all of my questions, even offering to show me some of the equipment they have in the shop, and he called me to let me know that there would a be a delay in getting my car ( due to an electrical outage they were experiencing) on the day I brought my car in, which I really appreciated.
