Good place to go specially during summer on "Summer Sunday's" their afternoon party. This year they are extending the event until the last weekend of October. I've been three times and I really like the ambiance in here. Is chill, please really go to enjoy the music and dance, and drinks are well made at a reasonable price. The only part that I think could improve is that their food offer is usually very limited and overpriced, so if you go make sure to eat something before arriving, and the bar always lack inventory of their beers, so their selection is not as wide as it shows the menu, I've been three times this summer and they never have what I ordered (multiple beers on different days) so I have to get something else. Other than that I really like their "respect and tolerance" policies, the crowd is usually very nice and not conflictive, I've never seen a fight or bad attitude from the guests. I would definitely recommend going, enjoying good music and having a good time. I've never been during their night events but they seem to have a very good DJ selection as well.

Amazing outdoor space! It's huge, comfortable and welcoming, tons of different seating areas and various food and drink options. They also have board games. I would definitely come back to access this amazing outdoor space and great vibes.

15$ for nachos with any cheese ?

The Zumbador food thing out back feels like a price grab . Use to be cool and good hearty food you could count on. We miss Izakaya ! 15$ nachos with no cheese ??? Wtf . And they give you a hard time if you want extra anything and charge you $1.00 for a thimble size lolz :( RIP Izakaya. They had the best $9 burger around . And so kind. Not trying to yo price gauge . And they would remember you when you'd come back and always say hi ! Food is important.

I come here mainly for the ambiance and resemblance of a backyard. Drinks are good, pretty standard. There's also a Mexican food truck w delicious guacamole and chips. Good place to have a chill birthday party or hangout

Fried chicken sandwich. As you can see the entire center of the chicken is raw.

DO NOT EAT AT THE FOOD TRUCK! The food was horribly undercooked and I suspect this was not the first time. Five bites into the fried chicken sandwich it was clear they didn't know what the heck they were doing in the kitchen. The chicken was crispy on the outside and raw in the middle. Clear sign they don't know to fry chicken and heat was probably too high. Frankly, I am concerned about the food safety for the food truck cause it shouldn't be that pink like never. Plus they barely wanted to refund the entire meal -- not great customer service. We also had the tempeh, which was just okay. The only thing good was the fries, which were probably frozen. So a safe bet.

It is the last original beer garden remaining in New York City. On a hot summer day, the Beer Garden just off 31st street is the place to come and relax, watch a game or event, or, at other times, attend a civic or social meeting with local elected officials in one of their private rooms or the main auditorium. I was here last July to hang out and hold an outdoor meeting about a local park in Astoria. We had a choice of burgers, mac and cheese, pizza schnotzel, beer-battered onion rings, and various fried foods. However, there is one aspect of going to the Beer Garden that I ABSOLUTELY HATE, and that is bouncers frisking down visitors or asking customers to show an ID. In my opinion, that is a turnoff and unnecessary action taken, for orderly, polite adults, and makes you feel as if you are in a strip club, and thus an invasion of the person's right to privacy. I recommend, yes, but it is best to go when you want to attend a group event.

Cobblestones is an absolute treasure in the Kew Gardens/Forest Hills area and should be treated as such. I came here years ago back when Solid State Band used to play here regularly, so it had been a minute since my last visit (nearly 15 years). A friend of mine was on jury duty at the courthouse and I agreed to meet her here for Happy Hour before the Knicks game. What an amazing job they have done to put together a beer garden that perfectly blends the feel of an urban landscape and the charm of Bavaria. The picnic style tables might be small and closely packed together, but from the moment I walked in, I felt transported to another part of the world. Excellent specials during happy hour which runs 3-7 Monday to Friday - all drafts $7 for a half liter (that's 16.9 ounces for the non-metric folk) and their selections are perfectly acceptable for a beer garden. I recommend the Reissdorf Kolsch, the Radeberger Pilsner, and the Schofferhoffer (a grapefruit low-alcohol beer perfect for summer). They also offer several wines for $7 during HH, and half priced wings (they are very clear that it is for dine-in only so you cannot take your leftovers). Cobblestones also has 1-liter beer options as I saw a few people walking around with giant glass boots filled with beer, and lots of people were ordering food. We simply opted for waffle fries and they were hot, seasoned, and came in a decent sized portion. The staff here were the true highlight of the experience. Although our server did not tell us her name at any point, she was attentive, suggestive in salesmanship, always around, friendly, and fast. Lots of worker-bee types here ensuring the guests are well cared for - diverse and smiling, just the way Queens should be. By 6PM there was a line out the door to get a table for the Knicks/Spurs finals game, so this seems to be a popular place to watch events with friends - I recommend getting your table two hours in advance of whatever you plan to watch here! There are plenty of large screens outside in the beer garden (half of the tables are covered with an awning). Many guests brought their board games and playing cards, and I saw a giant wheel at the end of the bar, which means I will be coming back to experience whatever Spin-The-Wheel chaos they provide at Cobblestones. I'm already planning a return visit with friends, you should do the same. Their food menu looks good, the staff is amazing, the vibes are top notch. Well done, Cobblestones!

Small and tasteless, it sounded better on the menu. It came with a fried egg and bacon but didn't have any sauce. It tasted dry, worse than any fast food burger. I ate it because I was hungry but I wouldn't have it again. Not worth the $27 cost.

By all means it was a pleasant evening so everyone and their third cousin's brother-in-law was ready for an (almost) summer beer. My friends and I arrived around 6pm and the tables inside and out were packed, and that says a lot since there's seating for around 150 people counting the family-style, picnic tables and benches. The industrial chic inside spaciously fits a long cement bar seating about 10 bar chairs comfortably, and what looks to be about a dozen beers on tap on the wall behind the bar. We managed to find a few outdoor benches to squat with our bags and took turns grabbing drinks and food. While I only had a small pour of the ILL Niño 7oz $5 (also comes in 16oz $9 / 23oz $11 / 64oz $32) it was a refreshing, medium-bodied lager--citrusy and a perfect complement to the warm weather and sunset breeze.
