Review for the outdoor space only--seriously some of the least friendly bartenders I've ever encountered. Terribly slow service with major attitude. Food is hit or miss, cross your fingers that the dude in the food truck isn't face timing his roommate and that their ticketing system doesn't malfunction, or else you're out of luck, no food. The margaritas varied in strength, seems like the second batch we got was really sweet and syrupy (like they didn't mix the ingredients enough and we got the dregs of a bottle?). If you're a mosquito, you'll love this place--very crowded. They provide bugspray gratis, but it doesn't help much. On the bright side, their trailer bathrooms may smell terrible as you walk towards them but once inside, they're air conditioned and fresh smelling, phew! It's the little things, right? read more

An absolute gem. My gf lives around here and so decided to go for a drink. They have a truck that cooks food if u want. I got the chicken Bahn MI bowl and the fries. Fries were thick steak fresh fries. The chicken bowl was a bit disappointing. The rice was overcooked as well as the chicken. But the atmosphere was everything. Hammocks and benches. The place has a cool atmosphere with the fog & lights, but the music was trash. I get that people love EDM but having it played all night long is underwhelming, especially when the songs selected are not good. However, I was still trying to have a good time... but then my friend & I got kicked out cuz she was trying to text someone while we were on the dance floor, she was brief but still. That "no phone speech" was given before entry but it was not specific at all. It was our first time here and I didn't think that sending a text would get someone kicked out. I thought that policy leaned more towards pictures or videos because usually when u go somewhere that says "no phones," it's usually to prohibit pictures & videos, but people can still pull out their phone for a second to text. I wish the woman with the short platinum hair & the security guard were nicer about it instead of hastily kicking us out since it was our first time there. My friend was not purposely trying to break the rules. We basically wasted our money on the cover charge & drinks because we were only there for under an hour so we didn't get to fully enjoy anything. This was such a peculiar situation... I have never done anything to be kicked out of a bar/club before. This is definitely my first & last time at this place. read more

They have installed a food truck on the premises They serve burgers and light fare. You can bring the kids too. Lots of space for them to run around and play. There are lots of seating areas. This place was amazing. It's a random lot in a very random neighborhood but it was so great once there. It's a huge outdoor garden that feels like a playground for adults. There's all types of beers and a few cocktails. There's also food trucks if you get hungry as your downing drinks. The only thing to watch out for is there is only portable bathrooms so don't drink too much or I'm sure you'll end up in a very disgusting situation. The decor is beautiful and there is plenty of space. I wish I had found this gem earlier in the summer! But will def enjoy it throughout fall. This place had come up on a few websites I follow as an ideal location for the the warmer months. It is super from pretty much everything, except for my lucky friends in Bushwick, but I thought it was worth the trip. I enjoyed my first porchetta tacos so much I decided to get another order but that one differed greatly in quality. The shells were too hard and the meat was more gamey for some reason. Also tried the radish salad and that was a bit of a mess and underseasoned. My friend ordered the hamburger and was pretty disappointed because the bun was stale and the meat was a little overcooked. Otherwise, the venue itself is ideal: vast space with good speakers and enough picnic tables to sit at. Drinks weren't overly expensive. Will certainly check out one of their Sunday darties here this summer! read more

Don't tell the hipsters about this place. It's great, you can get alcohol here, and I don't have to go all the way to Bedford or Lorimer for a decent place to drink. The food is to die for. I had the burger and it was so good, their fry dipping sauce smelled amazing. Only downside is there's a $10 minimum and the bar and food area are separate so you can't put it all on one tab. And there's no atm right near there so either bring cash or plan on drinking at least two drinks, even if it's Sunday night. Also a little weird that children are allowed here in what feels like a potential outdoor bar. You really wouldn't expect this cool of a place for Bushwick / Ridgewood yet. read more

This place just opened recently and so far everything is on the up and up. I love the fact that it is dog friendly as my pups enjoyed meeting other dogs and dog lovers. The place and the drinks are five stars but the food is only two. Hence my three as review. I love the place but the food (except for Arrogant Swine) has definitely gone downhill. My husband had the soft tacos - which were hard and you had to search for the chicken. I had the rice noodle salad which was the worst $12 I've spent on food in a long long time. It was supposed to be served with "seasonal vegetables," arugula and ponzu. First of all, it took a half hour to get the food and the place wasn't busy at all. The seasonal vegetables consisted of green beans only with two slivers of red onion. The arugula looked like it had been mushed in its bag for a day or two and the sauce was virtually tasteless. It's not hard to find with the assistance of a mobile device, but it's definitely off the beaten path compared to a typical night out in NYC. First thing I noticed was the overall pleasantness of the staff. It's also a very laid back atmosphere. It feels like you're at a backyard party somewhere upstate - picnic tables, burgers, hot dogs, beer, wine, etc. A casual ambiance and a quality experience, especially compared to wannabe "hot-spots" that are able to mask the poor quality of the staff and service. Bring a deck of cards and don't miss out on the Ping Pong. Would recommend 100% for casual get-togethers with a group friends. read more

It's even worth toughing it out during a light drizzle, on account of the umbrellas. The place has good music, grass to lounge on (my friend, who is allergic to grass, found that this grass gave him no trouble), various games to play, and a chill vibe. Great place for drinks and simple (but well prepared) bar eats. It is what it is, and it is good. A welcome addition to the neighborhood! Only complaint I have about the place is the fleas and other insects (in ADDITION to the mosquitos) that come along with the greenery, tall grass and pet-friendly environment. In addition to the bug spray offered to patrons, the management of this place should consider investing in a bulk shipment of diatomaceous earth to treat the common areas and keep fleas and other crawling critters at bay. read more

Was in the neighborhood visiting a friend and they brought us to this place. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. Inside is very clean and cool. They have a large outdoor space as well as a very spacious inside area. Came on a Sunday afternoon, but busy at all. Only complaint was that .. I don't think it was actual bartenders at the bar, they might have been bar backs doing the off shift?? And they suddenly closed the bar/kitchen at 4pm without warning and without coming around to let us know it was last call. Cool place, good food, good drinks, need better staff. read more

No cellphones on the dancefloor, which is a world-class sound womb that will envelop you and take you away. Love the hazy vibe later in the night. Also appreciate being able to take a break for a chat at a table in the side lounge or a smoke outside. They had a food truck and a couple of their own signature cocktails (jalapeno margarita and party punch) that were really tasty. Plenty of good, non-alcoholic options too for anyone who isn't drinking. They have outdoor bathrooms and a smoking section as well if you want to avoid cigarettes (major plus for me!) This a gem in the summer months. It's a great place to hang out at a picnic table with some friends chat and maybe play a game of bocci (sic) no cost for the games but they do hold a license. Beer selection changes but from my experience all very decent. I haven't tried to cocktails, so I can't speak to them.
